Little German Wichtel | Needle Felting Tutorial

  • You will need very few materials but here is a suggested list:
    ** Thin Wire (such as flexible steel wire from the Flock Box) or pipe cleaner
    **Scraps of wool batts in different colours - including a skin colour (3-5g for each colour- minimum 3 colours)
    ** Beard wool such as curls or tops
    ** 3mm black glue in eyes (optional) as you can needle felt the eyes - I will demo both
    ** Lanolin (from Flock Box)
    !TOOLS: medium #38 and fine #40 felting needles, felting mat, scissors (to cut wire and wool), wire cutters (if you prefer these to cut wire)

      @@susanprendergast7251 the wichtel is similar to the small gnome in the Making Fairy Folk book, if that helps.
