Tag-a-long Freddy at the bottom of the cliffs: *sarcastically* "Gee Freddy, thanks for telling me where my son is." "Oh no problem Robert, thanks for throwing me away, punching me, setting me on fire, running me over, and then throwing me off a cliff even though I was just trying to help. I really appreciate it pal."
My thoughts exactly! As soon as I read the message I wasn't thinking "go kill yourself" I thought Freddy was telling him where his son was so it was pretty predictable but still a beautiful story with a happy ending, there's not many of those in these books. I think it's a scarier story for parents though. I hope he bought Tyler a new Freddy.
@@AshleahShortcake these stories are so sad that i honestly thought he was telling him to go to the cliffs because thats where he was going to find his son, dead obviously. Im glad i was wrong
I don't really think Scott was ever suicidal but a lot of people in the fnaf community are going through dark stuff and Scott just made a sweet story for those people
I am hoping his son is alive, especially since I am fed up with FNAF stories about someone dying, mainly kids. I also am still reeling from watching crime stories like with Andrea Yates.
I really love this story like this one was not a fnaf one story but atleast its a story that sends a message to everyone: "Suicide is not the way, You still have a life to continue, don't just waste it."
Am I the only person to take this story at face value (rather than relying on theory) and that the ending does actually happened irl, therefore being the most satisfying and happy story ever?
I can't remember the name of the story to save my life, but there's an old tale of a man wandering the desert with a bird he's owned for a very long time. They ran out of water and are worried they may die of thirst, when they come to a small trickle of water running down the side of a canyon. The man is thrilled, this will solve all his problems and they should have no trouble completing their journey once he's been able to quench his thirst and refill his canteen, but his bird attacks him as he tries to drink. The bird won't drink it, and attacks again when he tries. He shoos the bird away and makes it fly off, and goes to drink, but the bird had knocked over a rock, and stopped the water at the top of the cliff. The man, enraged, draws his sword and kills his longtime friend, before making the long climb to the top of the cliff. He sees why his friend wouldn't let him drink, a very venomous snake had died in the source, and had poisoned the water. I wouldn't have thought that a little Fazbear entertainment product, let alone a psychic friend Fredbear, would be the thing to die to save it's friend, but sometimes these stories take you by surprise. Another fantastic reading as always! I'll catch up sooner or later!
somehow i didn't realize the toy was trying to tell him the location of his son until i looked at the comment section wtf that was a pretty nice story! nothing special but still a very pleasant experience thanks for tw and thanks for your work, you're awesome!
I honestly think this story represents the afton family. I think the afton wife died at childbirth, that's why we never see her in the games. The death of Evan and Elizabeth, probably tipped william over the edge, bringing him to insanity

I didn’t even realize the Freddy was telling Robert to go to the Cliffs to find his son, I thought it was for a different reason. That makes this story so much better in my opinion
I thought that was going to be much darker. I thought Robert snapped and was seeing Tyler as the Freddy doll while the Freddy doll was just sending messages that he was "gone" and has been brought to the cliffs by a stray dog or something. Meanwhile Robert enacts horrible violence on his own kid, then realizes what happened when the cops find the real Freddy doll and brings it back. Then Robert goes to the cliffs because he can't live with what he's done.

Poor Freddy, the horror story here for me was how cruel it was to someone who just wanted to help because he put his own thoughts before assuming that what happened to others was always teasing and in himself the father only saw for himself until the end, what The only thing that mattered was him and what if we took Freddy as a person? What would this subject have done, led by his most basic and selfish emotions, I think that is the terror in the end the father learned thanks to this but ... and If it didn't happen? What if he kept thinking like that until his son's puberty would have been a father who locks him up with him, who compares him with his mother without actually telling him about her and the young man maybe there, if he had ended up on the cliffs , Freddy just wanted to help and do his job being a machine, we can even compare it with the one from the nursery that he despised, although he said something very real, not all families should or are the same, I think the father has too much to thank is The plush bear that I treat so badly, because I reflect its darkest part in that poor toy and that part died along with the toy, it could even be taken almost as a supernatural help I liked it a lot, I don't understand why they despise this story so much, even the ending where it seems that something of him left and he will no longer harm his son with symbols about his mother is beautiful
Dam, I have never seen a story go far like this, with suicide! Not gonna lie, I gotten a little emotional there and thought Robert was gonna kill himself. I have a feeling that the more stories we read, the more depressing it gets! I expect Friendly Face to be depressing too since it's about Andrew losing his friend. Overall, this story was okay and I enjoyed it.

At the end of the epilogue, I first thought the "black and white stripes" was the shirt of the crying child, and Afton disassembled himself in order to escape the memories of his son. But then there was the mask, and I realized it was the puppet. The Puppet had survived the burning of Pizzeria simulator, and so did Afton.
It would’ve been really horrible/interesting if at the end, they had a line that said Tyler’s hand was a little colder than usual or that he sounded a little less enthusiastic than usual. This could’ve implied that the real Tyler was kidnapped, killed, and swapped with a robot
