The only fluids that hurt the bionic dupes are the water-based fluids (water, polluted water, salt water, brine). I have tested it and found that they can be fully submerged in oil, petroleum, super coolant, viscogel, and gunk with no ill effects, other than the typical debuffs (soggy feet, sopping wet, irritated eyes).
21:25 Bionic dupes also gain athletics from all boosters, +2 each (suit wearing being unique in its +5). So a maxed out bionic dupe easily has over 20 athletics. +8 directly from skills, +16 from maximum number of 8 'regular' boosters, totaling 24, even without a suit wearing booster (and the complex processing skill gives the penalty reduction as well, so suit wearing isn't needed for that either!) I still opt for the suit wearing booster as my default (along with strength as the first pick) so I can have generalist dupes that I can swap between whatever jobs I want without losing much value, making them very flexible to fit whatever needs the colony needs at the time, without hiring extra dupes
Welcome back Echo! Hope you had a good rest. On toward this challenge, I believe when choosing Bionic Dupes, you should always prioritize their negatives. The Booster that they come with can be swapped out at any time; you have to just make it. Their negatives however are permanent.
Bionics do actually not need beds. It is possible to remove all sleep schedule spots and nothing bad happens. You stop getting chips from them but not defragmenting does not hurt them in any way. In contrast sending the newer bionics to sleep all the time with small breaks to grab power and change oil produces extra chips. If you pair two with schedules not overlapping they make surprisingly reliable lamps. The ladder beds are quite nice for them, too, because they do not consume outside oxygen while sleeping meaning airflow and the atmosphere in general does not matter in bionic bedrooms.
18:30 I like the dedication to vaccum the place, but once CO2 is out chlorine will push the rest out by the to anyway, much cheaper on power and building
Happy to have you back. I have also started the new year out with a sinus infection...for the second year in a row! Hopefully this one won't last 7 months like last year's!
Eco power banks DO have an 'expiration" - moisture. If they get wet - they eventually blow up. Yup. Li-Ion at it's finest. They leave a junk eco bank that I don't think has any use. Neat. (Don't ask me how I know this) for auto lighting i like to use the Dupe sensor too - as it is an 'area' - where if dupe is in the area, it sends a green signal- thus automating lights, good in toilets too, and doesn't break floors. (can also be placed on walls)
You already have the steam from the steam vent being pumped into the sauna with a gas pump. Why not seal the steam vent room and relocate the high pressure gas vent to the bottom of the sauna? If you put a thin layer of oil or petrol on the bottom of the sauna (below the gas vent overpressure, of course) you can get the maximum use out of your gas pump. Then, all you'd need is an atmo sensor to make sure the gas pump is working efficiently.
@@PaddyTheGamerPop I have no idea what melted. Is anybody else concerned about using lead inside the drecko farms? My drecko farms are substantially to hot for that and I suspect that will overheat in the future. Not actually melt but that was the only thing I could think of.
you should consider change the drecko ranches to glossy drecko ranches: you can use pip ranches to feed the mealwoods and use all of the excess plastic created in a plastic sour gas boiler, to get more water, because .... more water, more dupes. or I least will like to see the maths of it is worth enough

Welcome back Echo! ❤ I hope you had a great vacation it was completely deserved!

Reading the title's like:
The sauna is finished...yay
Ish...god damnit echo
I wish more people cared about ONI. Only youtuber ever that I've bought merchandise from.
11:40 sounds like someone's child likes Lama Lama Red Pajama books like mine 😅
Yay! the man, the legend ECHO is back!!!!!!
Welcome back Clay! You were missed. You have restored my sanity!

17:28 "Building melted" Uh-oh...
Hope you’re feeling better, Echo. Thanks for the updates!

Welcome back from vacation!
LOVING this series, the base is really coming together. I could watch this indefinitely
New episode lets gooo i just finished binge watching this series and the mini base series too!
Happy to have you back. I have also started the new year out with a sinus infection...for the second year in a row! Hopefully this one won't last 7 months like last year's!
Always a joy to see a project completed, hope you get better soon! ❤
Great to see you back from your vacation Echo! Hope you had fun, and I'm game for more CHAOS!

You can put the destroyed eco banks into the rock crusher to get the Abyssalite back and make a new battery
Glad to see you back, can't wait to go back to binging your streams haha. Hope you're doing alright and enjoyed the break
OH MY GOODNESS WHY SO LONG? IM EMOTIONAL DEPENDANT ON YOU ECHO! But kiddings aside. Glad u back
omg i undestand now. hope the best for you echo.
Good to see you back, Echo!
*starts video* man echo sounds great!
*echo* I've had a sinus inffection
*me* oh.....
I have found putting all my bionics on a sleep schedule that has them sleep in the first half the day makes planning around the light issue.
Classy Echo mistake detected at 12:50. You still are putting your gas element sensor beneath your gas pump meant to vent out the Carbon Dioxide.
Oh how i have waited
Finnaly a new episode

Holy cow. It sounds like a AI Echo. The voice is so similar but wrong. lol, how is nobody talking about this.
Can't wait for the not insulated dreko farm to make some caos around.
Um, excuse me, but I would like to know what building MELTED at 17:27 and why Echo didn't react to it lol
I immediately paused and searched the comments for the answer. All I found was you, fellow seeker...

OMG I didnt know if I would ever get a dupe, And a bionic one at that. AWESOME!

Don't dreckos need hydrogen to grow their stuff back? Or are you just planning to use them for meat?
Could use a door compressor to move the steam in the sauna instead of the pumps
Oh my...new content.
9:35: where is the sheering station?
Dreckos need hydrogen to grow scales. I get all my plastic from Glossy Dreckos.
Auto sweeper will load batteries if dupe labor is a concern
The critter drop off, what are the settings for em? And you plan on a automated trap or a pickup to feed the stables with new drekos?
why do u use all auto sweepers and rails when u have over a hundred dupes?
What have you done to Echo? Your voice sounds different. It's an imposter!!
Pls don't throw the video on the editing room floor, Echo. :(
Took long enough
