Hi, Maybe this will help someone out there. We have been using these a couple of years now. We have 2 services with about 1 hour in between and these do not get recharged in between. They are normally left plugged in all week and sometimes are used for rehearsals or mid week service then plugged back in(transmitters and receivers). They are usually used 30 min to an hour for each service we're a little free sometimes. 3 singers are using them. Here's how they are set up. We have the PreSonus StudioLive 32. The aux mixes are set to each in ear user and the can each control their mix whether wired or wireless in ear using their phone. Most Mixers can do this now. On our stage rack/box we have the Behringer HA8000 V2 8-channel Headphone Mixing/Distribution Amplifier connected to all the assigned in ear channels. The output can go to a wired in ear usually for the musicians that don't move much. The transmitters are plugged into this for the appropriate in ear mix. Because singers change almost every week. We re-assign position 1,2 or 3 on their phone so they can control their mix that day. You can get around this with different mixer scenes/presets but its pretty quick to just reassign it. Getting rid of stage monitors was a battle but once they were gone the sound in the room was much easier to mix and they never can complain they can't hear themselves or something else because they can just adjust it. AJ thanks for helping churches around the world hope this helps too.
Regarding the charging, just connect them to a smart plug that's on a schedule so they will be charged and ready for services without over charging. Also, do you think the receivers will be safe from accidental button presses that change the channels? Is there a way to lock the channel in once set?
For better range, can I plug the reciever to my digital snake closer to the stage? My board is very far from the stage, and I'm afraid the range won't work? Any suggestions and thoughts?
Since these are mono only, if running through a P16 will you still have the ability to pan inputs left and right? For example I have singers on my left panned to my left ear and singers on my right panned to the right side. Will I still be able to do this?
Hello, quick question, let’s say I have 6 receivers and one transmitter and ofcourse I have all of them on channel 1 for example. If on one receiver I want just voice and guitar can that be done ? And on a different reciever Can that person only have let’s say bass and vocals ?
I have this but the single version… I am able to set all the vocals- piano and clicks etc. But my question is - with the group one, will each person be able to do the same? Right now - they r wired individually and via their own bus - they can set their own in ears via the x32q app on their phones. Can they still do the same with this unit
If you have the transmitter plugged directly Into the back of a mixer (especially a digital one), you will probably get interference. Best practice is to use short (or long) extension XLR cable to keep distance (a metre or so is plenty) from your mixer etc. No distortion with mine, very clean output, even with Roland V-Drums which give the U4 a proper workout 🙂

Thanks and awesome setup.
YOOOOO, Dexters Laboratory was my childhood right there
This system is not recommended in setups with wireless microphones. had so many problems with interference that we finally exchanged the in-ear.
What in-ear monitoring system do you have?
@@f.poindexter now we use the LD Systems U508 IEM HP and on Problems with Wireless MIC and the In-Ear.
Great video. Thanks
You bet

I think it should as You have to hold down the channel button for 2 seconds to change the channel
For better range, can I plug the reciever to my digital snake closer to the stage? My board is very far from the stage, and I'm afraid the range won't work? Any suggestions and thoughts?
Yes as this is what I did at my church

I haven't tried that but let me check

Yes it can. That is how I had these setup at my church
You need multiple transmitters. One for every different mix.
Do all the receivers on one transmitter get the same mix? So for personal mixes would I need to get another transmitter?
The mix is the same for all receivers connected to the given transmitter

Yes you can but it will be shared with all those on the same channel
These are junk! Nothing but interference and distortion! Sending mine back for a refund!
Very strange, we have been using for over a year with other ministries without any issues
@@AJaytheCEO he’s probably only using 1 channel lol

@@PhatSimey this is a GREAT idea. Gonna try this out!!
