Skagway, Alaska Glacier Helicopter Tour

You can think of Glaciers as frozen rivers on the mountains, often in the process of melting. The helicopter ride itself is the biggest part of the appeal. You'll be flying between above the rocks (feels a bit like those flight simulators - like soaring in disney) witnessing a landscape that you probably won't be able to see unless you fly. My favorite sites were some lakes, with a very blue water, on our way back, as well as some green valleys where you can see some of the glacier ice melted into water and feeding some rivers, leading all the way back to Skagway.
