I can’t even call mine hot flashes! They are continual. Throughout the entire day. With only a few brief periods of not having one. I feel feverish all day long. The internal heat & sweat is absolutely miserable! So uncomfortable. Worst than any cramps I ever had.

Oh dear! I hope you can speak with your Dr about options to help like HRT, or alternatives if that doesn't suit you.

Excellent video! I have that pain in my chest, that I already check with my heart doctor. I'm only waiting for my Echo Stress with Dubotamine and then I can discard any heart issue to start excercising again and with my HRT therapy. Thank you!

Hi Doc, Thanks for the upload my hot flashes subsided greatly when I introduced roasted soya powder in my morning tea, I also started red maca powder and pumpkin seed powder none of these change the taste of my tea and it really helped. Just adding the powders to my tea made a huge difference. Of course I had never had any soy before this time so maybe my body was sensitive to it.

Hi, I came to find solutions for eliminating hot flashes. I started pre-menopause, hot flashes at age 44. I don’t I suffer night sweats Thank God. I am now 58 and still experience hot flashes so it’s been way over 11 years😒 I’m wondering if hot flashes last forever or do they ever go away😭😭

For some women they go away after some months - others have had them over 5 -7 years after bleeding stopped. It varies.

    Greetings,
Questions: 🤔Given that we are generally robust, extremely fertile women, could it be that we have been targeted to go through our menopause earlier in being given, possibly engineered immunisations at birth or in puberty in high school, villages, etc, to prevent us having more children?
Considering that through the early 1900s, or was it the late 1800s, gynecologist in the West, painfully preformed many experiments on our fellow sisters, to arrive in terms of so-called gynecological knowledge, where they are today in so intimately knowing the reproductive organs and its functions in women - do you think this could be the case of why we menopause earlier?🤔
Another historical reflection - So, fertile were we, that we were bred and far into our advance ages pregnant simultaneously even seeing our grandchildren being born, that in reflecting on this fact - it seems 'incredibly' strange that nowadays, we are deemed to be the women that go through our menopause early! Hmm

Why did you say for “black women”?
Isn’t menopause symptoms the same for ALL races?

    • @AskAwayHealth
      @AskAwayHealth  11 месяцев назад +5

      Hi, thanks for asking!
I go into more details about this, which you'll see when you watch the full video, but studies suggest some differences among different races in menopause experience - even though the symptoms are universal.
This is also not unusual. It happens in other conditions, like fibroids, for instance.
Highlighting the experience in black women helps us specifically understand how the condition may affect us, and we can deal with it better.

I’m a black woman and our culture the majority loves spicy food! unlike some other races prefer bland food,
Spices can definitely heat up your system triple times with hot foods.
Also for many people in general all races alcoholic & sugar is consumed a lot through parties, baking & holidays.
or everyday. I know my body than any doctor and I know what triggers the hot flashes making them 10 times worse!
I drink zero alcohol because even a few sips of wine will instantly set me on fire til the very next day. sugar and spicy food are the same so I stay away!
Stay clear of these things including bread products and see won’t your symptoms improve. I used to get hot flashes and night sweats back to back but I cut out all this bad stuff and now I drink Moringa smoothies.
I still get them but it’s not as severe, it may last a minute rather than 5 minutes or longer.
Here’s another thing, the minute you feel one coming on you don’t want to go into panic mode! this is what I use to do, now I take deep breaths and not focus on what’s happening, it’s sort of like you are reprogramming your brain to turn off the hypothalamus system. and thirdly, I’ve been using Estroven complete and I will normally go symptom free for like 3 or 4 months then it comes back, which sucks! But I’m managing because I don’t want the pharmaceutical drugs in my system

Ah. I had the same question. I stopped the video at that specific spot to read comments. The explanation was nice enough, and I'm sure my extra sensitivity could be chalked up to the reason why I came here seeking help in the first place, but I feel excluded. Changing that one phrase would open your audience up a lot more.
