Audi A4 B8 2.0T Low Oil Pressure Solved 8K2 TFSI CAEB

I figured out and solved the low idle oil pressure on my A4.

I got this car cheap on craigslist because it had low oil pressure at idle. After going through a bunch of cheap possible fixes found on the internet that did nothing, I finally found the real issue. If you want to hear the whole story, then play my video from the beginning.
The error in VCDS was:
5582 - Oil Pressure Switch for reduced Oil Pressure
P164D 00 [044] - Malfunction

Hey Man, I'm getting similar issues. I see that in the start of this video your car is doing the same thing, oil pressure is high at idle and dwindles to like psi when warm. Do you remember if the oil pressure was fine at other rpms? Mine is fine everywhere other than idle and curious if my pump got stuck in that mode too

It was definitely not good at other rpms. It was lower than it should be. I think the max oil pressure in the low mode is like 25psi, so at higher rpms, your engine will not like that and probably suffer some damage.
