Nice work I've been a rock hound for about 40 years now. I use to glue tab my jewelry when I first started, now I pre-drill before tumbling I tabs. Once again nice work.

How long does it take you to drill each piece?

@@RockhoundingLife Not very long on the flats little longer on the verticals. The trick is use a good quality diamond drill i use Drilax 1mm

I use the Dremel 4300 with their router plung system. To keep the slabs stable (which is very important) I green glue the flats an use a jewlers vice for the verticals. I use my own jig an gravity fed water system.

Beautiful! I like free form pieces so these really appeal to me, especially the small green moss agate cutoffs. Thank you for showing the process from rough rock to finished pendant!

Every one of those is just beautiful! I watched a couple of videos this week of someone looking for garnets, it was in BC. Thanks for showing some local ones, I didn't know they were found here! Are they a beach rock or elsewhere?
I hope your fundraiser does well and best of luck on the Championship Travis!

They are found in a couple of places in Cape Breron. Anotger spot about 10 minutes up the road from my house. The garnets arent that big though and they are the dark variety.
