Thanks for the video. Another tip is that the plastic battery case is also plastic and can just be pushed to press the button. No need to unscrew anything or even use tools. Just push the plastic casing and it will push the button.

For some reason the TH bounces when i take off then try to land softly, i have to disarm it close to landing height otherwise it just does this weird hopping thing when trying to land. Any suggestions on how to make it land normally without hopping? Thanks again!

Damn Dude, been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. My Tinyhawk 2 wouldn't connect to my computer with the USB charging cables I had, so I couldn't go into BetaFlight Configurator and set it up the way another video showed to do it, but you got me going! Thanks!!

I’ve got a Radiomaster TX16S. Will this procedure work with the Radiomaster ? I’ve tried a bind process from a different poster and I can’t get my Tiny to start up. The process seems pretty similar to yours but the other guy wants me to go into Betaflight. Any ideas ? Thanks for posting.
I'm not familiar with that exact model of TX. I only use QX7, X-LITE, and DJI MODE 2. Doesn't seem like it would be that much different but you might need to double check that your TX is compatible with your RX. Betaflight option does work as well as manual. Hopefully this helped a little. Happy flying.

What is the best radio to upgrade to and easiest to just bind and fly without messing around with settings im new to fpv and don't have a computer for all that i have ordered the tiny hawk free style and the tiny hawk s i hate the radio that came with the tiny hawk rtf kit too small for my hands any help would appreciated sir have happy safe holidays

You don't need to unscrew anything. Connect it to Betafight, go to the command line interface, and enter bind_rx spi (note the space between bind_rx and spi). The LEDs then show it is in binding mode. Then simply complete the binding process on your transmitter.

As much as I would like to say no I don't know what you bought exactly. If you have the BNF FRSKY version of this then you're most certainly 100% ready with what you have.

ok, start off with the transmitter on and in bind mode first. plug in the battery and then press the bind button on the fc. hit it again on the tx. reboot the quad and you should be in business. only on d8 mode and this is just the qx7 frsky. other tx may have other variables.

hmm. I guess that's sort of the quickest without a computer? With a computer, just connect drone to Betaflight go to CLI and type "bind_rx spi" then press bind on remote. That's it. No need to remove screws or press buttons. :)
WAYYY to confusing and fast. I fix cancer treatment machines but this rocket science is confined to a niche that makes it almost impossible to understand. If I counted, there seems to be 3, 000 different variations on how to fly a drone when there are only pitch, roll yaw, and throttle. Strange... No help for beginners who are worthy???

Might need to go over the rates or make sure the esc is configured correctly.

Retry it. It may take a couple. You'll know it worked when the light is solid. What mode did you use?

I don't know exactly what your setup is but this quad is but this whoop is only made to support FRSKY in D8 mode. Check your hardware.
Qx7 access transmitter does not have d8 mode. Unless you install a xjt module.

There's a way to do it through betaflight. I don't have a video on that yet but it has to do with CLI tab if you want to look it up.

It's way easier to just copy and paste an existing model and just rename it. Also do not use any metal tool to touch a powered board!
