don't pry it with a screwdriver man! you'll scratch the plastic. use a plastic card or spudger for that

Excellent video. My question is: can I put SATA 2.5" SSD instead of the MV stick.

Replace the SSD? When you replaced it? What kind of SSD?

Is the "storage bay" cable that you disconnected, compatible with 2.5 in SATA SSDs? I had hoped the T570 would allow for both standard NVME and SATA SSDs at the same time... Bah.

The cable is not directly compatible with a 2.5 SATA SSD, however there are compatible adapters that can be used for this. Regards

Hi! Please what should you do if the Lenovo Thinkpad t570 external battery is not detected but the internal battery works just fine??

Does the battery hold any charge? do you see any activity when the charger is connected. My guess is that the external battery is defective. Try swapping the battery and let me know how you get on. Regards

Check BIOS/UEFI setup .. some Lenovo's have option to disable battery.

The T570's have a slight design flaw with the back cover. Initially it helped with tamper detection but also make SSD's not perform well. Go back to the video at 3.52, you will notice some plastic protrusion next to the screw. Use a nose shaped pliers to break that of and it should resolve the issue. Let me know how you get on. Regards
