The actual room The Beatles played in when Pete was in the band it is the size of a one car garage and it's a torture test trying to see him play
unfortunately there is no web cam feed to those who can't get in and the one's that can squeeze can't see anything
Not a great sync as the phone kept dropping frames but the Pete Best film more than makes up for it
in 2019 International Beatleweek are running bus trips to the Casbah ....recommended the Casbah Tour if you are in the area to see both the rooms The Beatles & The Quarreymen once played in (the other is even smaller !!!) ....not so BestFest as you can see it's a real endurance test
cons : Pete didn't sing (used to in The Beatles) did not even introduce his band, or tell any stories or even say a word
There was no webcam feed ........and hardly any air in there !!

Looks like a small venue so the mix was never going to be perfect. Overall, I quite enjoyed the song.. apart from the cymbal. Well done Pete, glad you're still doing at bit 👍

All you hear from Best is his annoying cymbals. You do not hear his bass drum. His usual problem. The bass drum beat is a key in a small combo. It must be audible. Makes a tremendous difference. Ringo's bass drum was loud and steady. Best was simply not a good drummer. The beat from his bass drum is not heard.
He was sacked cause he wasn’t good enough! He should just stop !
Another reason why the Beatles fired him.
Yeah, honestly, and I'm not trying to be cruel here, Pete Best is a lousy drummer. The tempo pushes and pulls everywhere, the drum fills all come out and land early or late on the cymbals, oh boy... The whole song drags and is completely lifeless.
