Oh I need that right now. Had been sick about a week and a half, getting better but still have coughing fits. It is so annoying and exhausting 😑. I stopped taking the over the counter meds. as I didn't want to be on them more than 2 weeks. Very interested in this topic 👌. Thank you 😊.
I had a cough with extreme mucus. I saw my GP three times. I saw a short RUclips video about Thyme tea. The prescriptions were ineffective. The thyme tea worked quickly. I now drink it at least once a week.
Fantastic show on thyme Erick! Every show manages to provide some tantalizing tidbits that temporarily staves off the desire to dive more deeply into the subject! Take care.
It's quite hardy, but you have to get it past a certain stage of growth for it to endure. And yes, it can only handle a certain level of cold so it would probably need to be protected if it's consistently getting below freezing.

Been sick with a cough and some dripping, tickling of the throat lately I think due to inhaling wood dust and drywall dust. Now, got GOUT flare in my ankle! Wasn't expecting to hear that Thyme may be able to help. But really what got my attention the most was it may help with Tinnitus??? I got that over 4 years ago following a severe Sinus infection-the worst one of my life. Still have the "hissing" sound of tinnitus, mostly in my left upper ear or left brain. Very annoying. Needless to say, going to try some thyme to add to my arsenal, like Magnesium Glycinate. Thanks for the info.
Wow I didn't know that thyme was good for so many things 😀😀😀😀😀 Thank you sooo much for this ❤❤❤❤❤ fabulous editing and presentation as always 👍👍👍👍👍Haha nice touch the dirty dancing scene at the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow so many benefits my lovely friend Erick. Everything I needed to know and learned for sure thanks to you and again your informative and entertaining ways makes me learn it much better my dear friend. Thanks so much for sharing The Benefits of Thyme and Thyme Tea. Surly learned a lot today. Thanks to you always my friend. Nicely presented as usual . Thanks for your hard work Irene. 💜🍃🍵👌
Does it sound Knotty? Not really 🙂 Did not know any of that about time...cool! More people should use it but, "Ain't nobody got thyme for that!" Hope you are well. Great info! Will you get back to this side of the pond for the holidays?
Naughty naughty. Love it. I use Thyme essential oil on the feet to fight infections. It will burn your skin if you place it anywhere else. Good stuff. Thank you my friend. Peace, Love, Namaste, Laterrrrrrrrrrs
Cheers Erick - oh definitely do not upset Mrs Erick!!! I never realised it was good for coughs - I wonder if it would be good for my asthma, as that manifests as a cough. Hmmm food for thought! When I was little I remember my mother having to "paint" the back of my tongue with purple stuff for some sort of infection and I'm sure it was glycerine and thymol. Boy did it taste good! I don't think I was supposed to slurp it off though. Probably my favourite herb of all time for adding to food. We dried so much of our thyme that we still have a couple of jars left - never thought to put it in a tea.
Boy Erick, I thought those benefits would never end! Now I am going to have to get serious about getting Thyme to grow. Thanks for the great info.
Me too! I love thyme, I have two pots going for a couple years now.

Haven't used thyme in tea before, but will soon. Very entertaining and informative, as always!
Thanks so much! I like thyme tea a lot. I will often have it with other herbs or alone.
I prefer thyme as a rub for chicken or as flavoring in soup, but I will definitely mention it to those I know with persistent coughing.
It's great in many foods too! You got that right.
I did not know this about thyme. But it makes sense now that I think of it.
If you try it let me know. I'm always happy to hear how it actually works for people.

Does Elton John know that pot of thyme stole his glasses lol 😂?
Thyme is very sneaky that way. That, or Elton bequeathed them to him because he loves thyme tea.
Im obsessed with lemon thyme
It is great stuff.

Yeah, essential oils are tricky. Gotta use them right. :)
Baking soda may be better. I use it all the time. Sprinkle into socks then voila
We have thyme growing in our garden, so no excuse for not putting it in my teacup🐶🐾🐺👍
Darn tootin'!
I’m gonna give my lil shigella some thyme tea. It’s growing on me as a pet name.
