Wall texture is unbelievably versatile!
Yeah it is!
The wall texture spray is a great idea! Really makes them more organic. 999
I'm sooo glad you have this channel. I can't do any of this stuff at my house, but can live vicariously through your work! Thanks man!
I am so glad I found your channel. I love your tutorials. Simple and easy to follow with inexpensive fixes that add character!
Thanks so much!!!
The wall texture is a great addition!
Yes! It’s a versatile product that has a lot of Halloween potential.
I probably would have added some green around the stem. Just a tiny bit. But wall texture! Genius!!
RIP that blue blanket.
Thanks Derek! Looking forward to trying these techniques! 🎃👍
Awesome! Can't wait to see how they turn out.
Super glad I discovered this channel!!
Awesome stuff again! Big fan of the channel already and I have added this one to my page's Community DIY Tutorials playlist.
Thanks! I appreciate that.
looks spectacular!
Thanks, Mike!
Spooktacular*
Super cool idea! The texture spray!
Glad you like it!
Modge Podge Ultra!! Great idea!
Texture spray, of course! Why didn't I think of that? Guess it's time to buy some more foam pumpkins...
So talented. Loving this channel and running out of things to watch. 😟
Thank you! New videos on the way!
Awesome job! I was wondering how you would make one of these look like it’s rotten and moldy?
You might be able to take a heat gun to it to soften the foam and start to deform the shape, then follow it up with some moldy paint spots. Look online for reference images and use them as a road map. Good luck!
I have long sought a flat clear coat that doesn't darken a finish, in particular a powder finish or a metal patina finish. How does the ModPodge do in this regard?
I haven't noticed any change in coloring. Powder/Metal finishes are always tough. You're better off going with something like Alclad.
@@VanOaksProps thanks bud.
Ever try Modern Masters clear coat? (I have not)
@@DoktorHalloween Nope. Haven't had the opportunity.
Awesome
Thanks!
Nice!
Thanks!
Fantastic!
Thank you!
Rotting pumpkins are a huge thing this year!
Are they? I haven't noticed yet.
I bought some small funkins at The Dollar Tree and was going to start on this. Went to Wal-mart-Hell and couldn't find Mod Podge Ultra anywhere. They had other Mod Podge products, but not that one. Can you recommend another product that I could use?
Any version of Mod Podge will do. The benefit of Mod Podge Ultra is that's a spray on. You can brush on regular Mod Podge and it'll work the same way.
Can u use spray paint for the fake pumpkins u see at hobby lobby? If so what kind of spray paint?
You can, as long as they still have their base coat of latex paint. Otherwise you run the risk of melting the foam.
How does Mod Podge Ultra hold up in rainy conditions?
Really well. The protection is just like original mod podge, but there’s no brush strokes.
You'd never know it was one of those white craft foam pumpkins.
Thanks for the compliment! Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks it looks the part.
Love the wall texture spray idea, I’m going to try this out for this Halloween! Decorating this year inspired by Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday and I need 999 pumpkins!! @collinrileyriot
Great makeover, though that seam line on the stem is bugging me.
Yeah, if I did it again I'd definitely bend it into the rest of the stem.
