Hello Sami. "Viewfinder mode," is the standard shooting method with a DSLR camera. This would be where you are looking through the viewfinder of your camera to focus and compose the shot. Live view is when the camera's reflex mirror is locked in the up position, the shutter curtain is opened, and the camera's imaging sensor is activated so that you can view on the rear LCD display.

Hello Jim Catanzaro. Unfortunately, the Rollei Beta 3 will not work on Canon's 2000D/Rebel T7 DSLR. Hello BIG J PRODUCTIONS. Canon cameras will typically produce this error message with some non-Canon branded flashes and all Universal (fully manual) flashes. This doesn't mean that the flash won't work, but that you can't use the camera's menu to change functions on the flash. For instance, If you own the Altura Photo AP-C1001 TTL flash for Canon cameras, the camera and flash will communicate to give you a properly exposed image but you won't be able to use the menu options in the camera to change settings. All changes must be done through the flash unit itself. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

Hello, Kristie. If your other flash has an optical wireless sensor mode you will be able to use your Sunpak flash on your camera to trigger it manually. If you are looking to control an off-camera flash remotely in TTL, you would need to purchase an additional Sunpak df4000u flash. Thanks for watching!
Hello guys, I just purchased the Altura Flash for my Canon T6i but when I attach it to the hot shoot and go to menu / external flash settings... it tells me that the Flash is not compatible? And it doesnt work at all. I even tried it on my T3i and it doesnt work... Please help me out with this. Thanks I look forward to hearing from you. Randell
+PlatinumSouls1 Hi! Please set your flash while the camera is on manual and while the flash is turned on.
Ive tried that but when I go to the external flash option on the camaras menu it says "device is not recognized"..
+PlatinumSouls1 That's strange. Would you mind sending us your phone number and a good time to call you to troubleshoot this issue with you? You can send it to us through a private message or at info@gojasales.com
+Digital Goja hi I have the same problem this person did, I bought an Altura flash for my canon t6i under the impression they would work together, but when I try to setup my flash it says incompatible, how do I fix this?
+Sherie M Hi Sherie, please try using this flash and your camera in full manual mode. If this does not work, please send us an e-mail to info@gojasales.com with your order ID number and issue so that we can assist you better.

+Amir Shaikh Hi Amir, please go to your external flash function setting menu. Once you are at this menu, select the flash mode option and change it to TTL mode.
Hello fellow camera operators. I have Canon EOS Rebel ZSI & EOS 7D Mark II. When I attach the Speedlight NW610 to hot shoot to either camera & into the flash control external flash func. setting. Both camera's tell me "This menu cannot be displayed. Incompatible flash or flash's power is turned off."
The power on the speed light is on & the speed light works without being synced to the camera. Can anyone give me any feed back as to why the speed light isn't syncing to my camera's.
Thanks & best regards
AJ Miller
Hi, probably the software is not compatible.
Meaning. Both camera's firmware needs updated?
The software of the flash unit is probably not compatible and up to date with the software of the camera.
Can I assume there's firmware for the Speedlight NW610. I haven't researched this yet so that's why I'm asking since you've rapidly responded. Which I like & thank you for.
We suggest you to contact the manufacturer of that flash unit, as we are not familiar with it.
I did not canon 6d mark ii help me please
Hi, what is the issue that you have?
I have the same camera and it doesn’t set up in menu camera you used for your tutorial??
No flash control in menu like the one displayed
I dont understand , I have a 1200D , and I want to use the flash externally , so not being connected to the camera itself. How do I do that ???
+Jacques Bichler Hi Jacques, you have to shoot on full manual exposure, recommended starting point is ISO400 1/125 at F8 about 10-12 feet from subject.
Thats fine , but the flash still doesn't work if it's not connected directly to the camera. It appears the 1200D doesnt have Wifi capabilities and the 430EX can only be used when mounted on the camera
+Jacques Bichler Hey Jacques, if you don't use a trigger set then you'd have to buy a speedlite transmitter or another flash like the 600exrt.
yep , thats it !
When I attach my flash to my camera, it will fire only if it is set to manual on the flash with 1/1 power. When I try to adjust the flash control, I get a message saying "this menu cannot be displayed, incompatible flash or flash's power is turned off." is this a problem with the hot shoe?
+Derek Dunn please send us an e-mail to info@gojasales.com with your order ID number and issue so that we can assist you better. :)
sir can you please help me,
the flash control is not in the menu and the external flash didn't work.
Hi Renjo! Make sure you camera is set to Manual Mode on the dial.
thank you
It's always a pleasure!
Mine won't switch to Movie Mode Please help me when I switch to the Sports/food/video mode it will always get back to the Manual mode please help me I'm using Canon 1300D
Hi Genz! Make sure to set the camera dial to video mode and start recording with the REC button above the screen. Please check the user manual for a detailed explanation about video mode of your camera: gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/8/0300022698/01/eos-rebelt6-1300d-im-en.pdf page 159.
I don't usually use my viewfinder to take pictures I like to use the LCD screen but flash doesn't fire when I use the LCD screen on my Canon 60D.
any ideas of how to fix it?
Thank you
Hi Carlos! As mentioned before, you will need to use your camera viewfinder if you want to use an external flash. The flash won't fire if your camera LCD is on.
Canon D1500 external falesh konshi lagti hae
I'm so sad that after I recieved my external flash it seemed that it doesn't compatible with my camera canon700d .
Hello Mhmed Badra. That's a bummer. Which flash do you have and what are the compatibility issues you are finding with it?
My external flash no longer syncs with my Canon Rebel xti and I can't figure out how to get it to work. The internal flash works just fine, but the 580EX II won't fire when I attach it to my camera. I have a Canon Rebel xti and the only settings under my camera menu on the first page are Quality, Red-Eye, Beep, and Shoot w/o card. I don't see any options for flash settings. Also, my external flash will turn on but it just won't register from the camera. The pilot light won't turn on, either. Interestingly enough it works with the strobe but I just can't get it to sync with my camera.. :(
Hi Sarah, we would recommend doing a factory reset on both, the camera and the flash.
flash is enabled on my 6d but no flash is happening..
Hi Kevin, we're having a bit of a hard time understanding your question. Could you please explain your issue a bit further? Thanks
I have a 80D and I purchased a Altura flash AP-C1001 and I go to set it up my Canon says flash not compatible .I tried fresh batteries It works in manual mode but I need the E-TTl to work or the TTL Help Me Thank you Mike
Hi Mike! Due to a firmware update, the Altura Photo E-TTL flash will only work in manual mode with the Canon 80D and Canon 5D Mark IV. Please send us your order information to info@gojasales.com and we will be more than happy to help you find a prompt solution.
I just got a canon 700d, when I go into settings there is no flash control option? my brain is fried
+Nicole Sartain Please turn your camera dial to M, this engages all the menu options of your Canon camera and can now access the flash control function.
+Digital Goja hey thanks, I managed to work it out. The flash only works while my power switch is set to "on" rather than the mode with lcd screen. Bit strange but I'm glad it still works haha
+Nicole Sartain We're glad you were able to get it working Nicole. Take care!
My Canon 700D flash just stopped working, and it still pops up.
Hello, Magnessa Tycoons International. We would recommend contacting Canon's Technical support team. Thanks for watching!
@@DigitalGojaUSA thank you for replying....where can i contacting them Sir or Mam
What does it mean when it says (menu not available. Flash is off or unsupported, or an accessory is attached
