Veery nice ! In my mind, pictures appear. A road movie introduction. Tumbleweeds. A faded old gold metallic Buick at a shut down gas station, heat waves trembling over the hot sun blazed asphalt.. Beautiful sound with those pickups in that guitar, and very well played sir. 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yeah the Lollars beat out the Mojo Tones GFS and most others I have a set of Malinosky GFs that I'm really wanting to try out but haven't had a chance yet Killer guitar there Going to be my next build since I have a 65 MM neck to work with Blood stuff Lance
GIBKEL. I would say yes they probably are surface mounted. I have 2 original vintage Japanese gold foils which are mounted on top of the pickguard. These Lollar pups look identical. Also same reply to Luke Maynard who asked the same question 11 months ago.
Hi, I am getting an amazing Novo Miris J guitar. It comes with either Lollar Gold Foils or Fralin Noiseless P-90s. Not sure which I should pick. Hope you aren't fully biased toward the Golds, but any suggestions?
@@sucram1993 it should be here this fall. That about 12-14 months. Should be a killer guitar! I can't wait. If you've played a Novo Miris J, these beat every other major brand, hands down! I love these, so I'm getting mine with every option I prefer. I decided to go with gold foil pickups
Really nice tasty playing complemented by some of the best tones I have ever heard. Could you please provide information about the amp used, amp settings, pedals and/or onboard effects, compression, microphone, recording, sound engineering and any information I may have neglected to request which affected the tone since there are many elements that work in combination.
Lance I just wet my paints. Now That's tone.. Love the guitar also.
Holy Cow.. What great tones.. !!!!
WOW!!! These pickups sound as fs they have tons of hyper-expensive effects in them, played through a studio quality recording/playback system.

Insane sounds!
damn, this could be my favourite demo
Good God, that's a gorgeous jazzmaster!
Very nice on 2 and 4. Didn't expect that.
......Holey - Moley - that's my dream sound!!
when the extra gain hits...wow
Wow, insane tone.
Amazing sound. Do they mount straight onto the body? Or do you have to rout the guitar top special to fit them?
Can you please tell me about the Guitar, itself. I really like the understated paint, wit the subtle paisley!
Incredible tone and - as always - fantastic playing. Very tasteful! Please let us know what amp you were using. Thanks!
Metroplex
Wow, those sound really good.
Sounds incredible! A lot of that is the player though. ;)
I know it's been asked before, but what tuning are you playing in? Thanks and take care!
That'd be Open C Minor tuning: www.howtotuneaguitar.org/tuning/open-c-minor-tuning/
Neil Jolly Thanks save me five hours searching for that
My tone junkie senses went haywire
Man! You still have that guitar?
The pickups are 180 degree rotated compared to the pic on the Lollar website. On purpose? Nevertheless, a realy awesome tone!
The pole pieces so very little work on these pickups so mounting directions is totally optional (according to website)
That is Tone! - Awesome!
amazing guitar
what are you tuned in?
Whoa, what OD pedal were you using?
Are those surface mounted with no route?

I checked out Train of Misery.
Whoa! Great song and what a great band!
Now that is cool!!

Watch out for this guy. I've bought a few things reviewed by him, and they sounded NOTHING like the demo. Embelished Audio refinement.
Well, you will still play and sound like you.. so there’s that
Are these the GFS gold foils? Great sound bud.
never mind, I got excited and posted before the end.
Ohh my God!
So this is purgatory? . .
Think I might just stay 😌
🚬🥃🎚📻🎵🧲👍
Sick.
big voice pickups
Yea I could see these in a nice spanish cedar Tele!
'Big tones, wonderful tones' at the end was so Trump-like
