Love your videos, in fact I subscribe to your channel. I just want to let you know that font isn't a single line font even though I assume the designer said so. For a true single line font there would be no thickness to it at all unless it was set to bold. ❤😊
Sure! The cardstock that I was using wasn't my typical brand, so the settings weren't quite right, and the corners were tearing a little. I turned on the over cut feature to fix that. The sketch part looked horrible because my pen was old and it skipped half of the design. In short, I didn't test my materials before trying to complete a project. 🙈
@@lindajordan6104 I leave the bad takes in often because I think it's important for everyone to see that not every project goes well. I had never thought about the fact that others would learn much else from it. Good to hear!
Broke my type C on the very first try. The plastic components are just too delicate. So I decided to get the metal Chomas Creations adapters instead. They are a little harder to adjust and get just right, but pretty much unbreakable. I wish Silhouette could make something more durable.
I don't think there is one for the Cameo 4, but you will want to use the type b pen adapter. Sketch first, then replace the adapter with the autoblade and cut. It's very similar.
Because I was being lazy. 🙈 It was easier than setting up a third function and switching the tool. If the design was more complex or if there were more score lines, I would have used the embossing tool.
@@silhouettesuccess oh okay, thank you! I just bought the cameo 5 on a Prime Day bundle so trying to pick up as many tips as possible while I wait for it to arrive.
I was literally looking for this info yesterday! This is perfect timing for me!

Can you give a little info on why it didn't work the first time? Love how it turned out.

@@silhouettesuccess Thank you! I often learn more from knowing why it didn't work! :)

That is my biggest complaint with the adapters. Not everything should be made out of plastic. 😭
@@silhouettesuccess Agreed!
Is there a tutorial for the cameo 4? The card came out super cute😊

@@silhouettesuccess thank you.. I've been wanting to try this but didn't know how.
REPLAY-THANKS
So can the type B work in portrate 4 machine?
Why the manual score line?

Will these work with the cameo 4
They only work with the new models. Cameo 5, Portrait 4, and Curio 2. The B type works with the Cameo 4.
