I teach high school religion and if I even remotely mention that something is wrong or objectively evil, the students and administration get in an uproar. I simply direct them to read the CCC to learn what the Church teaches (Sacred Tradition) and if they want to know what God has said, they should read their bibles (Sacred Scripture.) The Sacred Deposit/Deposit of Faith is comprised by both. If anyone has an issue that needs clarification, they should go to these two sources because sadly, too many of the current pastors have strayed from the Magisterium.

Seems that the last six popes have broken the papal oath by adhering to Vatican II where that set of documents has failed to uphold the teachings of the Church Fathers.

Hm. I wish he had given a source for the oath he said popes had to take. I recall seeing it said that it's a bit of a myth that they had to say this and there's no evidence for it, or if not that one, one that was somewhat like it.
Not a bit of myth. Evidence certainly does exist. "I vow to change nothing of the received Tradition..." Pope St. Agatho (678-681) Papal Coronation Oath, to be taken by all Roman pontiffs, showing that no Roman pontiff has the authority to contradict the Deposit of Faith, or to change or innovate upon what has been handed by to him by Sacred Tradition and his predecessors.
I will disagree with Fr. Ripperger on the issue of limbo being part of Hell. As far as I understand, Hell is TOTAL separation from God or DEATH. At such, souls in Hell have NO trace of LIFE within them and therefore they CANNOT be happy since, by sheer definition, happiness is a trait of LIFE. Thus, Dead souls CANNOT be happy and, again by sheer definition as taught by the Lord through His Church and in the Gospels, ALL souls in Hell are DEAD...ALL of 'em!

@@XavierIsraelMatamoros Protestant is against the doctrine of Papal infallibility. Tradition is based on the past teachings of the Popes and Councils that are united with the Popes. This priest tries to avoid the elephant in the room which is how do you explain the Vatican II popes are apostates and all belong to another religion called Vatican II. His solution is to ignore the heretical teachings of the apostates and stick with the past teachings of the Church to avoid explaining how you reconcile the doctrine "the Pope is the measure of the Faith". He is avoiding the obvious issue of if these so called popes are valid if they are not even remotely Catholic.

You know occult members don't like exorcist's. If fr ripp doesn't advertise where he is based out of, I'd not mention it... if I knew.
Hm. I wish he had given a source for the oath he said popes had to take. I recall seeing it said that it's a bit of a myth that they had to say this and there's no evidence for it, or if not that one, one that was somewhat like it.
Not a bit of myth. Evidence certainly does exist. "I vow to change nothing of the received Tradition..."
Pope St. Agatho (678-681) Papal Coronation Oath, to be taken by all Roman pontiffs, showing that no
Roman pontiff has the authority to contradict the Deposit of Faith, or to change or innovate upon what has been handed by to him by Sacred Tradition and his predecessors.
The remote rule is the source.
This sounds like you have private definitions for Hell. And for a soul. And for being dead.
@@seriouscat2231 You obviously did not read my post in its entirety. I CLEARLY stated that was God's and His Church's teachings, not mine! There's only ONE hell and its denizens are all DEAD!
@@archangelliii2536, I'm sorry I can't be less blunt here, but you are not smart enough to discuss these things. You fail to make a distinction where such distinction is mandated. And I am not referring to the actual doctrine. I'm referring to how you express whatever it is that you are trying to express. What you are saying, or rather the way you are saying it, makes it nonsensical. It does not help even if what you are trying to express is in accordance with Tradition.
Are you a theologian? What do Church Fathers say? How does the Church interpret the scriptures you refer to?
@@seriouscat2231 You focus on your FEEELINGS, and style, I will continue to focus on SUBSTANCE and the TRUTH, y' know what actually matters at the end of the day.
English is a terrible language to translate into.
No. Tradition is not above the authority the Pope. The Pope decides what is tradition
Sounds very protestant
Divine Revelation came through Tradition and Scripture. And no man can make Divine Revelation false
A pope cannot change doctrine. Period.
what? says who?
Fr Ripperger is a TERRIBLE public speaker -- half of what he says is almost incoherent -- He mumbles -- mumbles -- mumbles
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
