You know it wasn't made by an actual boricua when they say it doesn't have enough salt or condiments in anyway. Specially in the rice!
YES. Your nose will literally go NUMB with the smell of sofrito because it's so salty.
They just need a Puerto Rican grandmother to cook for them lol
+Nadalia IMVU fr
exactly what I was thinking especially when the white people are talking lol
not enough adobo lmao, my grandma puts that on everything
"since it's a US territory I think it might be very American" I've never heard a stupider thing in my entire life
c. maxwell Agreed xD
c. maxwell for real, I face palmed myself because the stupidity is too much to handle
c. maxwell 😂😂😂
c. maxwell what would you expect from an american?
Gabriel Canino here comes the anti-american... -.-
I'm Puerto Rican and I found it so funny when they were like "I'm not tasting any spiciness" Puerto Ricans don't eat spicy foods AT ALL the spices give it flavor but it's not spicy😂😂😂 Mexicans eat spicy stuff... and if there was too much coconut in the coquito then someone doesn't know how to make coquito... coquito is supposed to be creamy... that drink looked like 50% of it was rum.
Andrea Rodriguez I beat a gringo made this food by the way the reacting to some of the dishes lol
Andrea Rodriguez They kept saying add Salt. Must Be Bland.
Cenzo Fuego Yeah they dont know about puertorican food. Mofongo is supposed to be sweet.
Andrea Rodriguez you mad
Andrea Rodriguez this is too true
This is a disgrace to people that are from Puerto Rico. Not enough salt? A real Person Puerto Rico did not make this
Kino Gaming exactly we always fill that ish with seasoning and sofrito and salt , a lot of salt , im dissapointed and hungry
Kino Gaming of course
Kino Gaming puertoricans make that food. OBVIOUSLY
Kino Gaming facts 😂
Where's the salt
I hate how they keep thinking its going to be spicy. ITS PUERTO RICAN NOT MEXICAN!!!
My sis said that to me (i was bornbin us she was born in puerto rico like my parents and my whole fam.)
*****, the "pique boricua" is A LOT MILDER (about JALAPEÑO-strength) than what many Mexicans are accustomed to and NOT EVERYONE adds it to food.
No mm ml km
Omg yes! I'm not Puertorican I'm Dominican but other cultures always think all latin countries eat/love spicy food!! We're not all the same !
Ikr smh
"It's a lot of potato for me"
...Girl.
Potato is our religion
OH
MY
GOD
IT'S AN ARMY XD
GIRL IS U PUERTO RICAN TOO? XD
Marina Medina I am! c:
Denisse Cortes 😂😂😂😂
where's the jibaritos? alcapurrias??? pastelles? pastelios?? bacaloitos???????? I'm hungry now. Puerto Rican food is the best.😄
lexi lou I know, right?
lexi lou But you really can't spell in Spanish!
YES
lexi lou GIRL THE ALCAPURRIAS THOOO...UGHHH😂
lexi lou omg si los bacalaitos 🙀 tengo hambre ahora y son las 11:30pm 😹
I'm Cuban and we eat everything these people just ate! Cuba and Puerto Rico are brothers bro❤️
Lianet Leyva in did we are :)
Lianet Leyva "Cuba y Puerto Rico; de un pájaro, las dos alas".
Cuba, Puerto rico and Dominican republic have really similar foods
@@croissant._.003 puerto rico's culture is based off of cuba's cultures so there's no need to bash cuba when they were the ones that originated most of the stuff in puerto rico now :)
Karoline S (I litterly dont remember writing that comment I’m so sorry idk wtf I was thinking I don’t ever want to bash any culture) (it was a 3 year old comment pls forgive my ass jdjdjdj)
I love my Puerto Rican food!
Btw. Puerto Rican food isn't know for being spicy. It is really flavorful and sometimes too salty for the American taste buds, but it isn't spicy like Mexican food.
Si, tienes toda la razón.
Yup
But was this Puerto Rican food made by a true Puerto Rican? Cause if the guy needed salt for the pork then something is wrong BTW hi from the island
Jay González I don't think it was the pork that needed salt but the plantain. Obviously whoever made the dish didn't put some good sazon in that sh!t
K1ngPugZ Exactly #adobolife
I'm questioning who cooked this. Cause our food is packed with flavor and the fact that some of these guys say that our food needs SALT?! It's just,... No. Also our food isn't spicy. We ain't Mexico
+TheOtherSideOfAlice yush
exactly what I was thinking, whoever cooked this didn't do a good job. didn't even have pernil and the Arroz con gandules looked so dry and bland.
+TheOtherSideOfAlice most food on the mainland in restaurants can actually be pretty salty, so if it's homecooked style it's more likely to be oily rather than salty. but ya, always funny to me how they think it'll be spicy just bc the people who make it speak spanish lol
yyyeessss preach it
+TheOtherSideOfAlice I SAID THE SAME THING!! Like if you seriously need more salt for your mofungo, then it ain't made right >.>
where my Puerto Ricans at ? 💜💜
Leslie Calle I'm making Rellenos De Papa tonight con mi tia!!!!
right here mami!, always representing la isla!
Leslie Calle right here 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
I am here!! Right in Pto. Rico..

Alexandra Albarran ikr. That’s the bestPuerto Rican food EVER in my opinion

Classic zack
I live in puerto rico!!!!
I live there to!
Vaya mi gente. Saludos de Hormigueros, Puerto Rico✌✌ #Boricuas
We Puerto Ricans don't go crazy with spices...
But that ADOBO tho ;)
We love sazon too
SAAAZZZOONNN.
Adobo and Sazon = love and life
SAZOOONNNN Y ADOBO
Paradise In A Box can't cook w/o adobo, sazon, sofrito or recaito.... just got to have them.
Why does everyone think Latinos eat spicy food? xDD That's only Mexico and Central America lmao
Peruvians eat spicy food
Lorena A That is true. But the rest of South America is definitely more savory/salty/sweet oriented.
Danny Martinez true, very true
***** no we don't lmao i do because I'm mixed with Asian but only a few countries do. Definitely not Caribbean or South American hispanics.
I wouldn't really classify Haitians as Latin American though...idk to me they're more Caribbean, and Latin America is more Spanish-based I'd say. I know it's technically in Latin America but I think culturally and cuisine-wise they're more Caribbean. Because Cubans and Puerto Ricans don't really like spicy things, unless it's on potato and meat. Even then most I know don't, but they're more sweet-salty-savory based. I know Dominicans are next door but from the ones I know they kinda have close food to Cubans...I noticed Caribbean countries are more savory-sweet-spicy. Cause I know Jamaica and The Bahamas and Antigua like spicier foods as well.
I'm Puerto Rican like if u are
ediel wonder isla del ecanto!
Joeneth Rivera 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
ediel wonder IM PUERTO RICAN IM HAPPY THEY LIKED IT!
🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
Puerto Ricans are LIT😊❤️
"Since it's a US territory, I feel like it will be very American" .... *facepalm* ALSO how are you gonna give these people Coquito sin Rum!? oh my God no! The rum is what makes it!
+Michelle Evans it was a horrible joke, i apologize.. it needed more rum
binx26 Coquito without rum is just a sugar bomb it's so sweet. The rum helps cut through the cream and cinnamon. spike it!
if it were up to me i def would have put more rum, and have a bigger serving >:)
+Michelle Evans I love coquito, but I dont like it with rum, idk, personal opinion. My family always makes two servings, with and without rum. I always take without XD BORICUUUA!
+Michelle Evans i know
Thanks Buzzfeed for making this Puerto Rican girl hungry
yes i understand you lol i feel the same
I feel you on a spiritual level girl
I feel you. I now feel like asking my mom to make some arroz con gandules and some mofongo.
I feel like going to the kitchen and getting the arroz con gandules out!! I feel ya! 😩
Now i want Mofongo with Carne Frita..!!! :'(
No Malta? Or pasteles? Or pernil??? OK. Now I'm hungry.
when people say it taste horrible ☹ why....
CRAZY Cubing That what tastes horrible? About the only thing my anglo friends don't like is malta. leaves more for me :)
or Limber de coco!
Is Malta Puerto Rican or Dominican? My family uses it all the time
Malta is Puerto rican
A boriqua definitely didnt make the food because they kept saying it lacked salt. If a boriqua had made that their tastebuds would have been blessed lmaooo. They missed so many good foods by sticking to the basic ones. Where are the sorrullios? where are the pasteles? where is the pernil? where is the serenata de bacalao? where is the fricase? Sancocho? Que paso aqui?
now i wish i had sancocho rn thanks
Natalie Baez .Sancocho is sooo good
Natalie Baez after reading your comment you made me hungry girl OMG, Our food is the best!
Pernil is E V E R Y T H I N G
Natalie Baez puerto ricans dont say boriqua you nyrican ! The word is boricua get it right broooo.

Ayy I'm from Yauco Puerto Rico! 😜
YAAAS PUERTO RICO!
What about quenepas, pastelitos, or even alcapurrias? Those are just some of my favorites lol
And how about food you can buy at a red light in PR like bananas and Chicklets ?
Now you've just made me more hungry. Thanks.
oh my god I love pastelitos
I actually have a bag of quenepas that I bought at he beach the other day for like a dollar. Soooo gooooood! And I love pastelitos!
And Platanos too Q-Q
I love being Puerto Rican so much

+Paulina Paulino Lopez same here ❤️🇵🇷
Same.
Me too!

where's the pernil tho????
What is pernil?
Iren Kolar pork
+Iren Kolar. Pork Shoudler, very good😊
Cyndy Vangas and the "pavo"
@@missirenchan is like meat or turkey idk how to say it
I find your lack of alcapurrias disturbing
masterYoshimistsu Jhahahah nice one. Es verdad faltaba una alcapurria & un bacalaito con piña colada.
masterYoshimistsu Alcapurrias!!!
Faltaron alcapurrias, pasteles, bacalaítos, empanadas, hasta morcilla. Deben hacer la segunda parte.
I was Just saying the same thing!!!
Mita Escandon empanadillas, guanimes con bacalao, boliollos, arros con dulce y mucho mas jaja
What type of arroz con gandules was that?? Looks terrible!! You wouldn't see it like that in Puerto Rico
I don't like it but most people do
I don't know who made it, but they should've had an actual puertorican mom make it because you know they cook it the best
Ura Mescudi Should have had my grandma make arroz con gandules.
Seriously I thought I was the only one!! it looks burned!!
Ura Mescudi they didn't have a puertorican making them u.u
Puerto Ricans are perfect. Science has backed it up.
That's very true my friend
Just to clarify, we are not like Mexicans. We enjoy some spicy foods but our foods don't consist of that type of pallet. No offense to Mexicans, I love them💍💕 All Hispanic cultures are different and special in their own way. and you better be proud to embrace it🔥 In my opinion, I don't think a boricua cooked those meals. To me, growing up, the rice was never tht "yellow" and the mofongo was mixed with shrimp, pork, chicken etc. And the coquito looked really liquidy. Its usually thicker. And one more thing... Yes, we are American territory, BUT WE DONT HAVE AMERICAN FLAVORS! Un poco de savon, adobo, la cosa verde que abuela tiene en la neveda, AND MUCHO more! Growing up with the music, and the dancing, and the rhythm, and adding those flavors it's like the cherry on top! It's made to make people happy!😊 YO SOY BORICUA! PA QUE TU LO SEPA!
Right! And the mofongo, someone said the the plantain was dry and I’m like, “Someone better give that man some of that juice from he pork to pour over!! Serve it to them right, come on now!” 😂
Still patiently waiting for an African food taste test... from any country... there are 54 to choose from... PICK ONE DAMMIT!!
QueenLola Ive seen the African snack video but not food like actual meals
QueenLola check out all def digital :) they did one!
They should do a Ethiopian taste test
***** south african
Yes that would make my day! Nigerian!
To all the dominicans that are saying that mofongo it's Dominican u are wrong ,MOFONGO IS PUERTO RICAN ,MANGU IS DOMINICAN
they did but right know u cant go to Africa and ask for a mofongo or mangu do you?
CEtrick LOL Yes, actually you can, but just like in Latin America, certain areas might have slightly different names and ways of preparing it.
,i look for african food in google xD and they dont have anything that looks like mofongo or mangu... anyway
puerto ricans and dominicans are proud of their african hertiage...
CEtrick LOL Trust me they do, I've had it.
+CEtrick LOL Mofongo (fufu in Cuba) is the Afro-Caribbean version of African fufu. They are somewhat similar in preparation, but far apart in seasoning and taste.
Wheres the pasteles
Yup!
si
I WAS WONDERING THE SAME!!!
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO COMMENT THAT
ikr my grandma makes pastels for new yrs every yr it's sooo good!!
They made Arroz con gandules sooooo wrong 😂😂😂
YO SOY BORICUA! PA QUE TU LO SEPAS!! Only Puerto Ricans or people who have lived in PR will get this haha
AMEN
Yo Te quiero Puerto Ricoooooooo
Gary Alejandro Ortiz I dont get it XD >> JK lol
Boricua!!
Esa es la q! :D
Why do people automatically think Puerto Rican food is spicy. Real Puerto Rican food isn't spicy at all. It's usually more sweet
Yeah! We believe in spices, but not so much as spicy as sweet.
Finally I'm not the only one 👏🏽👏🏽
Kaylah Ingemi They're from LA, they think all Hispanic food is like Mexican food.
Kaylah Ingemi Ugh yes. I'm Venezuelan and people automatically assume Venezuelan food is spicy too.
Kaylah Ingemi yeah it gets me very mad, Im puerto rican myself and the food in here is not spicy at all
MY PEOPLE!!!!! BORIQUA!!!!!
my people too
BORIQUA!
jay oliver Eso essss puñetaa

Never expected Adam Levine worked at Buzzfeed.
Levine
me the whole time, is that Adam Levine??? nahhhh, oh wait it is
It's not Adam Lavine.
+Eric Wininger Oh he isn't? Hmm.. please tell me why you say so my friend
I've always tough that
No tostones? I am disappoint.
fealubryne I KNOW RIGHT , and also no pasteles nor tembleque or arroz con dulce like WHHATTT
fealubryne yea but tostones are not only from puerto rico
Isabela Ramirez they are originally from Republic Dominican or Cuba don't remember im Puertorican btw
They are not pour to Rican lol stop trying to steal our food .
Exactly tffff

what is coquito ???
rbeck3200tb40 a seasonal drink made of coconut, condence milk and rum....there's more to the recipe if you wanna make it just search in google
Alex Marie yes
My family and I take shots with it
I'm Puerto Rican and I am some what offended that every American thinks Hispanic countries are all spicy. Puerto Rico is not Mexico.
+William Rodriguez pues tu también estás en las mismas, Mexico tiene 32 estados con culturas y comidas muy distintas, no todos los platillos en México son picantes -_- Otros países como Perú y Ecuador también consumen chile en su dieta para tu información.
+Angel Torres We are here talking about food not political issues...
+William Rodriguez Why do you care so much about what Americans think?
+William Rodriguez I know right! Most of the people in the U.S assume all latin american cultures are variations of mexico, such a sad thing man.
+William Rodriguez puerto rico for life
why does America thinks every Latin food taste spicy
Racism
Because in America when you say your Hispanic everyone goes straight to "oh ur Mexican?" Also the media pretty much only uses Mexicans when representing Latinos
TheOtherSideOfAlice yep
OMG YESSSS like just because the place is Hispanic or Latin doesn't mean it's gonna be spicy like Puerto Rico and spicy do not mix!!
Omg facts like I'm Puerto Rican and don't get me wrong my family loves spicy food but it's not like we are known for that
No eggs on white rice???
best breakfast..
Daniel Quintero OMG LITERAL ESO ES INFANCIA
Daniel Quintero same I eat that when I was little
GTA6 THUG GAMING is still eat this
With ketchup
They didn't even taste our Piña colada Sancocho cuchifrito and pastelon plus the mofongo comes with caldo and meat or sea food.
When they say things need salt, obviously the food isn't being made by tia or abuela, cuz Puerto Rican food never needs anything added to it. At least in my 24 years of eating it
Puerto Ricooooo!!! :D I'm glad they liked our food!! I would have put on the video maybe "arroz con habichuelas y chuleta frita" but everything on the video was good anyway :)
Sonaliz Cotto yaaaassss
Is ur food african inspire or what
That's what I was thinking lol
Amish Ballerina honey we are a mix of africa, spain and tainos(I dont know how to say tainos in english sorry)
Yass
Really shocked people haven't tried Puerto Rican food. Maybe it's because I'm so used to eating it.
Saturn Galactic exactly😂😂
Spicy? Lol idk about y'all but I'm puertorican and Peruvian and out of expierance I've learned Puerto Ricans don't like spicy foods lol and it's almost rare to find one that does lmaooo. They def don't have the pallet for it 😹 our foods more sweet and or savory but not spicy lol I've only met one PR that liked spicy foods and that's only cause his surroundings were more of Mexicans lol
i love spice. the spicier the better
Not true we make our own hot sauce (pique) which is usually extremely hot and savory
I like hot sauce on my pasteles with a little bit of ketchup. I like it with codfish too. I'm actually immune to spice ever since I have eaten ghost peppers whole, lol.
So I'm rare yay I LOVE spicy food!
Agreed ! I find that Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and Cubans skip on the spice but favor savory/sweeter foods
Being Puertorican, I feel you guys should have had the island's signature drink Pina Coladas! Nowhere on EARTH will you EVER have a Pina Colada like the one you will get from downtown PR. Que Viva La isla del encanto!!
+EverydayBeautiful L.A. P.s. Mofongo....My FAVORITE food from the island by far along with Morsilla and Penil roasted over the fire. MMMMM
you guys should make more Puerto Rican videos
+Nissin14. ...????
All of y'all should fight me
yeah
Yeah
YEP
Not enough salt!?! What fake PuertoRican cooked that crap up?
The "little oily" for American taste, that I believe.
Arnaldo Colón ikr they forgot half of the best foods as well
Salt not good for ur health
Ha! Ha! I was thinking the same.
I know, right? I heard someone call something "bland". I have never had "bland" Puerto Rican food, come on! It's super condimented. Must have gotten a crappy cook. LOL
LOL
no mayo ketchup loll that would be great to see them try loll
Yes with some tostones
1jazzyphae or with chuletas (I now it's weird)
yeeeeees!!!!!
They forgot the mayo ketchup for el mofongo
Guys mayoketchup is fry sauce 😐😂
All of the food looked so GOOD. I want all of it, right now! XD
I got really hungry on the Drawing a vagina video.. If you know what I mean
i can make every single one, im puertorican
Why would anyone anticipate spiciness from Puerto Rican food? I'm confused. Since when is Puerto Rican cuisine known for being spicy...
thenerdshopper They confuse Puerto Rico with Mexico that's why they thought it will be spicy. For a lot americans if you speak spanish you are automatically mexican.
Alexa Marie Pretty much. You can't expect them to know every single difference between all the Latin America countries... They are mainly fond of Mexico which is probably known for spicy cuisines.
Everything is batman They pretty much know how puertorrican food is since I live there and trust me, is always full with americans
Maybe because they have no idea what Puerto Rican food is like. Some cultures are known for spicy foods and some aren't, so it's not crazy to think Puerto Rico might have spicy food if you're not sure what it's going to be like.
+thenerdshopper Caribbean food is not Spicy. They are confusing Mexican food and Puerto Rican food from the Caribbean.
Where were my PASTELESSSS?!
That mofongo looks so wrong. It makes me sad 😔
Hard as a rock.. my poor teeth..
I know because some times puerto Ricans make it dry but it depends how you make it . because some make it dry 😬. And some don't
proud to be boricua❤️💙

THUMBS UP IF YOU'RE PUERTO RICAN!
I’m 🇵🇷and 🏴
I'm puertorican so I love seeing people like you're culture and food
Ever latin country does spanish rice and beans...they should have served Acalpurritas, pasteles, tostones and bacaloitos. Those are much more Puerto Rican exclusive.
lmao, she took a bite and says "It's a lot of potato for me." ~eye roll~
People Taste Test Dominican Food....

same waiting for dominican food
Just uploaded to Pero Like ;)
that's exactly what I was thinking
verdad? y las alcapurrias y pionono
so glad to see puerto rico making it on such a good channel! seems most people usually just generalize it all as "latino/hispanic" or, throw out something mexican to represent all latino places. thank you so much and great video!!!
hey buzzfeed, you should definitely do a second video with puerto rican food. There's many more I think they wood enjoy such as: platanos and penil
UnheardFantasy i agree with you. there's so much good food that was left out. but either way I'm glad they even did this video in the first place :)
And now I'm hungry. Also, if you ever have to ask for more salt, SOMEONE didn't add enough sazon.
Puerto Ricans don't do spice. that's a Mexican thing.
Chelsea Denise I hate that people confuse Mexico w/ Puerto Rico
Carlos Concepcion are you saying I am? Because I have NO confusion.
Carlos Concepcion lol oh well I'm Hispanic. gringos get everyone confused
Exactly ... We do sofrito 🤗🙌🏻
Alexandra Albarran uh huhh
I am from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and our food is awesome
Where are the puertorican pasteles? xD
IllusiveJoe Is not the time, yet.
IllusiveJoe, ANOTHER CHRISTMAS SPECIALTY, since they're hard to make homemade (the effort is on grating with "elbow grease" and a metal grater the starches on which you fill with cubed beef or pork and your optional garbanzo beans and/or raisins). Then it's wrapped in white paper, and if you're a purist (and take the effort) double-wrapped in plantain/banana tree leaves, then double tied in twine before boiling them...
IllusiveJoe those are life!
syxepop 7755v. Vbv vcf. Ç
Yeahhhhhhhh were's the pasteles???!!!!
"since it's a us territory i think it might be very american" ............stop.
+Belle Lola the ignorance of a lot of american folks.
And the fact that they thought it was gonna be spicy...... Stoppppppp itttt noooooo
Yeah us puertoricans don't add much spice. But that adobo tho! and sazon! delicious :p
even thought I'm Cuban the man in the red hoodie kept on saying something rude or making a joke on stuff that wasn't funny
yeah, no. it reminds me of those idiots who say that they're native American because they're from the America so that automatically makes them native American smh
The girl at the beginning who said that she was anticipating that it would be American because Puerto Rico is a US territory.... 🙄🙄🙄 I almost didn't watch this for that comment alone 😩😂
Y'all gotta come here, I'll feed you some authentic Puerto Rican food. I mean, all of those are authentic but when you eat it here it's just better.
Time to ask my puerto rican friend what the hell is mofongo...
It's platains with a sort of meat like shrimp, pork, steak, etc. Sooooooooooooooo good
Mofongo is a dish with fried and mashed plantains typically served with pulled pork, shrimp, or chicken.
Sounds like a African pornstar
Indra P. Or you know, google it like a normal person...
I might be wrong but i think its mashed up plantains tell me if im right
Ok, now dominican food please
Yessssss
Yesss, arriba la República
roy toseton haha yes please!
They already did I think.
@OSHO They sort of did, but not a complete devoted video on Dominican food :(
i feel like the term "looks can be deceiving" was specifically made for puerto rican food. my friends come over & will immediately think my nana(grandma) made some spicy food when really it's just a lot of seasoning & they love it , lol.
Puerto Rican dnt do spicy all like that,
Mexicans love it.
Pasteles, tembleque, morsilla, hahahaha
Tep8u Tostones!!!
Si, faltaron esas. Faltaron las mas populares.
No vuelven a comer de alla 😂😂😂
Las empanadillas de pizza
Alcapurrias , dulce de coco xD
"Im expecting rice and beans" THATS RACIST
I know makes me so angry haha.
lol
when they said that i swear thiw was my face
-.-
rlly? just... rlly? -.-
we eat that but hey it's not like we're recognized by only eating rice and beans bc in P.R we have things unique to only us! 😝
+Naty 'fighting spirit this*
i'm puertorrican btw 💪♥
Well this escalated quickly...
Kind of annoyed that girl said she was expecting beans and rice....really?
American's always think latin food is spicy
YESSS finally! I was waiting for this. Boricua here!

I’m Puerto Rican and I love our food!
Ugh, serio? Since when does mofongo need salt? Some white lady from Nebraska named Mindy must be making the food.
People try Sri Lankan food please
Is it similar to Indian food? I have never tried Sri Lankan food, but I know its an island off the coast of India. Lol. Sorry if I sound ignorant
Yes ! Sri Lankan here 👍🏼
Sri Lankan food is completely different to Indian food. How do I know it ? I am a Sri Lankan living in India.
Shanika haha. That's a perfect reply!
I heard that pakistani food is similar to indian
Donald trump should try some hispanic cuisine and maybe he'll have some second thoughts....
***** He is unworthy.
***** Yeah i would put "3 pasitos" in that food just to give it a kick (If you know what i mean)
***** Omg this made my day thank u
PrinceMaze Amen.
PrinceMaze, LOL by someone suggesting THAT (just Google what that is, 'nuff said...).
I totally agree! US food markets need to replace Egg Nog with Coquito!
Yeah, baby!
Where are the empanadillas????
And queso en la plancha , And tembleque
anime collector Hiciste q me dieran ganas de empanadillas
Mis favoritas son las de carne
I am Puerto rican and I can say this plates are aunthenthic. But PLEASE dont say "I expect spicy" it is very rare to do out food spicy.
Sorry for bad english
our*
Verdad que si? Es bien raro encontrar un plato aqui en Puerto Rico que sea picante.
exacto, igual si hablamos espanol dicen que somos mexicanos xD
***** Tu inglés está bueno. No te preocupes.
I went to Puerto Rico for 1 week and the didn't have any chile or salsa which sucked
That was not real Puerto Rican food... They kept saying it needed more salt... Puerto Ricans use Adobo... A. LOT. OF. ADOBO
And sofrito
Yeah we do and some time some spices so that's not our food
Hell if anything we need less adobo 😂
Yeah we're not spicy but we're not bland.
exactly!
I'm Puerto Rican and it's such a common misconception that our food is spicy! We prefer savory over spicy!
Where the balcaloitos at?
RosiePosieGurlly Conigliaro Los bacalaitos* 😂
IKR!

Sadie L I have seen piles of Coquito in some houses some even have pistachio, and you try to figure our which has more rum. But if anyone is nostalgic there is a restaurant in Orocovis, P.R. called el Navideño, they have all the food you eat during Christmas time all year. The place is really nice decorated and everything.
