This is for me the definitive version of Thanos. I have the GOTG version and it is ok but is more toy like in appearance but the armor looks really cool. My main problem with that version has always been that I think he is undersized. I was tempted by the Infinity War version because he is properly scaled and looks very good but I wanted an armored Thanos so the Endgame version checked all of my boxes. I did not want to wait for the Battle damaged version because prefer the appearance of the Infinity Gauntlet (more like what I remember from the comics as a kid) also I feel that the Endgame version already comes with enough weathering on the armor.
I have this version of Thanos also. I picked him up from Hong Kong so very, very cheaply, a lot of the newer Marvel figures from Hot Toys are not selling too well at the moment so now is the time to jump onboard. To me, this is the version of Thanos i wanted the most, fully armoured and intimidating, I think the scale may be a little oversized compared to the rest of the 1/6th scale Hot Toys Marvel figures but apart from that i think he's an amazing figure and looks so imposing on the shelf. @@thejediknightswatch I think mainly its because of this particular phase of The Avengers being over, i could be wrong though but i think makes sense. I would imagine though once the new phase of Marvel gets up and running fully the figures will be more desirable😎
@@bobavader1862 I agree with you that the slower sales are most likely tons with the lull in the MCU right now and will probably change soon. Also the Disney + shows may reignite interest in figures from the MCU. That said another reason that sales may be slower for Marvel figures is that Star Wars related stuff is so hot right now.
I don’t mind him having the Infinity Gauntlet instead of the Nano gauntlet. Makes him look more comic accurate, plus he did have it on with the armor in Infinity War so it’s kinda(?) movie accurate, just the wrong movie lol

I've had both this one and the battle damaged and this one is the ultimate Endgame thanos in my opinion. I found the headsculpt on the battle damaged one was too shiny. I just purchased this thanos again cause I regrettably sold mine and I can't wait till it comes
I got this for Father's Day and I'm opening it tomorrow. I wish it had the nano gauntlet...that was really a crappy thing for hot toys to do to us. I won't be buying the battle damaged thanos. This one is already battle damaged. LOL. Great review. Thanks!

I would have to agree. I love this version of Thanos the most.
