Just wanted to say thanks for explaining multi trig at 3:55. I’ve been faffing around with a bass sound that keeps losing its punch after a few seconds of looping and, me being the absolute amateur that I am, had no idea why. Listening to someone who knows what they’re doing is so enlightening.
Great video! thank you. I just got my Subsequent recently , i absolutely love it! but, i just can't find how to control the velocity when playing the keys? can you please help. Thank you
Here’s the easiest method, without involving mod buses: A) velocity to the filter: go to the envelope generators, click the button to the left of “DELAY”, now the sustain knob on the filter envelope controls velocity towards the filter. Click the button again, the sustain knob goes back to its purpose; B) velocity to the amplification: do the same as in A), this time using the sustain knob of the amp envelope generator; for other destinations, click controllers on either mod 1 or 2, choose velocity as a source, choose a destination. Switch the corrisponding mod bus to F. EG/PGM, set the amount on the mod amount knob of that mod bus. Hope that makes sense :)
Thanks, at the start of the video I thought OK its a fairly standard patch but by the end it got into some more interesting and individual territory. Particularly the dual mod wheel technique. You can also find 10 free patches here which take a completely different approach to the Sub 37. Rhythmic looping envelope is one of the SUB 37 strong points. ruclips.net/video/jgkgnnYyO4c/видео.html

Thank you for reminding me that this’s the best purchase I’ve ever made.
This was extremely useful, thanks!
That program thing is something I haven't used nearly enough, thanks for putting that on my radar.
Great patch well explained. Thanks!
I have this synth since years and it still blows my mind what is possible with that thing. the possibilities are infinite. :O
Great video! Most people don’t show this deep understanding of the synth👏👏
Thank you for this patch tutorial. I love sound design on the Sub and your tutorial inspires even more experimentation. Thanks
i know alot of people who need an adjustable energy knob.
Great informative video !!! Thank you a lot amd best regards from Poland
Great video. Hope to hear some new Knower material soon!
Awesome Sauce!
I reproduced this patch and layered it with a crazy sync patch on a P6 (low note priority on the S37, chords on the P6). Wow!
don't turn down your energy :)
but he must... he is far too powerful....
Wow, it was my energy setting the whole time 🥱

I've had this thing since January and never knew about the velocity amount on the envelopes.. 🤦🏻♂
Is there a 4, any CV out expansion for the Subsequent 37
