I reuploaded a version 2 of this level. I fixed some cheese and added a giant contraption to make it play trolly music when the player makes a large fall, an essential feature of Getting Over It.
This is my reproduction of Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy in SMM2. It's as close of a 1-to-1 remake as I could do. Some redesigns were necessary for things to function properly in SMM2 and feel challenging like the original game. -- Watch live at / goseigen

I have to say that I am impressed by your determination to add the snake! There's no way in hell I would have been able to put myself through playing through the whole level without a checkpoint, then doing it again from the snake checkpoint. Well done!

That would be nice but theres no restart from checkpoint button so you could end up permanently softlocked or having to wait very long to go back to a checkpoint
