- How to diagnose a Tennant t5e / Nobles SS5 with no power up. Diagnostic of the battery pack, battery connections, key switch, control relay (cr3), onboard charger interlock.
How to test with volt meter and bypass the charger plugged in interlock and the key switch.

Left my Nobles SS5 on for a few months, killed the batteries, they were old anyways so installed new Trojan T0105's & charged them up.
Now I have one solid Red light on the battery meter. despite having 24 volts.
Everything works but now I'm afraid to trust it on a job.
Any suggestions please?
1 flashing red is < 22 volts
Double check your series connections, cables and terminals
Get a volt meter dc voltage reading at the red and black leads coming of the pack to the machine
A new fully charged pack should read 26.3volts

If the Battery Meter went bad, can I just run it with a single solid red led or will the machine "think" low voltage and shut the machine down?

Single flashing light is likely to disable functions and using that badly depleted could cause failures

Hola, tengo un problema con mi máquina... El filtro que está en la parte de abajo se llena constantemente de una capa densa como "moco" y esto hace que no inyecte el agua parejo en los cepillos... Tengo que estsr limpiando el filtro constantemente... ¿Cómo puedo purgar o limpiar a fondo el tanque de abastecimiento de agua de la máquina? Gracias y saludos
Use 2-4 galones de vinagre y llené al bordo con agua y dejé remojando toda la noche para disolver minerales y jabón que se acumulan en los lados al irse bajando el nivel de agua cada cuantas horas agita la máquina para acelerar el efecto
También quizás use menos concentración de jabón, se necesita muy poca por la agitación de los cepillos
I'm having trouble with my nobles ss5 brush motors not turning on once in a while when when engaging the switches. The scrubber powers up fine. Thanks for any help.

If not that it’s the contactor or harness quick connect
All easily checked with volt meter

hi ,i have a question about battery not charging , i have 15v at main leads and only 5 v at second and third batteries ... charging display shows oo.oA what should i check?
Your prob too low at 15v to trip the charger safety relay under 18-19v most smart chargers will only trickle not full cycle
Check your cables and terminals for good connection and no corrosion, check your batteries every cell for electrolyte levels and add distilled water as needed, check your batteries individually and replace any battery under 4.9 volts (not likely to return to full capacity)
If you have budget constraints and low runtime performance expectations You may be able to use a cheap Amazon car battery charger that has a pulse/repair cycle option to get a severely discharged or under watered battery to take charge and return to 50-80% of rating but it’s a slow process and we’ve found a low reliability over time. It can be difficult to get any smart charger to engage with a battery under 2-3 volts. The depth of discharge and charge cycles depleted are another measure of whether batteries are worthy of the repair effort. A battery that has never been used and has sat may come back easily. A battery run hours every day used hundreds of times probably won’t.

@@powerkleenfloormachines-jo4881 i did removed all cables from batteries and charges each one individually rehooked all cables when i went to move the machine i had 24 v at batteries but as soon as i lowered the brushes it kill the batteries to 19v.....when i hook up to wall with machine charger i show 00.0a could one or more batteries be bad ?water levels in batteries are fine. i work at a nissan dealership we have a charger and with 6v capacity charging. before charging i had 1 battery with only 4.3v and the others were 5v and more,
hey i just changed the wheel out on one of the noble speed scrubber riders and now with the switch in the forward postion the scubber reverse alam comes on and drives in reverse! and vice versa... any info on that possibly?
Main power wires are reversed at connector or wheel typically
@@powerkleenfloormachines-jo4881 so the front drive unit has a reversible connector? i kind of gave up on it but ill give it a look when i go back in to work
