Also have to remember, in Dino Thunder he states he no longer had his powers. Its pretty good chance Billy was working on the master morpher at that time.
@@GenerationSPodcast because zordon is OUTSIDE TIME AND SPACE what if he looked YEAR'S down the timeline and contact the morphen masters to create the morpher
My point exactly! In forever red; TJ shows up in lightning cruiser (a street version) at the space station during the meet up of the other red rangers.
Now that Once and Always is out its important to note that the coins given to Rocky and Kat were specifically mentioned to be copies of Jason's and Kimberly's coins which were created as a "just in case." As far as im concerned this was a neat way to explain away any continuity issues for previously lost powers. But anyways, if Billy, presumably, can make functioning coins it very well stands to reason that Billy could have made the master morpher.
Interesting study. Tommy has always been connected to evil magic. He was filled with it when he got his first power set and it made 1 ranger strong enough to threaten 5 others. Between that and the green candle episode we know that evil magic can strengthen, drain, block, or even sever a rangers connection to their power set. Tommy transferred his green power to Jason to keep Rita from draining it with the candle, but Rita later used Tommys hair (and evil magic) to create a clone with full access to the green power. Megaforce establishes all prior power sets still exist, even those supposedly destroyed, and can somehow be accessed even by those who dont have a dna link to them. This either implies the grid is even less secure than previously imagined, casts a very dark light on whats actually going on with those legendary morphers, or both. Tommys clone, and Lord Drakken if we are considering Shattered Grid as canon, show that Tommy can still wield evil magic. This also has some interesting implications as to how he was able to call on and so proficiently fight with multiple powersets, including supposedly destroyed ones. The who and the how of that morphers origins may have been left vague because fans really wouldnt like the answers despite the clues being there.
You are also forgetting, and you probably will disagree to agree: Rita Repusla was not always "Evil" never was Lord Zedd(canon or not) that's why Zordon asked Andros to destroy his *Energy Crystal* that people who once *Good Natured* be fully restored to their First Selves(contrary to popular belief) heck Rita was a Green Ranger(thousands of Eons before Tommy Oliver) she has Access to the Morphin Grind(Ivan Ooze has Access to the grind as well, but that's for another comment section..) I don't know exactly what happened between Zordon,Dimitria,Rita,Zed and her father Master Vile (all I know is these 4 were very Extraordinary Wizard/Witch/Warlocks) very strong.. I mean they had Excess to Time,Space and Matter(that's nothing to sneeze at) Gosei possibly doesn't have that power Keeper... I don't think so Commander Anubis Krueger...he might(it's a reach...I'm grasping at straws here) Master Darseia (yes she would Access to morphing grid full knowledge) Laregot(definitely he's a too close of a friend to left out...) Billy(full access to the grind,no question)
its not as easy as it seems to access the morphing grid. but billy has prooven us long ago that he knew a lot about the energies used by said coins and obejcts. it would be easier to think that billy actually found a way into the morphing grid and learned how to use it. thus giving himthe ability to just recreate morphers. mind you billy isn't the only one having done that. SPD, Turbo and Beast Morpher all created morphers out of nowhere too. considering how light speed explained it. they simply needed rangers and thus created their own ! which even more exemplify the fact that we are a thoughtful race that can learn about energies and how to use them. heck even Time force prooved that our future rangers can literally be created on a whim.
My theory on how TJ got to use the Red Turbo powers in Forever Red is that during of the episodes of In Space; Lightning Cruiser and Storm Blaster were in need of a rescue. Storm Blaster escaped and tracked down Justin for help. Justin said he lost his powers and couldn't morph. Storm Blaster's glove box opens to reveal the Turbo Morpher. So in theory; Lightning Cruiser should have a back up morpher to the red turbo powers. And if you recall in Forever Red; TJ shows in in Lightning Cruiser when all the rangers meet up at the space station. Although it was more of a street version of Lightning Cruiser; its safe to say the episode hinted at it with him getting out of a car that looks exactly like Lightning Cruiser just minus all the cannons.
Excellent point! Unfortunately alot of power ranger theories are based of hints, fan theory or filling in the blanks but maybe this will change with Hasbro in charge. We hope we get some answers in the upcoming special, even its its just a throw away line or something. Thanks for watching!
@@GenerationSPodcast It's the most concrete theory there is if you rewatch that In Space episode where Justin returns and Storm Blaster has that back up morpher pop out of the glove box. TJ shows up with Lightning Cruiser (street version) at the space station during the meet up of the other red rangers in Forever Red. Very easy to say Lightning Cruiser must've had a back up morpher for TJ as Storm Blaster did for Justin.
This theory also works to the script, as it is common knowledge that Forever Red was ment to be a two parter or an hour long. One of the scene that was in the origional script, but they either never shot or that got cut out, was of TJ getting his red turbo morpher from lightning cruiser. It would defiantly have been interesting to see the episode as was originally intended.
Thx for the theory/ explanation on the master morpher. I stopped watching PRs after in space because of life, so now I’m slowly catching up. It’s funny because I just got finished watching the episode on super ninja steel where they introduced the master morpher and I had no clue what it was and I saw Tommy going through his Zeo red phase, white ranger phase and Green phase. After watching that episode, I literally went on RUclips and just start scrolling through my video feeds on Power Rangers and this master morpher video came up. I’ll keep this video in mind as I’m playing catch up.
@Generation ‘S’ honestly after the, imo, disappointment that was once and always, did do Billy's career justice. And since he's known Tommy their entire ranger lives, I'm pretty sure he created the master morpher specifically for Tommy. I think it taps in to the morphing grid directly and acts as a supercharger for residual ranger energy.
I'm pretty sure Haley Ziktor made the Dino Thunder Morphers. She says that Tommy isn't a rocket scientist. Tommy may have provided some knowledge and help, but I'm guessing it was mostly Haley. You definitely missed her. You also might have mentioned Tommy's coma and confrontation with his former powers, indicating a connection to them. And Billy went to Aquitar so he didn't age to death, which is a wrench on this (at least until Once and Always shows how Billy was able to return Earth). I'd guess Haley and Alpha, with some remote help from Billy.
My theory as far as Jason and TJ in forever red has to do with the end of power rangers in space. When Andros shattered Zordon's tube to release his good energy across the universe turning all the monsters into humans, it's believable that the same energy restored all the rangers powers. It could have been Zordon's way of ensuring that the universe would be protected once he was gone. In the original series Zordon used his own energy numerous times to re-charge the green ranger. I believe if Zordon used every bit of energy he had he could have restored every ranger.
If you remember Justin was still able to morph after the rest of the team abandoned him on Earth, so theoretically TJ could still call on his red Turbo power the same way Justin could.
The more likely explanation for TJ has to do with Lightning Cruiser and Storm Blaster, which were NOT destroyed in the Turbo finale, as in an episode of Power Rangers in Space, we see Justin morph with an extra morpher that was stored in Storm Blaster's glove compartment. It's safe to assume Lightning Cruiser had an extra morpher as well, which meant that TJ would be also able to morph with his turbo powers. Kat using HER turbo powers is the one I don't get unless she got a master morpher too
Kat had to use the Turbo power as her Zeo power was probably lost after the Turbo movie since she was the only one in that movie who was attempting to use it.
I believe Billy and Alpha 5, maybe even Alpha 6 helped create the Master Morpher and used Tommy as the template because by that time Tommy has been 4 different Rangers, Alpha 5 and Alpha 6 worked with the Rangers so they understand the powers, and Billy has the technical know-how
Tommy has been the template for several scenarios: Rita's own power ranger, a newly created power ranger afterwards, and (if this comment is true) the master morpher.
I've seen a lot of people make similar videos about the master Morpher and I noticed that when Tommy first shows up in the legendary battle episode of super mega force he has saba and it shows his white ranger helmet but then he is morphed into the green ranger during the battle my theory is he had the master Morpher at that time
Super Megaforce wasn’t the most polished in editing the Gokaiger footage to make sense. For instance the Lost Squadron was not included for any set up or pay off and was out of nowhere
The soul of the dragon graphic novel basically says it was a Cranston or Sterling design. So Grace or Billy is the only people that have been alluded to
Its true that Billy and Angela Fairweather are both speculated to have built the thing, but there was no confirmation either way. JDF once said in a social media post that Ninjor built the Master Morpher for Tommy.
I wanna add something to the Jason's Morpher part. In the story arc where the Rangers get the Sword of Light (I think that's what it was called) the sword copied the Power Coins and Morphers of Jason, Zack, and Trini to give the powers to Rocky, Adam, and Aisha, respectively. I say copied because all six were seen morphed in the Command Center at the same time, hinting that Jason, Zack, and Trini still have their original Morphers, which were never seen destroyed. Granted, that was done to hide the fact that the actors who played the originals had left the show by that time because of pay disputes, but still. That could be how Jason was able to morph in Forever Red, as his connection to the Grid was never cut off. Could also be how Zack can morph in the upcoming 30th anniversary, and Mihn would be given her mother's Morpher.
Let's not forget about the Marvel MMPR comics from the 90's which are supposedly canon too, if i remember right, as it is shown in the comics that Jason fights an evil red ranger (This evil red and his teammates were in control of the Thunderzords which Lord Zedd somehow revived and they were wearing the OG MMPR suits w/Dino Coins while the good guys were in Ninja mode w/Ninja Coins). Jason fights the evil red to regain his original morphing powers. These comics take place either between season 2 and 3 of MMPR or way after season 3. This particular comic uses the Dark Ranger idea that went nowhere fast in the show. This is what i remember being mentioned for Jason being in Forever Red.
To confirm your theory on the multiple morphers for each power… in the episode “Transfer of Power” in which Jason,Trini, and Zack Transferred their powers to Rocky, Adam, and Aisha. All Six of them were powered up at the same time. And in Zeo Jason mentioned that his Red ranger powers still worked but they weren’t as strong as they once were which is why he became Zeo Gold.
Question, What episode of Zeo did Jason state this in? I've rewatched this season so many times and not once did he ever mention his red ranger powers. But I'm open to being proven wrong.
Jason didn't become Zeo Gold because the Red Dino powers weren't working properly. He was a stand-in for Trey of Triforia, the original Gold Zeo Ranger who was weakened after splitting into three people.
Billy fixed the morphing grid… after Adam, he’s getting it stable. Adam had it as he was testing it out for billy just in case. Billy then stabilizes grid. I think tommy in Dino thunder was helping behind the scenes with help from other morphers. Billy hasn’t figured it out yet.
8:34 - Quick note. In the Dino Thunder season, Hayley Ziktor states she made the morphers. I'm willing to accept Tommy introduced her to Billy and the two tech nerds got along.
@@Kiddo_X agreed, Hayley just dialed "long distance" to Aquitar and talked to Billy. Maybe even played a game of Dungeons and Dragons while talking tech. I just wish they had included scenes like that as you could see it work.
If you are pay attention to the first episode that aired you can see that billy and jason were already wearing their communicator while their wristbands was trying to cover it
Each one having their own morphers was once more confirmed during the new special "Once and Always", as we can see Rocky and Katty morphing while Jason and Kimberly are also morphed.
Meagforce team: " Thanks legendary rangers! if there is anything we can ever do to repay you, just let us know" Tommy "I want all my key forms please...."
@@GenerationSPodcast I could actually see it being a condition all the rangers had with Gosei. Many of them lost their powers. They agreed to let the new team access them and then afterwards they get their powers back. For most they get a key or mcguffin to restore their powers, but Tommy walked away with a few more forms. Then maybe with the help of Billy combined them so he just needed one mcguffin to use all of them.
It was Ninjor. End of story. Ninjor made the power coins, revitalized their powers when they were lost as well as gave them Ninja powers etc. If anyone has the actual ability to do it, it's Ninjor. If Billy could've made the morpher he would've been able to save the Green Ranger power or if you really want to argue that point fine, but then he would've ATLEAST had a hand in making the W.Ranger originally and not stumbling upon it accidentally. Aside from that it's also possible that this morpher was made by Zordon/Alpha or Ninjor and was in Zordon/Alpha's possesion bur was too powerful at the time for anyone to have. I would assume it wasn't until Tommy gained his 2nd powers I.E the W.Ranger powers he started to be able to use it because he was able to use a different power. Then as he transitioned thru various powers overtime he continued to grow in a way that allowed him to be able to use and control the Morpher. Thats why you only see the forms he has used prior. It also doesn't mean others can't have them or use it, we just haven't seen them
I could be wrong but didn't Haley Ziktor help with the creation of the Dino Thunder Morphers. So a futhre theory. Cam, Haley and Billy all worked on the Master Morpher.
So tj can be explained by the fact that the car in forever red is most likely lightning cruiser. Which we learn in the in space episode true Blue to the rescue that the travel vehicles have an extra Morpher stored on board. And it at least from visual is implied that they have a grid connection on board. As far as dino thunder I don't know if you were going for the knowledge aspect or not but there is a line in the series that Haley constructed the Morphers with Tommy's help. Everything else was really good though. Also a brief mention Adam in space does morph into the Mastodon ranger. The way he does that is the sword of light transference was a copy, not a transfer of the powers. So Jason, Zack and Trini still have their original powers . I know they didn't demorph because the actors were gone. But we have to think in universe and so the coin and Morpher used were Adam's that were tied to the destruction of the thunderzords and the overload of the powers and also the ninja coins from mmpr season 3 no longer exists because they were turned to dust when they were stolen from Billy's device to reage the rangers (could Ninjor have remade them? Absolutely). With kat and the pink turbo powers that could go one of two ways. The way you stated or she could have acquired the morpher from one of the robo rangers that alpha and demetria were working on. Also I know not Canon because it didn't show up in the episode. But apparently there was cut content on the Super Ninja steel episode that was going to reveal that Kat made the master morpher. Now I am glad they didn't go this route. Because I like kat and all but in my opinion she never showed that kind of scientific aptitude.
My point exactly. It's the most concrete theory out there considering Storm Blaster had a back up morpher in the glove box for Justin. There is no doubt Lightning Cruiser had a backup morpher for the red turbo powers.
The cut actually was going to explain her Master Morpher was the combined effort of her and two other Rangers, we already know Tommy is obviously one of them, makes sense for Billy to be the third
To me it's simple who gets the second master Morpher Billy should have a fusion where are you confuses to Powers together easily and other rangers the same Kat not only has her regular set of powers she also has the pink pterodactyl power From next to Tommy she has the most powers to be connected to so she's a perfect choice to be the second master Morpher ranger
Weeee Ranger lore/theory geek out time! :D I have some things to point out, although it is mostly theory and sorry if this is a tad long XD 1st is the retention of powers for Jason and other older rangers, we have to remember that the Sword of Light was used to ‘transfer’ the powers, but from the looks of things it was more of a duplication. Their powers were most likely non-functional whilst the clone M.M. Morphers were active as they essentially drew from the same source via the Morpher, even if it’s a different coin it’s still using the same set up. This could have also been used on the turbo powers allowing Kat to retain her Turbo powers. As an addition to this Tommy still had his Gold Morpher from his green ranger days, it was just utterly drained not destroyed, which may have been used as the base to create the Master Morpher. Onto the second thing: The Zeo powers are said to get stronger over time, a fail-safe in case anything goes utterly wrong - however switching to the Turbo powers may have been a safety measure, the Zeo powers could have been overused to the point where their bodies wouldn’t be able to deal with the increasing power for much longer. So Billy streamlines the powers through it’s ‘tech’ base into vehicles. And a final aside Haley pretty much owns up to creating the Dino Morphers and tools for Dino Thunder, I imagine Billy, Alpha, Haley and their allies would rather quickly be able to create a whole bunch of neat stuff including the Master Morpher. Hell we already suspect Fairweather was able to create the Lightspeed powers from the wreckage of the Thunder Zords tech, all these big brains together could teach the Masters a thing or twelve.
You kind of forgot one episode from In Space where Storm Blaster had a spare Turbo Morpher for Justin but that also puts an idea that the lightning cruiser could have the ability to make a spare Turbo Morpher for the red lightning turbo powers. But hands off to you for potential ideas
IMO Hayley in Dino Thunder states she built the morphers. She asks, "Who do you think built the morphers?" I believe. Here is proof.. ruclips.net/video/0Fa1jVSz008/видео.html
i wish the PR writers gave more care and thought into their canon like how super sentai does things. the master morpher was the biggest most obvious toy ad ive ever seen
This is great content. Have you done an update since the release of "Once and Always" ? If not, that would add some validity to the theories and expand on some others.
Thank you for the comment and for watching! May is going to be Master Morpher Month on the channel and we will dive into it again with what we learned in once and always. We hope you watch that vid as well!
A few corrections, Rocky lost the copy of the Tyranisous powers at the end of season 2, and season 3 ended with the loss of his Ninja Ape powers. Though it is never clarified in the episode 'The Power Transfer, Part 2' Zordon said that the 3 departing rangers would still have their powers to protect them. (To me) This suggests that the powers were copied Jason had the original power coin and Rocky had a copy. As for T.J. and the Red Turbo powers, if you assume that the Lightning Cruiser had the same thing as the Storm Blaster then this is likely how T.J. could morph into the Red Turbo Ranger. To prove this in the In Space episode 'True Blue to the Rescue' Justin Stewert, the Blue Turbo Ranger, is picked up by the Storm Blaster to help rescue the Space Rangers and the vehicle opens a compartment to show Justin 'his' Turbo Morpher. I am willing to bet that both Storm Blaster and Lightning Cruiser have these backup copies of the Blue and Red Turbo Morphers.
I dont know if its true but there was a theory in turbo that the zeo cristal power was depleted with time and need to recharge thats why the turbo powers was need
Zordon probably chose billy because he knew he'd help create more rangers as he was a science enthusiast and was taught what to do by zordon himself with alpha as an assistant
I haven't read many comments. In the idea of TJ getting his morpher from Tommy (makes sense and possible) what about Justin getting a second morpher from Storm Blaster? Would it be an OK suggestion, though we didn't see it, that Lightning cruiser had a spare also?
Well, I also speculate that Billy, Adam and Alpha made the cosmic night ranger along with the master Morphers and the cosmic night ranger, and the master Morphers that are used in super megaforce.
It's most likely a combination of Haley Ethan and Billy that formed the core of the team that developed the master morpher since Haley and Billy are or would be phd students and Ethan developed a key piece of code that runs spd not to mention Mr Harford for overdrive built grid connections too.
I think that the Mega Morphers are more akin to Apprentice morphers as opposed to Master morphers. They use a siver of the originals powers while the master uses the full power of that form.
Wouldn’t you assume Tommy had a hand in the creation of the master morpher seeing as he is quite literally the longest running ranger and actually went through the process of having a morpher made for him when he lost his green ranger powers. Alpha 5 and Zordon had Tommy strapped to a table as they imbued him with white ranger powers.
About the powers being able to be transferred, in the mighty morphing era Tommy as the green ranger transfers his chest plate to Jason the red ranger. So from my memory it is quite possible since the early episodes
In Dino Thunder also Kendall Stated that Tommy wasn't smart enough to design the Dino Thunder Morphers. She built them for Tommy. As much as Billy is the Favorite Child, Kendall could have built the Master Morpher For Tommy as well.
There has been no confirmation in the Power Rangers TV show on how this was built, so any theory could be right. We are looking forward to hearing your theories below! Considering how the actual morph masters actually are used. and they literally give rangers new morphers. it is quite clear how many rangers have their powers still. imagine like this... we found powers and energies in other items. coins, dino gems and the likes. it is just as evident that those energies would be studied for. and that some individuals, like billy who have really good knack for it would create morphers. exemples of said created morphers... Lightspeed Rescue, Turbo, Beast Morphers to name a few... going further in evolution of how morphers gets created. Storm Blaster in space, true blue to the rescue, shows the youngins his morpher fully charged up. as in stomr blaster recharged the morphers, meaning those energies can be replenished ! we all know energies cazn be duplicated or reused if done int he right conditions. tommy has a lot of knowledge of those energies. and billy also has the tech to go along. so just like in beast morpher where they learned to use these energies to power our lives. other rangers would have found a way to replenish or recharge their own stuff. At this point in the life of power rangers, everyone who had lost the ability to transform, somehow got it all back. the logical answer to that would be that someone or many people all together found a way to recreate morphers and access the morphing grid. this also goes into saying that future version showed us that yes we are capable of doing that. Time Froce and S.P.D showed it all to us already ! the only thing i love more then seeing old rangers back in town. is seeing their evolutions. like Adam Park and Aisha in space. the old astronema becoming a ranger and loving it. zach andf billy becoming what they become. you know advancement in their story. other then power rangers.
It's also obvious that Tommys dino morpher is exactly like his turbo morpher with the key and everything. So Billy could have modified it to accept a different power. THAT could be a test to see if it was possible and a prototype for the master morpher. Also you have to agree that since the master morpher heavily resembles the mighty Morphin morpher. Amd some of the powers that didn't have coins now have coins. Billy and alpha know how to make coins with powers and it would stand to reason that Billy would want the master morpher to mimic mighty Morphin cause it was/special to him. Since he was only a mighty Morphin ranger.
No One else should nor could have a master morpher he was special in so many ways he is uniquely suited for it and any one else wouldn't be able to handle the responsibilities or power alone as the infamous line goes "With great power comes great responsibility " and sometimes that much power can corrupt even the purest souls a d turn them evil. Look at Lord Drakkon.
Don’t forget that in Dino thunder explained that hailey was the tech gunius and tommy was the one who figured out how to use the Dino gems but hailey made the morphers.
All talk of who made the master morpher aside i have another question. Why didn't they use Once and Always as an opportunity to pass the baton for tommy as well like they did trini? Tommy could have had a kid too by this time and even if they didn't want to unalive him in universe they could have scripted some reason for him not be able to participate in the O&A events. Broken bone perhaps like Rocky when he was prevented from becoming the blue turbo ranger. On top of that they could have had Tommy's kid (i would assume it be a daughter cause im pretty sure JDF's daughter actually wants to take up the mantle) and Trini's kid form an even deaper unbreakable bond due to everything going on in the movie than they would have had already without said events.
We will be releasing 10 Questions from Once and Always that need answers next week. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to check that vid out!
We know this answer. We always have. The coins were built by Ninjor. He is the creator of all Power Coins, that's his purpose when the grid created him. Tommy took all the morpher parts to Ninjor sometime after the events of Dino Thunder. However, the Master Morpher, well it was Billy and Hailey. Both have repaired and built Morphers. Alpha 6 may have also lent a hand as he would be programmed to also know the details of the Morphers. The combined mental might of Billy, Hailey and Alpha 6 should be able to design and build a Morpher that can swap wavelengths and coins. I am assuming here that Alpha 5 built the OG Morphers as Ninjor doesn't do this, that wasn't his role. The Morphers were for humans to use. That's why it would be perfect if humans built the Master Morpher, especially for an evil that returned for a final showdown. Another theory I have is that the grid creates particular Power Rangers teams to directly battle one evil. As the wave lengths of the evil must be complemented by a good wave length that syncs with it. This is why we sometimes see a Ranger team unable to defend themselves from another evil, why? Because their wavelengths don't sync. It senses the wavelength, it then cycles through the wavelengths it has to make the team (suits/weapons/zords/etc) that matches the evil.
Tommy's green MMPR morpher was never destroyed, since his White Tiger powers came from the Light itself, doubtful that he could ever even lose those powers to begin with, they probably just went dormant, I believe the Light reenergized his Green Ranger powers, in Turbo they (Tommy, Kat, Adam, Tanya) don't truly lose their powers (they are copied again), the only thing that truly doesn't make sense is the access to the Zeo powers considering the crystals themselves were destroyed unless like the other powers they got bonded to their DNA (Tommy dying as the green candle drained his powers)
I like your theory. My theory after hearing this is billy definitely had a hand in making the master morpher especially after i had watched cosmic fury as billy made the cosmic fury morphers and the powers
I'm aware of how deflating this may be, but according to a social media post that Jason David Frank made in the aftermath of the 25th Anniversary Special's broadcast, Ninjor (a refresher for those who may need it: The sage who is said to have forged the Dino Power Coins, and gives the Mighty Morphin' Rangers a new set of Ninja Power Coins when he is introduced in Season 3) built the Master Morpher for Tommy.
I think alpha is a big part of it because maybe you need an organic life form to enter the grid. To gain access to it. I also think that is how zordon did with the mighty morphing powers, power probably goes back to the grid
Um, just to point out, at forever red we noticed that T.J. Has his turbo powers, but in power rangers turbo there was this episode where there were robot turbo rangers to help out in Eltar, now either that “was” the real T.J. Getting turbo powers through Tommy, OR its robot T.J. With his own turbo powers
I have no doubt that Billy built the master morpher, he has both the intelligence and skill to do so, but I think that he did have help building it. Don't forget that we have seen at least 5 to 6 people throughout the franchise that could have helped him build it. Angela Fairweather, Haily Ziktor, Cam Watanaby, Andrew Hartford, Kat Manx, and Dr. K have all shown that they have a solid enough grasp on Ranger tech that they could have easily helped Billy to build it. My guess is that, on the urging of the morphing masters, Billy traveled to Gosie's cavern base and studied both the Super Morphers and the Legacy keys, and was able to figure out a way to reconnect a former Ranger to the grid so they could access any power set they once used. He then went to one or more of the above mentioned individuals and created the master morpher, linking it to one of the greatest rangers of all time, Tommy Oliver, as he was both more colors, and on more teams then any other Ranger. That's my theory.
And if Billy wanted to make more Master Morphers, Tommy could have been the "beta tester", as you said he had the most forms/colors/teams, who better to test it out with?
Last comment.. I'd love a explanation of Billy creating the Master Morpher with old footage of him and Alpha, then him using it and ACTUALLY turning into the Gold Ranger for once
The creation of the Dino thunder morphers was addressed in the flashback episode the redhead chic actually created the morphers she was a genius Tommy met in college
or based off the comics if they have access to the grid they have their powers, if the master morpher has a direct connections maybe he can use it as a type of hotspot to give other rangers access to the grid restoring their powers either temporary or permanently.
What if it came from Zordon/alpha/billy? What if they tie it into the new movie? Kind of like a wrap around/nod to JDF. Leaves it open for so much to happen. I believe it could happen
The question is, does it really make a difference if Tommy turns into another Ranger form? Does he really have different power? Is he stronger as red Zeo Ranger than he is as White Ranger? In my oppinion, he just changes the color and his weapon. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool that he can transform into any ranger he used to be and it's awesome that they brought back the Green Ranger. I'm just wondering.
You forgot to mention Haley, Tommy's college friend who like Billy was a genius inventor as well as engineer! She created the dino morphers so she couldve helped Billy build the morpher103%!
Also have to remember, in Dino Thunder he states he no longer had his powers. Its pretty good chance Billy was working on the master morpher at that time.
Yes with alpha 5 since he returns with the command center
But the Dino Gem gave him his power
The Zeo, Turbo, and Dino Thunder weren't coins though, only MMPR had coins
Yes maybe he did because he was able to give Zach and Rocky his powers back
@@kennethwashburn8783 Back then, yes. Now pretty much every season is either a coin or a gear. (for gears, please see the 45th Sentai season).

I would guess Billy, maybe even with help from Hailey from DT, as well as Alpha, Ninjor and possibly Lightspeed Rescue and Gosei.
You are also forgetting, and you probably will disagree to agree: Rita Repusla was not always "Evil" never was Lord Zedd(canon or not) that's why Zordon asked Andros to destroy his *Energy Crystal* that people who once *Good Natured* be fully restored to their First Selves(contrary to popular belief) heck Rita was a Green Ranger(thousands of Eons before Tommy Oliver) she has Access to the Morphin Grind(Ivan Ooze has Access to the grind as well, but that's for another comment section..)
I don't know exactly what happened between Zordon,Dimitria,Rita,Zed and her father Master Vile (all I know is these 4 were very Extraordinary Wizard/Witch/Warlocks) very strong.. I mean they had Excess to Time,Space and Matter(that's nothing to sneeze at)
Gosei possibly doesn't have that power
Keeper... I don't think so
Commander Anubis Krueger...he might(it's a reach...I'm grasping at straws here)
Master Darseia (yes she would Access to morphing grid full knowledge)
Laregot(definitely he's a too close of a friend to left out...)
Billy(full access to the grind,no question)
its not as easy as it seems to access the morphing grid. but billy has prooven us long ago that he knew a lot about the energies used by said coins and obejcts. it would be easier to think that billy actually found a way into the morphing grid and learned how to use it. thus giving himthe ability to just recreate morphers. mind you billy isn't the only one having done that.
@@EONEILL1987 especially since the later turbo rangers, like TJ, had robot replicas who I believe also had access to the turbo powers.
Yes
Thank you for sharing and your nice comment! Make sure to browse some of our other videos, they might help you catch up on things!
More than anyone, Billy is the one who understands how the Morphin Grid works the most. I bet Cranston Tech is making all sort of technology.
The fact that Billy was proxy coins laying around is a indicator that he has been tinkering with the grind and more than likely made the mast morpher
Also, the green dragon zoro was never destroyed, so that HAS to be residual green ranger energy within Tommy and the grid
I'd guess Haley and Alpha, with some remote help from Billy.
woulda been nice to see the Red Turbo Ranger morph
GREAT POINT about Billy's knowledge of the grid and Tommy being so close to him he probably learned to create the Dino-Gems
Yeah this makes a lot of sense.
Great theory
TIL Zordon is The Traveler
That makes sense
The ninja steel episode also shows just how powerful Tommy is as the green ranger, when he had all the power of it.
I've seen a lot of people make similar videos about the master Morpher and I noticed that when Tommy first shows up in the legendary battle episode of super mega force he has saba and it shows his white ranger helmet but then he is morphed into the green ranger during the battle my theory is he had the master Morpher at that time
My theory is that this happened due to the sentai footage having those costumes both present
Super Megaforce wasn’t the most polished in editing the Gokaiger footage to make sense. For instance the Lost Squadron was not included for any set up or pay off and was out of nowhere
Combo indeed.. Billy and Alpha 6, along with Adam and Tommy.
Glad you agree!
The soul of the dragon graphic novel basically says it was a Cranston or Sterling design. So Grace or Billy is the only people that have been alluded to
cranston or fairweather
As Zordon says, "Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger"
@@tauronalpha539 damn right. 👍🏻
Thats exactly what we were going for. Rocky's coin and morpher was destroyed at the end of season 3 nit Jason's.
But then you have to question why Jason never showed he can use it in zeo
And in Zeo Jason mentioned that his Red ranger powers still worked but they weren’t as strong as they once were which is why he became Zeo Gold.
this guy gets it, thanks for watching
Question, What episode of Zeo did Jason state this in? I've rewatched this season so many times and not once did he ever mention his red ranger powers. But I'm open to being proven wrong.
I got all the action figures of Power Rangers mighty Morphin and Zeo These two classic series are my top 10
I like to think its how Morphin Masters morph when in the physical world and Tommy had been choosen already to replace Green when he died.
My theory is that the Master Morpher was built by Gosei as a prototype for the Legendary Morpher.
Thats.... actually a really awesome idea
I’m pretty sure tommy witnessed them make the white ranger power so that could explain Tommy’s knowledge on how some of the power works
8:34 - Quick note. In the Dino Thunder season, Hayley Ziktor states she made the morphers. I'm willing to accept Tommy introduced her to Billy and the two tech nerds got along.
By intergalactic communication. We know Billy was on Aquitar for treatment for his accelerated aging.
She made the Dino Thunder Morphers
I said that, @@kennethwashburn8783...
@@Kiddo_X agreed, Hayley just dialed "long distance" to Aquitar and talked to Billy. Maybe even played a game of Dungeons and Dragons while talking tech. I just wish they had included scenes like that as you could see it work.
remember that in dino thunder hayley helped tommy make the dino powers, so she knows a lot about the grid
If you are pay attention to the first episode that aired you can see that billy and jason were already wearing their communicator while their wristbands was trying to cover it
I will check that out, thanks for the info!
Each one having their own morphers was once more confirmed during the new special "Once and Always", as we can see Rocky and Katty morphing while Jason and Kimberly are also morphed.
In my theory, Tommy has already obtained all of 5 Legendary Ranger Keys and combined it into the Master Morpher
Meagforce team: " Thanks legendary rangers! if there is anything we can ever do to repay you, just let us know"
Tommy "I want all my key forms please...."
It also doesn't mean others can't have them or use it, we just haven't seen them
Interesting theory, appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
I agree. Its that simple. Idk why fans are making it more complicated
the tie-in comic references billy as being a potential creator of the master morpher, so i don't rule him out.
I could be wrong but didn't Haley Ziktor help with the creation of the Dino Thunder Morphers. So a futhre theory. Cam, Haley and Billy all worked on the Master Morpher.
i can see this, thats a pretty sound theory
Solid theory. Theres no right or wrong answers until we have something confirmed in the TV show timeline.
Also don't forget, Billy made the Zeo zords
No matter what season of rangers there are, I only have one thing to say GO GO POWER RANGERS!!!
Thanks for the watching and the great feedback!
*Dude! this is the best theory I've heard on this and I will lean into this. I like how you stick to the facts.*
Thanks for much for watching!
This answered a question I never knew, that I need answered.
To me it's simple who gets the second master Morpher Billy should have a fusion where are you confuses to Powers together easily and other rangers the same
Kat not only has her regular set of powers she also has the pink pterodactyl power
From next to Tommy she has the most powers to be connected to so she's a perfect choice to be the second master Morpher ranger
Zordon, even mentioned, the Turbo zords, were the most powerful zords, ever created.
Its also a very interesting plot to add in a show. Think away.... The more ideas you add the more can be used in future projects
Thank you
The movie explained where the turbo powers originated from, it was from an ancient Aztec civilization that the turbo powers came from.
Most educational power rangers video ive ever seen
Thank you, that means alot!
Weeee Ranger lore/theory geek out time! :D
I have some things to point out, although it is mostly theory and sorry if this is a tad long XD
1st is the retention of powers for Jason and other older rangers, we have to remember that the Sword of Light was used to ‘transfer’ the powers, but from the looks of things it was more of a duplication.
Thanks for sharing your theory and watching!
Fun video, I enjoyed it!
I’m thinking it was built off of perfected technology based on the ranger keys. Billy could easily have made it considering everything billy has built
I dont know if its true but there was a theory in turbo that the zeo cristal power was depleted with time and need to recharge thats why the turbo powers was need
I stopped watching after Ninja Storm, but all of this is fascinating. I think I might need a catch up!
Man rest in power tommy ...rip...😢
Zordon probably chose billy because he knew he'd help create more rangers as he was a science enthusiast and was taught what to do by zordon himself with alpha as an assistant
I haven't read many comments. In the idea of TJ getting his morpher from Tommy (makes sense and possible) what about Justin getting a second morpher from Storm Blaster? Would it be an OK suggestion, though we didn't see it, that Lightning cruiser had a spare also?
There is no right or wrong answers. TJ could very well have gotten a spare morpher from LC. Thanks for watching!
Well, I also speculate that Billy, Adam and Alpha made the cosmic night ranger along with the master Morphers and the cosmic night ranger, and the master Morphers that are used in super megaforce.
What if Gosei is Just Billy's consciousness uploaded into the server after he passed away
The shield was transferred to Zack at the end of season 1 in an episode also.
I always assumed Haley helped him build it some time after dino thunder but Billy really makes sense
In Dino Thunder also Kendall Stated that Tommy wasn't smart enough to design the Dino Thunder Morphers. She built them for Tommy. As much as Billy is the Favorite Child, Kendall could have built the Master Morpher For Tommy as well.
What said about Jason and Rocky morphers makes since
There has been no confirmation in the Power Rangers TV show on how this was built, so any theory could be right.

Since he was only a mighty Morphin ranger.
excellent point about the dino thunder morpher
But I'm betting Haley did for tommy cause she made the dino morphers
No One else should nor could have a master morpher he was special in so many ways he is uniquely suited for it and any one else wouldn't be able to handle the responsibilities or power alone as the infamous line goes "With great power comes great responsibility " and sometimes that much power can corrupt even the purest souls a d turn them evil. Look at Lord Drakkon.
Don’t forget that in Dino thunder explained that hailey was the tech gunius and tommy was the one who figured out how to use the Dino gems but hailey made the morphers.
Have you ever noticed that in the Day of the Dumpster Both Billy & Jason already had the communicators that's why they wore arm bans
We did not notice that... we will have to back and try to spot it! Thanks for watching
Yeah...my *BIG* question *who reBUILT Tommy, Adam, Rocky, Jason's MMPR morphers to begin with decades ago* before master morpher a thing 🙃
In Dino Thunder I thought the morphers were made by Hayley Ziktor "Tommy may know stuff like dinosaurs and bones but a rocket scientist, he ain't"
My theory on how TJ got his turbo powers back is that the command center got rebuilt so the powers came back
I'm aware of how deflating this may be, but according to a social media post that Jason David Frank made in the aftermath of the 25th Anniversary Special's broadcast, Ninjor (a refresher for those who may need it: The sage who is said to have forged the Dino Power Coins, and gives the Mighty Morphin' Rangers a new set of Ninja Power Coins when he is introduced in Season 3) built the Master Morpher for Tommy.
TJ and Justin have secondary morphers with star blaster and lightning cruiser.
My guess is that it's very likely either Billy or Hayley due to them having personal connections with Tommy that go back decades.
I think alpha is a big part of it because maybe you need an organic life form to enter the grid. To gain access to it. I also think that is how zordon did with the mighty morphing powers, power probably goes back to the grid
If Billy didn't make the Master Morpher, another candidate that could've is Hayley, who made the Dino Thunder Morphers
Zack's left middle finger is missing. Someone pointed that out in a comment and now I can't unsee it
Um, just to point out, at forever red we noticed that T.J. Has his turbo powers, but in power rangers turbo there was this episode where there were robot turbo rangers to help out in Eltar, now either that “was” the real T.J. Getting turbo powers through Tommy, OR its robot T.J. With his own turbo powers
rip jdf i miss him alot
Billy is even using a Rolex shirt. HAHAHAH
I think it was created by Billy but some knowledge from Hayley from Dino Thunder was required as she made the Morpher for the Dino Thunder team.
Mega Force became my favorite and the actors. I wish they can reboot it because that serious was short and rush.
And if Billy wanted to make more Master Morphers, Tommy could have been the "beta tester", as you said he had the most forms/colors/teams, who better to test it out with?
excellent point
Last comment.. I'd love a explanation of Billy creating the Master Morpher with old footage of him and Alpha, then him using it and ACTUALLY turning into the Gold Ranger for once
Dino Thunder. Note.. they state directly that Hayley helped/was the tech person for the powers.
It was announced in Bat in the Sun. Ninjor created the Master Morpher as well as the Power Coins
Most of stuff in power rangers is not explained in series lord zedd turns human after capsul break now lord zedd is back
The creation of the Dino thunder morphers was addressed in the flashback episode the redhead chic actually created the morphers she was a genius Tommy met in college
or based off the comics if they have access to the grid they have their powers, if the master morpher has a direct connections maybe he can use it as a type of hotspot to give other rangers access to the grid restoring their powers either temporary or permanently.
I'm wondering since tommy had the master Morpher and was able to morph into all of his past ranger forms if JJ could do it too
What if it came from Zordon/alpha/billy? What if they tie it into the new movie? Kind of like a wrap around/nod to JDF. Leaves it open for so much to happen. I believe it could happen
The question is, does it really make a difference if Tommy turns into another Ranger form? Does he really have different power? Is he stronger as red Zeo Ranger than he is as White Ranger? In my oppinion, he just changes the color and his weapon. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool that he can transform into any ranger he used to be and it's awesome that they brought back the Green Ranger. I'm just wondering.
Master Morpher ,that's dope
We got the Tools!
We got the talent!!!
It's Miller Time!!!
Best comment we ever had! Thanks for watching
You forgot to mention Haley, Tommy's college friend who like Billy was a genius inventor as well as engineer! She created the dino morphers so she couldve helped Billy build the morpher103%!
It was billy and Alpha they made the master Morpher of course he also help made the other Morpher in power rangers zeo also
