Yea it takes time to try out a new build, but right now is a good time for it since AH prices are low / reasonable. When you get geared up, LMK what you think of the build. Hey, I’m a new viewer who started watching your Unicum guides! I was wondering if you had quit WOT or if you intended to release new guides in the future?
I grew increasingly frustrated with Wargaming's game design decisions, which are overly influenced by driving pay-for-advantage. It's just hard for me to enjoy a game like that. Just by contrast, Throne and Liberty has pay-for-advantage mechanics or pay-to-get-geared-faster, in terms of being able to whale. But a F2P player (and I've been 100% F2P on the character in the video) can catch up with a whale, it just takes time. With WoT, by design, some tanks are simply vastly superior to others, and there's no closing that gap.
What sets or pieces would you recommend for a sentinel, I know this build is talked down on allot and isn't considered something viable in pvp but can you consider looking into this class and try to come up with something
I don't know enough about Sentinel (Greatsword / Staff) to feel confident making recommendations. I've tried whacky combos, e.g. Sword / Staff (Disciple), but have zero experience with Sentinel.
Why do you decide on 3 pieces of Shock commander over 2? I went with the helmet and chest, but I'm torn on going the pants as well. I rather have ebon roar pants. But the shock commander pants does have very high def stats. I might go shock commander helm and pants, then heroic chest again XD
You could stop with 2. I use Shock Commander's Visor because it provides a lot of Strength, and I like Cooldown Speed reduction. Shock Commander's legs are vastly superior to Ebon Roar legs in my build, so long as you can get to ~1600 melee evasion. The extra 140 Ranged Defense makes a massive difference, and I need the Strength on Shock Commander's to get to 70, which provides another 200 Ranged Defense. Are you able to reach 70 Strength with Heroic Armor of the Resistance? I couldn't.
Not yet, and I'm debating posting the gear I'm targeting. I've already looked through the T2 gear list on Maxroll and am planning on a Melee Evasion + Ranged Evasion build. The main thing I need to see is how viable the damage is, because I won't be getting the 2-pc Crit bonuses. I've also played around with the masteries calculator on gameslantern.com. I hope / think it may end up playing out like it did in T1: I do less damage (burst and sustained) than non-evasion builds, but my survivability is (much) better.
Not in Tier 1, sadly. There are only a handful of items with Ranged Evasion, and none that are heavy armor: tldb.info/db/items/page/1?filter_stats=range_evasion In Tier 2, there are items with both Melee Evasion and Ranged Evasion.
Make sure you don't have an ally targeted when you mean to cast them on yourself. Some people keybind a modifier, e.g. or when pressing a skill to have it cast on themselves, but I don't like pressing 2 keys for an ability - it's inefficient - so what I did is keybind a mouse side button to drop my friendly target. Then I cast the skill, so by default it casts on me.
Both are viable options and provide excellent burst. Here's the tradeoff: • Cursed Explosion with the single-target specialization has a cooldown for me of ~12 secs, whereas Judgement Lightning has a cooldown for me of ~24 secs • Judgment Lightning has RNG for the second use • Judgment Lightning with specialization deals AOE I find Cursed Explosion to be more reliable and usable much more frequently, so that's why I prefer it.

that server is dead
Soulfire?
It's 4th highest in population in NA West region, it's pretty much tied with the 3rd place server, and the top 3 servers are all Early Access:

There are still plenty of (good) players on Soulfire. Although some of the PVP guilds transferred to Crimson.
The servers are getting merged anyway so we'll all end up in the same place eventually.
@ it is? With crypt not being a cluster of chaos? Thats wild
Ever since the patch last week to add chests to Shadowed Crypt, there have been way more people going to Shadowed Crypt at night. It's been fun / crazy.
Is this considered a build heal? (to play in a group) or not at all?
It's not a full support build, but you can off-heal with it.
I tend to find in skirmishing that I can keep people up long enough for us to kill enemies.
