i’ve recently lost my 14 year old dog, have trouble sleeping at night because of what if’s, been constantly worried for my elderly parents’ wellbeing, yada yada. i don’t exactly understand how you feel and never will since every single one of us is different, as long as you find yourself awake another day, live, because you’re already dead

I played SH as a teenager....then with my own child...now shes grown almost and i listen to this, at 3am before work sometimes, and wonder where time went, what memories she has..its so peaceful, yet sad, yet stoic, yet undefined...

I could imagine walking down my old street... not been there in years... the whole place is derelict... abandoned... shrouded in an ethereal fog. It feels so alien, yet memories flood back like a swarm of crazy butterflies, straight to my soul...
This audio (and game) transports me somewhere almost indescribable. To an inaccessible area of my brain. Where imagination and memories collide. Where it's like, all at once, in just a few seconds, I simultaneously experience every emotion I've ever felt and ever will feel. Put into a state of forever being, I can see it all happen at will. All my hopes and fears laid bare for no-one but me to judge myself with no consequence. I am in despair, yet the future is waiting for me to repaint it, if I choose. Would I even want to? Our past makes us who we are in the present. Altering the future ; I could shape it in my image. But it would be a lie. A farce as to who I really am. So I trudge forward. Whatever may come. Into Alchemilla Hospital. To save Mary? To maybe save Maria ? To save myself ? Is anything in this life or the next even real?

I had this pretty much playing on the background when i was writing my master's thesis. This is perfectly soothing and feels like im vibrating with it, like it's some kind of a "home frequency" for me. I never get tired of this.

The quiet footsteps and the subtle noise make me feel something oddly familiar, as if it's a place I've been before. In this calm, mysterious atmosphere, I can contemplate life from the perspective of its ephemerality, passage, and meaninglessness... Here I am now, alone, awaiting my end and saying goodbye to this world. I don't really know where I'm going... I surrender to the unknown, opening my arms for it to take me wherever it wants.

reminds me of the UK artist Burial with the low, deep tones but ambient frequencies
