I called it an air compressor for a month and over 2 videos, it wasn't until I did the research towards the end that I figured out it was paint sprayer, now I'm into them! 🤣 Thanks for watching and the comments!
Thanks Kris. I know you are not on Instagram, but I posted there the other day where I tightened up the belt properly. Runs great and doesn't walk all over the place. Appreciate the support!
Dave- I couldn’t wait for Part 2 and you did not disappoint. Absolutely fantastic job all the way through. All you need to do now is make a custom plexiglass cover to place over it and place it in your living room! It’s that nice! 😃👍
"...plug it in. Hopefully it will run." Plugs it in and it literally starts running across the table. Fantastic job! I saw part 1 and was looking forward to this one. Came out great!
Wow, That turned out incredible. Maybe install some rubber feet on it so it stays still. Looking forward to seeing your next project. 2👍👍up Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
Thanks Greg, appreciate the kind comment. There are rubber feet, actually had to make them, tap the base to install. I think the belt being too loose caused it to shake and walk.
Looks fantastic! As for the motor mount bolts, it sounds like something Id do. "Let me put those here for safe keeping." Meaning, they are gonna be safe because Im never going to remember what I did with them. 😅
Thanks Dave, I was pretty happy with it. Right now it’s going to sit with my collections. I plan on a shop tour this summer! I doubt I’ll ever actually use it.
Oh gosh, I cannot remember! Next time I'm at the hardware store I'll take a look and let you know. I grabbed a few extra, but don't have the box or bag.
GEORGE from @Uwannawatch had his DOUBTS but I KNEW you would make dreams happen with that paint sprayer! I am STILL in shock, that he doubted you!!!! COMMY!
Absolutely beautiful!

Awesome job David, that thing looks great, and it works.
Thanks Mr. Dale, not going to use it every day, but it does work!
"...plug it in. Hopefully it will run."
Plugs it in and it literally starts running across the table.
Fantastic job! I saw part 1 and was looking forward to this one. Came out great!
I know it was flying across the table! I think the belt not being tensioned properly caused all the movement. Working on that this weekend.
Wow,
That turned out incredible.
Maybe install some rubber feet on it so it stays still.
Looking forward to seeing your next project.

nice work dude.
Thanks! Took a while, but worth the effort in the end.
Awesome project! It's like a work of art!
Thanks Magdad, was pretty happy with the outcome. I'm just glad the motor ran!
Back then they gave things style. Nowadays all the cars look the same .
Looks fantastic! As for the motor mount bolts, it sounds like something Id do. "Let me put those here for safe keeping." Meaning, they are gonna be safe because Im never going to remember what I did with them. 😅
LOL. I found them about a week later I. The bottom of my Evaporust bucket! They were clean! Thanks for watching.
@@westhighlandsshop Bet they were nice and clean!
Very nice. How fortunate to find a source to reproduce that nameplate. So, what will you do with this sprayer?
Thanks Dave, I was pretty happy with it. Right now it’s going to sit with my collections. I plan on a shop tour this summer! I doubt I’ll ever actually use it.
Where did you find a place to recreate that plate? Was it a print shop?
Yes, a placed called M&M engraving. I think it’s like a laser etching. Wasn’t cheap, but it really sets the motor off! Thank again.
Did you ever find the original bolts?
not yet, shop cleaning this week! Thanks for watching.
What size rivets did you use?
Oh gosh, I cannot remember! Next time I'm at the hardware store I'll take a look and let you know. I grabbed a few extra, but don't have the box or bag.
