Fr. Ripperger has a great love for his subjects each time he gives a talk. It comes through in his voice and enthusiasm as he speaks. He truly loves the message Christ brought us, the explanations of saints that went before us. We are blessed by God for the gifts Fr. Ripperger has been given by our Father in heaven. God is amazing, how can we not love Him for inspiring these intelligent men, Fr. Ripperger is such a wonderful vessel of the gifts given him by Our Lord God.

I teach high school religion and if I even remotely mention that something is wrong or objectively evil, the students and administration get in an uproar. I simply direct them to read the CCC to learn what the Church teaches (Sacred Tradition) and if they want to know what God has said, they should read their bibles (Sacred Scripture.) The Sacred Deposit/Deposit of Faith is comprised by both. If anyone has an issue that needs clarification, they should go to these two sources because sadly, too many of the current pastors have strayed from the Magisterium.

One of the Saints had seen children in limbo and relayed this. You can look it up from here if it interests you (presuming you may since you are at this channel plus your situation). This is a reference to the SJ constitutions, which said and still say that a member is forbidden to seek or allow others to seek for him any ecclesiastical honor or office, and that he may never accept any such thing other than when he is forced to do so under pain of mortal sin by a superior. Limbo is probably the lightest part of hell as a reminder to all those who are in conniving guilt and are probably swept up at the final judgement. God must have a plan for all the unborn and mentally challenged to reach a stature in heaven. Theyre probably there as a reminder of what life was cut off from them to those who are in the condemnation in hell, being at fault for them never having had the same possibilty and chance for what those having had and were not appreciative of what God had done for them while they were alive. Otherwise they would have honored God.

I will disagree with Fr. Ripperger on the issue of limbo being part of Hell. As far as I understand, Hell is TOTAL separation from God or DEATH. At such, souls in Hell have NO trace of LIFE within them and therefore they CANNOT be happy since, by sheer definition, happiness is a trait of LIFE. Thus, Dead souls CANNOT be happy and, again by sheer definition as taught by the Lord through His Church and in the Gospels, ALL souls in Hell are DEAD...ALL of 'em!

This sounds like you have private definitions for Hell. And for a soul. And for being dead.

@@seriouscat2231 You obviously did not read my post in its entirety. I CLEARLY stated that was God's and His Church's teachings, not mine! There's only ONE hell and its denizens are all DEAD!

@@archangelliii2536, I'm sorry I can't be less blunt here, but you are not smart enough to discuss these things. You fail to make a distinction where such distinction is mandated. And I am not referring to the actual doctrine. I'm referring to how you express whatever it is that you are trying to express. What you are saying, or rather the way you are saying it, makes it nonsensical. It does not help even if what you are trying to express is in accordance with Tradition.

@@XavierIsraelMatamoros Protestant is against the doctrine of Papal infallibility. Tradition is based on the past teachings of the Popes and Councils that are united with the Popes. This priest tries to avoid the elephant in the room which is how do you explain the Vatican II popes are apostates and all belong to another religion called Vatican II. His solution is to ignore the heretical teachings of the apostates and stick with the past teachings of the Church to avoid explaining how you reconcile the doctrine "the Pope is the measure of the Faith". He is avoiding the obvious issue of if these so called popes are valid if they are not even remotely Catholic.
