- The mob has had enough of Just Stop Oil. Yes, you know the ones, the groups of activists who sit on the road and block trucks from passing, glue their hands to concrete and throw paint during sporting events.
But normal everyday citizens have had enough. They’re no longer paralysed by fear of judgement or being cancelled. The mob is taking things into their own hands after being let down time and time again by lawmakers.

Few people in a western democratic country won't stand if this happens and support these aggressive protests like in China and Russia, their using the same method to protest for their civil rights and are only pissing the governments off but gaining support from public and international communities. The reason JSO is losing support massively with some polls against them being 94% out of 15000 people. Is because what their fighting for dosen't require disruption of a person's lives but rather involvement. They are taking away effort from their cause and focusing it on their actions. This is a clear example of how you fight is just as important as what your fighting for. This is where JSO is failing miserably.
Maybe would be good for them to go protest in an oil-rich Middle Eastern country.

I can write an entire book about why what they are doing is actually hurting their cause, and the attempt to have people join it. But I recently heard it put best when someone said.... "When you mess with peoples ability to put food on the table, to take care of themselves, loved ones and their responsibilities, you raise hostility."
Technically what they are doing isn’t hurting their cause, they know exactly what they are doing and it’s working. There is a very obvious answer to this. Ever wonder why they do things that completely destroy their own movement and any hope of people supporting it? It is not a real movement. These are just useful idiots for the government. The police have always had powers to remove anyone blocking traffic and yet don't? Why are they adding new laws when others already exist that covers this completely? It is because Just Stop Oil only exists to make people hate activists and don't have any real goals. It was started and now encouraged by the government because they are currently trying to make it illegal to protest and people would normally not allow that. Make everyone hate protesters and voila, nobody has a problem with the government banning it and taking away our freedom. That's all this is, a way to help the government implement draconian laws with the peoples consent. It is the same as half of the woke people you see on the TV. Its all just a way for them to change laws without people taking notice of what rights they are losing. 20 Years ago some of the laws currently in place would seem like a joke or science fiction to most people. We no longer have freedom of speech, a working justice system, freedom of information and soon no longer have the ability to protest and nobody seems to be complaining. We are slowly losing all of our rights and already have laws that seem to be pulled straight from 1984 by George Orwell. People have already been arrested and had their lives ruined for nothing but opinions or jokes. I bet people think I am exaggerating too but I swear I am not at all. It really is that bad.

Hello from East Tennessee. We haven’t seen this in my small hometown, yet. I can recall growing up and seeing protest about one thing or another. The police would allow it to go on for a short while, but eventually they would dispatch crowd control dogs and officers with nightsticks. Those who persisted left bloody in handcuffs.
I love how security has no idea what to do if there is trouble... what do they think their job is?

I think every State and Country, should, start placing up signs saying Protesting is Prohibited by law by blocking vehicles from traveling. Fine 1000 dollars and 30 days in jail. If these people want to stop oil why don't they start using hydrogen technology? It has really advanced in the last decade and cars can be converted to use it. Maybe they don't do that because they don't want people to travel because they want to create hell on earth.

You were "concerned for their safety" so you and your fellow motorists, being conscientious citizens, took steps to ensure they (the protestors) could still protest in a safe manner (from the sidewalk, out of oncoming traffic, and still free to display their protest signs to passing vehicles and pedestrians).
