    I’m disappointed that the exterior is so bland. I’m thinking about purchasing a new 2022 model.

    • @SIIKAP1
      @SIIKAP1 Год назад +7

      Same but the 2022 is gonna be so dated real soon. Interior small screens, old tech, old looking rear design, and a less safe car in crashes

    • @Rip84LW
      @Rip84LW Год назад +3

      Better get one now. Dealers don’t really have them anymore. I got mine two months ago. I don’t like the new design of the new accord. Don’t care about the new tech. I wanted the 2.0t and this new accord does not offer it anymore. Cheers

    • @Dis2good
      @Dis2good Год назад +2

      After watching dozens of videos over the past few weeks (and especially seeing it in the sport trim), it has grown on me. I didn’t like it at first but i do like the clean line. I agree the 2022 is already starting to look dated now. The only issue is that they don’t offer the 2.0 any longer. But the tech and interior make up for it in my opinion.

    • @SIIKAP1
      @SIIKAP1 Год назад +2

      @@Dis2good ikr. The car grows on you and even if it’s not as sexy as the 10th, it’s still decent. The big seller is the new tech and safety it has. Add a 2.0T and many would be happy

    I prefer the last generation, Honda is doing the common thing now where all models share the same headlight shape and general look. The acccord just looks like a bigger civic, the pilot just looks like a bigger crv. I miss the individuality of models.

    Extremely disappointed to see the 2.0 liter dropped. It was a Bimmer killer in disguise. The new model's styling is sedate compared to the 10th generation which resembled an Audi Quattro Sportback.

    I will say this: As a Honda buyer, If Toyota still has their Camry TRD 300hp V6 models, then I’m never going to look back at the pitiful 192hp 1.5T Accord and this 206hp hybrid. I loved the older 278hp 2017 V6 Honda Accord’s and even the 252hp 2018 2.0T Accords that used to win drag races against Ecoboom Mustangs; but if this pitiful 192hp is all they got that’s not a hybrid, then I am no longer on the market for an Accord, and the Accord is dead to me.
    I understand that not enough people bought these higher hp products, but it’s just sad to see the performance options of V6, V8, and 2.0T disappearing.

    • @jeffreyfurtado3681
      @jeffreyfurtado3681 Год назад +3

    The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these glaring deficiencies will be resolved.

    I would rather get a 2023 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring instead of this boat. I used to have one actually. Excellent car! But i missed the power and styling of the 2.0t Accord Sport so i traded in the Civic for a 2022 Accord 2.0t Sport in Sonic Gray as soon as i saw the promo pictures of the new Accord. I was like nope! I dont like the new Accord at all. Apparently Honda is giving us a Hybrid version of the touring civic hatchback too. I might just end up getting that once and if i get sick of the gas miles on my 2.0t Accord. For now i am still enjoying it. Super fast, its aggressive styling and more curves compared to the new one. To be honest the new one does not look horrible but i will say this. It just looks like a normal car now. Not a head turner. I am already wanting a refresh. If they add the 2.0t back into it with the refresh and made the front look more mean and then maybe shorten the car because its too long then it could be a killer. I am like 99 percent sure Honda will not do that though.

    Anyone else notice the Accord Hybrid now has 91 octane recommendation from Honda? Ugh. I've had 7 straight leased high-end Accords, but the new one is too long for my garage. The 91 octane would have been the final kibosh, taking the edge off the hybrid fuel savings.

  • @savethemanuals1597

    Wait for the new redesigned Toyota Camry comes out. Toyota has huge potential right now, and I'm sure it's going to dominate the Accord in style, fuel economy and still price. I think the new Accord is way too big for a midsize sedan. Sure the Accord has a massive trunk but the opening of it still sucks. Yes lots of legroom in the new Accord however the headroom suffers. And as for the styling journalists are saying it looks a lot like an Audi A7 which I totally disagree. New tech in the Toyota will have to see but I'm not a big fan of the big screens anyways.
    Overall great review! You have mentioned things that I have not heard from other reviewers, which I appreciate.

      Nobody likes your ToyoTAXI camry, it belongs in the street, the TAXI fleets of AvIS, Budget, Fox, Thrifty.. ToyoTAXI will come out with a “Rebranded/renamed tech as they always have been and if you’re lucky they will not conceal “Safety defects” as they have been caught doing before and paid hush money for it.
      Plus toyoTAXI will get you to buy in cheaply in it’s taxi fleet form then upsell you everything to get out of the TAXI fleet platform. Then later on they’ll have you pay for features you already paid via Subscripton to continue using those features, talk about Spirit Airline type of business.
