Tried them because of this video. Was a big mistake. The worst prop firm I had to deal with in years. Server always down with terrible execution time (over 30 seconds per execution) with so many people complaining in the discord chat regarding this and the support just pretending that everything is fine! Never again I will use this firm. Just another scam firm who hate traders.

feel free to give them another chance.. I started trading with them about a month ago.. and have had zero issues.. in fact the targets are lower, and overall service and quality is more than adequate.

Hello i have a question maybe silly but i noticed @6:10 your myfxbook says demo! Is all funded accounts demo? How are they making profit and how do they pay you if its a demo?
One or two funding firms use demo accounts, some copy those onto live accounts.
Most decent firms use real servers however.

@@OfficialZeusMusic Nope not really. Firms like FTMO also do this. It's very similar to A-Booking but it's safer because over 50% of funded traders still lose money so they have to be really careful about A-booking everyone who is funded, instead they evaluate the data from funded traders (profitable traders) and pass it over to their live servers where they trade with real funds. It then begs the question, what if I get funded and my trades are not passed over to their live servers (A-book), will my payout be processed?... And I honestly don't have the answer to that but I guess they have to make it happen somehow by the profits they make from trading with their live funds or from challenge fees.
Anyways, the most important thing when it comes to prop firms is if they're A-booking traders or not and if they aren't then they solely process withdrawals from challenge fees and this is just like a pyramid scheme so it's always gonna be a big NO.

Great vid and I agree Maven is a great company unlike FCFF.
I would disagree with the way you calculated which is easier 1 or 2 step.
For example say you have the standard 10% DD with 10% and 5% step step targets You have 10% to make 10% and then the you have 10% to make 5%
Now say you have a 1 step with a 10% DD and a 15% target, after you make the first 10% you have 20% DD (your profit + exiting DD) to make the remaining 5%
The 1 step challenge has a trailing drawdown.

Nice review. You tried to be as objective as possible. However, giving Maven a B for passability similar to FCFC, which has a limited time limit, is not acceptable to me. Or at least give them a B+. You know, something that is not an A but also not a B like the firms with time limits.
You will note in the review I stated that I wish I had made the scale more broad for this reason.
I also stated that Maven is the easiest to pass so far. And further noted that there’s no time limit etc.
FCFF has a larger DD and smaller target.

@@SamKBTradingwith all due respect, do you think these firms that are copy and pasting the same models using the same broker and giving unrealistic discounts isn’t going to some form of issues in the long run?
Also majority of the traders now are ICT traders or SMC traders-they not gonna touch Maven. Hunters too big of a dickhead and I’m not even a cultist.
Would rather look at thefundedtrader or SmartProp. Checkout the majority of interviews on there. Atleast they don’t act like investigators or insult people or worst-pair up with MambaFX like it makes sense.
