Ok, I am his mom, and I can tell you this razor rocket has gone through three boys and has never gone 20 mph or more. The battery wears out quickly and is not that powerful. He is not in anymore danger than riding a bike without training wheels which he was doing at three years old. He was never injuried or harmed in riding his razor rocket. He, however, broke his leg going down a slide with his brother. Accidents can happen even with the most cautious of circumstances!
I think it is amazing that he is riding at such a young age, keep it up! But please put pants on at least, if you could get some cheap used gear for him. My 5 year old cousin got a horrible burn on him leg from wearing just shorts. He rides with us on the same dirt bike/quad and his dad thought it was ok to put him in shorts and take him places on the dirt bike that he wasn't ready for yet (high speeds, steep drop offs, etc) and right when they stopped he, obviously not ready and freaking out wanted off ASAP and got off on the wrong side, touching his leg to the exhaust cooking it pretty badly. He still has a scar from it and we have used it to teach him to respect these machines and never even think about riding without all of his gear on. (he will even get in his gear and then ask if we can go ride sometimes) We all call them toys in my family but non of us, including him now, treat them as such. Please be careful out their guys, sure it's a lot of fun but only until someone has to go to the hospital because of a burn or broken bone. Safe travels and the best of luck to you all!
What a tank! I bet he tears it up now! Some kids are just more advanced than others. "Haters gonna hate" :P Kudos to you for letting your son LIVE and experience things that interest him! All of these people put their children in aluminum machines that travel upwards of 70 mph, on a daily basis, hed in by two little belt buckles! Every parent parents different. You don't ever need to reason with people about how you do things! I have a crazy little 19 month old that is all about riding. AWESOME!
Tiffany Kellers, one of my best suggestions is to ignore all the haters. Stay stong. I think your son, for a 2yr old rode pretty well. And he is really cute
To those who are are saying "electric bikes are for babies, get a gas one", you're aware that the kid riding this thing is only two, right? Hate it when people get high and feel the need to post comments. Makes them look like idiots.
omg that was so funny hahahahahah, no wonder he didnt want to go round again lol, i think its good he learns these things early in life, he was 2 and at the end off his 30 sec ride from hell, he had more sence than u (mum)
here I am in bed with my girlfriend and our 18 months old boy looking at your video and arguing about getting him a pocket rocket, she said "don't even think about it" I said "there's nothing to think about it", I am getting one. Ride safe.
the kid is 2 years old...or should he have been on electric while he was still crawling and breast feeding? to say "electric is for babies get gas" is kinda ignorant dont ya think?
pants at least but i wouldnt have him on there without gloves either... he almost bailed at the end. good kid but shes pretty ballsy putting this up on the youtube. be proud he can ride but be more careful next time.
+EGGWARD I don't remember how fast this thing went but when I was like 8 I had one of these and my dad let my friend ride it and he busted his mouth open and he lost a couple teeth, Blood everywhere on the concrete. These things are pretty dangerous, I think that's why they don't sell them at walmart anymore.
Good job little man! And a really nice bike you got there.

The ONLY thing I see wrong with this is he's only wearing shorts. If you gonna teach umm young teach umm right. - Jason Lapp
