Wearing gear builds confidence in riding. Also helps you build your skill set, by allowing you to push your comfort limits. Keep in mind your front brake is also not needed as much as they tell you. I use clutch, downshift, rear brake and can stop fairly quick. I rarely ever use the front brake at all. I think used it maybe a doz times in 3,000 miles.
I think people stress the front brake so much because in an emergency braking situation you have more power in the front and generally using the front is better if you don’t have time or space to engine brake
@@KinMoto you'd be quite surprised how fast you stop grabbing clutch downshift to first and then applying tea brake can stop you. I can go from 70-0 in a hundred or less feet.
