My one daughter lives in Orlando Florida. Her place and her neighborhood was just out of electricity!! Branches on backyards and street. So my daughter and her new neighbour got together cleaned up branches streets and anyone need of help. So her neighborhood is good but just the electricity has not come on. I follow many TikTok creators, who do live in affected areas. It’s so sad to see the aftermath of a hurricane, but the lives lost is unbearably difficult to comprehend. I will say, I’ve seen so many wonderfully happy endings though. I follow a young woman, who had to leave her horses behind. She videoed her return and there they were, frightened, but so happy to see her. The horses were shaking from the trauma, but they immediately calmed down once she hugged them. I think they were just as worried about her, as she was about them. This was the last TikTok I watched, because I cried so much today. I wanted to end my viewing on a happier story. Tomorrow I’m going to see where I can send money and much needed items. Im sure there are many donation sites. I’m mostly concerned for mother’s who need formula, diapers, wipes, baby food, blankets and clothing. Also, feminine hygiene products and new undergarments are always in high demand, but in short supply. Buying the items and finding the donation sites is the easy part, but getting them to Florida asap is the hard part. Between the chaos, the destroyed roadways, the flooding and the crazy sabotage done to the tires of loaded semi trucks that are trying to get in the supplies, the effort to help our Southern family is and will be a daunting task. For now, all we can do is pray and keep trying to help the ones who are in the worse way. Again, I’m very happy your daughter is safe. Vivian has multiple jobs--she sells the jewelry on the website that she made and maintains, she makes the vlogs, she is a paid interior designer or decorator,(fabrics) plus renovating the chateau and who knows what all else. She's a fantastic event planner as well although not for hire. Vivian has found a way to do things that she loves for a living. Simon has a day job and does a ton of manual labor at the chateau. If one is going to own any kind of structure, especially if it's historic, the key to affordability is doing as much of the work oneself as possible. Simon is also a musician with a youtube channel if I'm not mistaken. I for one respect their hustles. Thus far to my knowledge they have not asked for donations of any type. Ashley is a professional singer and tours with Michael Bolton as a backing vocalist. Evidently Kristy is an aerialist. Tonya is a designer. Malcolm Forbes found a way to parlay many things that he did into a money-making or money-saving venture. If he took a trip or went to a restaurant, he wrote a review and expensed it or wrote it off on his taxes. Making money can lead to making more money. I think it's silly to envy working folks when there is a small percentage of the population of the world that is hoarding wealth and has more money than they would ever know what to do with.

Loved this video so much. Sacre Cour stole my heart. I led a group of art students to Paris from my school and local collage. On Easter morning, a small group of us walked to SC before dawn to climb the stairs and see the sun rise over Paris on Easter morning. We passed the green clad street cleaners doing their job Magical!

Watch older episodes of contractor Mike Holmes from Canada regarding flat roof and drainage. I don't see anywhere for water to leave the roof top. I think it should have a slight slant for water to drain. Once it's sealed maybe a floating deck of teak wood in tile shapes . Possibly why the tiles weren't grouted. A guess. I have a few friends that live in Florida, including in Tampa and Orlando (where I actually lived for a while). I was so worried about them, but it seems they made it through OK, though their surroundings have a lot of cleanup. I hope your family made it through without having to go through too much, or have any damage. Here in Normandy the remains of Kirk didn't really do much, just a heavy rain once in a while, but no flooding or damaging winds. Anyway, wonderful episode, and loved the concert experience and the excitement of meeting Seal. Got a kick out of your using the word seal every chance you got! Simon did a beautiful job on that terrace, amazing what a difference the grouting made in how it looks, too!

Wow what a great episode. Not that they aren't all great. But this was nice and long and had a lot of different stuff in it. Y'all really did up Tonya's birthday right--clubbing and everything. When y'all were walking down the small pedestrian street with shops on both sides, I felt like I was in Paris again. I have never thought about the hurricanes going to Europe but you'll forgive me since I've lived on the Gulf Coast for 55 years and been through 2 hurricane floods: Ike in Galveston and Harvey in Houston. I don't know if the storms going to Europe is new or is just since the era of superstorms since at least Katrina in 2005. I was just typing to ask if Seal did "A Prayer for the Dying" and then he was talking about the song. I love that one, think it is unusual and underrated.

I love what he shared that every song is a piece of his diary. How sweet it is for him to share that with the audience that is very intimate. Sacre Cour stole my heart. I led a group of art students to Paris from my school and local collage. On Easter morning, a small group of us walked to SC before dawn to climb the stairs and see the sun rise over Paris on Easter morning. We passed the green clad street cleaners doing their job

Watch older episodes of contractor Mike Holmes from Canada regarding flat roof and drainage. I don't see anywhere for water to leave the roof top. I think it should have a slight slant for water to drain. Once it's sealed maybe a floating deck of teak wood in tile shapes . Possibly why the tiles weren't grouted. A guess.

I have a few friends that live in Florida, including in Tampa and Orlando (where I actually lived for a while). I was so worried about them, but it seems they made it through OK, though their surroundings have a lot of cleanup. I hope your family made it through without having to go through too much, or have any damage. Here in Normandy the remains of Kirk didn't really do much, just a heavy rain once in a while, but no flooding or damaging winds. Anyway, wonderful episode, and loved the concert experience and the excitement of meeting Seal. Got a kick out of your using the word seal every chance you got! Simon did a beautiful job on that terrace, amazing what a difference the grouting made in how it looks, too!

Wow what a great episode. Not that they aren't all great. But this was nice and long and had a lot of different stuff in it. Y'all really did up Tonya's birthday right--clubbing and everything. When y'all were walking down the small pedestrian street with shops on both sides, I felt like I was in Paris again. I have never thought about the hurricanes going to Europe but you'll forgive me since I've lived on the Gulf Coast for 55 years and been through 2 hurricane floods: Ike in Galveston and Harvey in Houston. I don't know if the storms going to Europe is new or is just since the era of superstorms since at least Katrina in 2005. I was just typing to ask if Seal did "A Prayer for the Dying" and then he was talking about the song. I love that one, think it is unusual and underrated.

Although Seal has an English accent his voice has a Nigerian undertone, which I find so sexy. LOL My hubby is Nigerian. 😁 Seals Mom is Nigerian. You definitely have an eye for unique pieces of jewelry which are timeless and elegant. It's nice to have a cherished heirloom to pass on.
