Haha yeah, this was a big project for such a small thing! The hardest part was getting them together, but after that not too bad of an install! But glad this video can help!
Just bought new fenders and realized the stock liners weren't going to work. Liners are sold out everywhere except for these amazon ones. I NEVER would have been able to get them on without this video, so thanks! They were a pain but they look great now that they are on!
Thanks for the video. It was so good, that, instead of including instructions, the manufacturer included in the box a QR link that links to this video. 😆 The included hardware is a little confusing. Why are there thread inserts included? Are they included in case you'd rather not use the self-tapping screws? Thanks for the video. It helped me figure out how to install those little brackets for the front.
One lesson I learned was to use Loctite on the smallest screws that secure the metal mesh piece in place...I did not and they all vibrated out and were lost. To put them back on I had to remove the entire inner fender uuhg!
New fender liners look awesome!! Especially love the American flag on them!! Gives them a retro feel and identity!! Your Jeep is coming on really well!! :-)
Hmm, yea it was a big project for these little pieces! Obvious question is have you checked all the bolts? Aside from that, not sure why it would rattle.
I don't think the rears would work at all because you would need to break some tabs on the stock flare I think to have an attachment point for the liners. Personally if you are leaving the stock flares, no need to do a different liner unless you are doing new flares too.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed the issue is I bought new fenders without liners :(. I have a sport and bought rubicon fenders. The photos for those fenders show it with stock fenders which is why I was asking
@@ZeeSD56 Wouldn't the stock liners work with stock flares then? If you have everything off the truck, maybe that would help line them up better to see if they both work!
The proper way for the American flag to be presented is to always have the stars leading the way forward. As if you are waving it from a flag pole. Stars always lead. If you ever see military ppl with a flag on their right shoulder it'll have the stars on the right side of the flag
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thanks, that is so interesting, I never heard anyone say this, and I doubt many actually know that. Whoever constructed those Liners must have been a Veteran.
This is how parts are arriving so just because others do that doesn't mean you have to go in that order. I wanted to get all the parts in while I am deciding on the wheels and tires because those are the most important so I don't want to get the wrong lift/wheels.
You mean the grill? I wasn't the biggest fan of it while I had the jeep, it was cool though for the time being. But looked much better with a few more mods after this video.
Wasn’t a very detailed video… as I’m trying to follow along and install mine. The QR code the company sent pulled up this video for installation instructions.
How was it not detailed? I literally showed step by step how to install these. You need to use some critical thinking to put it completely together. It is a complicated puzzle for what it is
My review. These are junk. Total and complete junk. Dont waste your money or time. After several hours I was able to mount the fronts but had to hammer one into place. Holes do not line up and the nuts attached to the panels fell off before I even tried to screw a bolt into them. I ended up just throwing the rears away. Again, these are useless junk.
LOL. Your are creating a whole new Jeep sub species with your garbage China aftermarket useless mods. That Jeep won't even be accepted as a Mall Crawler, they have standards. You have created the Walmart Crawler. All you need is a Rauncho 3.5 inch lift with their horrendous RS5000 shocks, no need for adjustable control arms or track bars, that would be silly. I would finish my Walmart Crawler build off with some 20" Fuel Zephyr red wheels and some Milestar Patagonia 35x12.5 x20 tires. Perfect end to your Amazon build. I understand you say the cheapest parts, but I think you owe it to your viewers, to have some discretion and say don't buy this, it's junk.
These were not junk at all, you need to loose some of that ego, steel is steel. These were great parts to add and while they were cheap, they were just as good as parts costing twice as much. Not sure why people think a less expensive part is cheaper, but these were great and I would recommend them all day to any jeep owner looking to be smart with their money and not over spend. Have a nice day, and I enjoyed offroading my "mall crawler"..
3 years later and you’re still helping people. I probably would’ve returned these if I didn’t find your video. Appreciate this tutorial!
Glad the video helped! They took us a bit to figure out how they went together!
Man this jeep just keeps looking better and better , so excited for the new wheels and tires! Great content!
Thanks! 👍 It's been a fun project so far! Can't wait for those to arrive!
Around the time I got the notification, I actually was on the Jeep website looking at the new 4xe and 392 Wrangler and I see this video is on yours
Haha nice!! I can't wait to check those models out!!

I got the same ones thanks for info I was totally confused. I’ll definitely be rewatching as I install

Oh nice!! Yeah I had that same issues with not knowing I needed new liners after the flares! But glad you could find them and get them installed!!!
Looking good. 3in lift wheels and tires. And can I suggest bed liner for the random red in the wheel wells.
Lift, wheels and tires will be coming soon! And I've thought about painting them, but I have some ideas to see what I can do!
Thanks for the video. I bought the same liners. Would have never figured this out on my own. I have KBD flares coming.
Yeah these were a pain to figure out

Oh wow, that's cool to hear! I don't remember if I used those or not!
Thanks David Spade, saved the day again 👍🏻
No problem, love making these videos when I’m not on set!
the flag is a nice touch

Nice job! Soo basically take it to a shop and let them do it for me. Go it lol!

Glad it helped! A little tricky, but not too bad for the Wrangler!
Nice job bro ... question-- do we have to make new holes for these liners or the bolt screws are already there please advise, regards
I didn't have to drill any new holes! But not all the holes were used either. It's a time consuming project, but look pretty cool!
Do you have to take out the existing liners? Jk with 33s and 4” lift. Stock fenders
Yes these are a direct replacement for the stock liners, they won't fit with them in.
It not a truck! It’s the Jeep! 😁
lol, I call it a truck sometimes, I'm use to owning trucks, but that jeep life!!
I love your new fender

I have these for the 2018 JK and it was such a pain to install. The right driver side rattles and I don’t know how to fix it. It’s super annoying.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed yea I even used self-tapping screws to help.
I am currently trying to install my rear ones and the bottom front bolt doesn't line up with any holes
They were hard to line up for sure
Would these work with stock rubicon fenders? and how would you install the rear ones if you had stock fenders?
I don't think the rears would work at all because you would need to break some tabs on the stock flare I think to have an attachment point for the liners. Personally if you are leaving the stock flares, no need to do a different liner unless you are doing new flares too.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed the stock sport liners are different as the rubicon fenders sit higher up. So the stock liners wouldn't work :(
Maybe I'll try the stock rear liners and just use these ones for the front since they should work with stock front fenders right?
Inner Fender Liners are very very good to jeep its more great looking maybe next is the new wheel's bro hahahaha! 😁
That's the plan! Hopefully be coming soon!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah bro when thats arrived coming soon haha jeep is more good looking! 💪
Looks really nice, but why is the Flag backwards. It's like looking into a mirror.
The proper way for the American flag to be presented is to always have the stars leading the way forward. As if you are waving it from a flag pole. Stars always lead. If you ever see military ppl with a flag on their right shoulder it'll have the stars on the right side of the flag
