The odds of you never losing 3 times in a row over 9 years are approximately 1,000,000,000,000,000 to 1!

I was in highschool when Jordan was drafted and it was something to see to where you didn't want to miss a game and I didn't, my dad had got cable also.
I look at Jordan as the Goat when he led his team too their 1st 3 consecutive championships in which the Bulls Franchise became a dynasty. He is the leader who led his team with only 1 All-star besides himself and 2 of those championship runs Pippen wasn't selected to the All-star team. Jordan is the first and only player in NBA history, who was drafted to his 1st NBA team and led the team with no Championships to 2 /3peat. To become a Dynasty.

  • @editorodriguez6554

Jordan is the goat and he truly built something in Chicago once they were winning champions there was no knocking them down and to not lose three games on a roll that just shows you not only is either go but the balls were just unstoppable That is something that we can never say about LeBron. He has never bought anything. He’s never built a dynasty never helped anybody and his teammates get better. All he ever did was help from team to team to take the easy way out. That’s why he will never be the goat not only because of that but because he has not reached Jordan’s accomplishments and never will. He’s just been manufactured by the league since he first set foot to be something that he’s not and will never be

For our information, here's how many games Jordan missed during that stretch. During the 1st 3peat, Jordan missed six games and Chicago went 1-5 in those games. During the 2nd 3peat, the Bulls went 0-0 when Jordan was out because Jordan didn't miss a single game, rather he couldn`t as Rodman and Pippen missed more than 40 games each during the same time period.😂

Ha... Only a GOAT could climb a mountain that much higher than any other animal. (My copyright that phrase!) You can see this in so many of his videos. We see who had the highest peak and durability / longevity on bringing results. Seriously on a much much much higher level than any other great player on great team or even superteam. Simply the best!!
And I don t think he was aware of the streak, he was just refusing to lose 3 in a row, he couldn t stand it.

I don’t think Jordan was aware of the total streak, I think he just got to the point where he did not want to have a 3 game losing streak. That was one of those things that got him to amp up his game. The flu game is a standout, if he can stand, he can play. Pippen playing with his back pain, was out there as a decoy. MJ with food poisoning was out there as a one man show.

2023, the Year of the Underdog - Here’s Why It Matters Now
Let’s talk about an 8-seed-the Miami Heat. A team that clawed their way into the playoffs through the back door of the play-in tournament. Not just surviving-thriving. They didn’t just beat the odds; they rewrote them. 🤖✨
The Bucks? ❌ Gone. The Knicks? 🗽 Dusted. The Celtics? ☘ They came back from the dead just to be buried again in Game 7. 💀
This wasn’t just basketball. 🏀 It was art-a masterclass in grit and perseverance. 🎨💪
In 2023, the Miami Heat weren’t a team of superstars; they were a story. 📖 Jimmy Butler, their heart and soul, played like a man possessed, dragging his squad through the trenches. 🛠 Undrafted players-guys who weren’t supposed to make it-rose to the occasion. Caleb Martin became a sniper 🎯, and Gabe Vincent played like he’d been to the Finals before.
And Bam Adebayo? 🛡 He was the wall. The anchor. The soul of a defense that could smother even the most dazzling offenses. 🌟
Their journey to the Finals wasn’t smooth or pretty-it was brutal and honest. Like Hemingway wrote, “A man can be destroyed but not defeated.” That was the Miami Heat. 🤖🔥
They didn’t win the title, but in losing, they left something greater: proof that the underdog still has teeth. 🐾✨

Also just as incredible: He only lost 2 in a row 16 times in that span and 4 times in the playoffs (in the equivalent of 1.5 seasons against only the best competition in the league nightly). I can remember all 4 in the playoffs: 93 Knicks, 95 Magic, 96 Sonics and 98 Pacers.

Hmmm... I guess Jimmy's stat about the playoffs is wrong since in this video he mentions the 97 jazz. Still.... only losing 2 times in a row 5 times in 126 games is impressive AF.

You should watch jimmy create his own top 75 players of all time list. It’s all numbers no opinions and a fantastic objective list.

Competitiveness isn't a stat you find in a box score, but YOU DO find in the standings, as a W.

I don't if he was aware of that streak.
But I do think that MJ understood some truth about basketball.
And I'm pretty sure I can hear MJ saying to himself, no way I will lose three games in a row, no way

The crazy thing is Michale basically shortened his career by five or six years by being in college and retiring twice

Imagine he would also have the longevity check too and his scoring would even be greater so he would have probably reached the pinnacle of scoring I. The nba as all time points getter not correct myself he would have definitely done it

I saw the 1 in 1 Quadrillion stat and immediately thought of Jim Carrey saying "So you're saying there's a chance!" (Dumb and Dumber). Edit: Didn't the Lakers promise something this season like they wouldn't/can't afford to lose 3 in a row? We know what happened there lol.

The odds of him playing MLB should be factored in there somewhere the second 3peat may not have happened if he could hit a curveball.

he might have considered the streak but more than likely he hated losing so much that more than twice in a row was wake up time for the demons inside

I knew it was this video was about this stat from the title/thumbnail.
If this stat doesn't scream greatest I don't know what will. I don't think MJ knew, he probably was really hungry any time he lost twice and it created this streak involuntary, he however knew by Wizard MJ. I think there's an interview where the coach talks about MJ and after the game when it happened and the guy didn't knew but MJ did and one of the staff told what was happening or maybe I'm confusing with his at least 10 point stretch.
Greatest team of all time I don't know however, one of the greatest team of all time is 86 Celtics and we all know those guys were MJ kryptonite (sorry Isaiah it's not your bad boys). Kinda poetic that the last team to give MJ three loss in a row is this aged Celtics team.
