This video really makes me miss my own grandfather, a man who lived across the country whom I only saw every few years but whose love and life shaped the person I came to be. He passed away a year ago at age 93. He was a World War II veteran, a father of four, a grandfather of seven and a great grandfather of 3. He was an amazing figure and I miss him dearly. I love him and I know he knew how much I loved him but I wish I could have done this for him.
Everything this RUclips channel touches is gold.
Crying like a silent ninja
Today my teacher did this as a thanksgiving lesson. I didn’t think about how much i would cry today. To be thankful for someone is easy to say but when you let your heart speak its worth more than life.
I need to eat a cactus to feel manly again.
I just have to say, I just discovered this channel and I have watched a few videos and what you guys are doing is wonderful. It has touched me and brought joy to my heart to watch these. Thank you so much @SoulPancake
My grandpa died when I was really young. I don't remember much but what I do remember that he was the person who loved me the most. I don't find anyone's name when it comes to inspiration, I feel it could've been him if we got more time.
This is the only RUclips video to make me cry and I have watched a hell of a lot of emotional RUclips videos
I just tried that is and I can say IT IS awesome. Try it. Put yourself out there. You won't regret it.
I sat here watching this beautiful video, tears in my eyes, thinking. About halfway through this beautiful video, I figured it out. There are two people that have influenced my life the most. My grandmother and my best friend. The influence they have brought to my life is greater than anyone else i have ever met. but there is one problem. I cant sit here and give them a call, and tell them how I feel, because unfortunately, they have both passed on to a better place, but i still write to them.
Annnnd, I'm crying. Again. Every time, SoulPancake, every time. Please don't stop making these wonderful videos.

Yeah I was in tears watching this.
Thought I wouldn't cry but when the guy at the start said "Hi Grandpa", my tears exploded. I'd give anything to call either of my granddads and tell them how much they impacted my life but unfortunately, I left it too late. That's something I'll always regret not doing.
My face is soaked! What a beautiful moment each and every one of these people gave to those they love. This makes my heart feel happy, even moreso seeing these people be so full of love and appreciation. Thank you once again Soul Pancake, I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!!
I would say thank you to my Mom because when society say I'am a failure, she reminds me of everything I've accomplished and all of the things that I've overcome.

i was crying so much because i just realised that i never really told my grandparents how much i love them ..and now that they're gone .... i don't know.. it just makes me sad and regret that i didn't take my time for a second and just tell them even if they knew...

The actual Science of Happiness video made me want to do this but I never quite got around to it. This was the push I needed to Call and say thank you. And thank you, Soul Pancake.

This was amazingly beautiful. The ones that touched me most were the two that were directed to their grandfathers. As a granddaughter of a Parkinsons and Demntia patient,i wish I had the opportunity to tell my grandfather these beautiful things every single day . I cried right along with them. thank you,Soul Pancake.

TELL YOUR FAMILY!! TELL THEM ALL TODAY!!! I don't think any of us can ever say thank you to those people who the most to us enough. We can never say it enough. I wish I could've done this for my grandma before she passed. Go out and tell those people that you love them :)
we did this in cosmetology school recently and was amazing, yes i cried but it was the best feeling i felt in a long time, wonderful channel.

The two who wrote to their Grandpa are the ones who did me in... I wish my Grandmother was still alive, there's so much I would love to be able to tell her (crying as I type this)... I miss her so much... and I just hope he knew how much she meant to me.
