    About Who's The Boss?:
Being a parent is tough; being a single parent is even tougher. So when injuries and his wife's death force ex-baseball player Tony Micelli (Tony Danza) into retirement, and a single mom, high powered advertising executive Angela Bower (Judith Light), needed someone to run her household, it was a match made in heaven. Or was it? After convincing her free-spirited, mischievous mother, Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond), that hiring Tony is the right thing to do, the less-than-tidy Angela welcomes him and his daughter Samantha (Alyssa Milano) as the live-in housekeeper for her and her son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro). And while their relationship starts out businesslike and platonic, becoming best friends and confidants makes it hard for two attractive, single adults living under one roof to resist their more grown-up impulses..

While , it did seem like Tony was being a hypocrite He is over 21 so he’s allowed to drink. He should’ve used that argument with Sam and also pointed out that there’s a reason for a drinking age because younger people can’t handle the alcohol like adults. Plus, Tony was probably only gonna have one or two beers at home that’s different than getting totally wasted at a party in a strange place.

And being drunk is not the right thing to do to get punished because it frequently all the time isn't punishable. You have no right to penalize someone for being intoxicated all the time in which Tony's wrong.

Well, I was I guess u can say unpopular in junior high and high school. And I didn't get invited to parties where there was drinks and cigarettes and drugs.. Maybe I was lucky I guess. I filled up on extra curricular activities like the school chorus, school choir, concert choir, chambers singers, drama club, environmental club, speech club, debate club, etc...

It was my observation (though not experience) that people involved in any or all of those things in HS still found a way to drink...and we're talking between 30 - 35 years ago. I can't believe it's changed that much since then.

    • @pallavisreetambraparni6995

@justinbrock. I guess I was just lucky then because I hardly attended parties in junior high and high school. I think getting involved in extracurricular activities outside of school is probably what saved me from habits like smoking, drinking, doing drugs, dating, etc. I was not only involved in all those in school extracurricular activities, but I also took private voice lessons, private piano lessons, and other extracurricular activities outside of school. And I had alot of those on weekdays and on the weekends too. So, I had my plate full in junior high and high school and I didn't actually care that I wasn't invited to any parties like that..

It's not easy for a teenager to drink. If Sam wants to drink or intoxicate herself, then she has to do it away from home and do it somewhere else for example like far away for her to sober up. That way, Tony won't penalize her again.@@zt1053
