I think the pinkish/red tone is to symbolize Wanda’s magic breaking the sword.

Possibly, but it looks like he has some of those hues in the clean version as well🤷🏼‍♂️

You should also put a normal 1/6 figure side by side to show the size difference....

The battle damaged version is the definitive version for me. Especially with battle damaged Mark 85. Iconic duo.

The more time I spend with it the more I think you’re right.

i'm glad you're honest about liking the clean version, it doesn't get a lot of love.

I def don’t think you need both, but I don’t think you can go wrong either way. Just depends on personal preference. Thanks for watching as always!

Hello Graeme! Thank you for this review! I wish Hot Toys would consider having two-pack releases when it comes to standard (clean) and battle damage releases. For example, I would happily pay a little more for a two-pack Thanos Endgame release that includes a clean version with battle damaged (BD) components like additional BD head sculpt, BD gauntlet with bendable arm, and BD armor. It's hard for me to shell out $400 for clean Thanos and an additional $400 for the battle damage version. I wish Hot Toys would release a combo package (clean + battle damage) and price it in the $475 to $500 range. I believe the collector community would jump all over that opportunity :)

Thanks for watching and for the feedback Luis! That’s a great idea about coming out with one figure that has swap able pieces or a two pack. I def don’t see the need to keep both when they are this expensive. I have my clean version up for sale cause I can’t justify having both.

man for the amount of money that we pay for these figures, we should always be getting the absolute best of everything, or at least an attempt to do so. the way the base just starts lacking in detail and then just completely nothing at all is embarrassing. you have a fantastic figure standing on a mediocre base that looks like it was custom made on ebay. will it still do the job? of course but at this price range its the little things that matter and we should not settle for sub par

I agree. Hopefully InArt continues to push Hot Toys to be better!
