just wow thousand years realy inspired me was searching on youtube your cover hits diffrend sounds so much better than al the other youtube tutorials 😮
@@AlanMcCarthyguitar oh god I had to make Pachelbel’s Canon last ages once. The bride was crying behind the door to come in to the ceremony. Luckily it already lasts ages 😆
Been to so many weddings post lockdown, and if I go to one more that has Here Comes the goddamn Sun as a processional song I'm gonna down my hip flask then and there. I know i'ts popular for a reason, but it's at Every. Single. Wedding.
@@PaulThorntonGuitar Haha. I know, I'm being unreasonable. 😆 Personal question to you as a guitarist, what's your favourite piece (or pieces) to play at weddings?
@@Philigan87 kidding. It depends really. I like Beatles tunes as they’re so colorful but I generally like playing older tunes as they’re much more interesting than current 3-4 chord songs with repetitive melodies
Great playing Paul, I've been playing in Wedding Bands years andI just started doing ceremonies on Uke and Guitar, 2 under my belt so far. I really love your version of "Allo Allo", loved that show, is there a tab somewhere I can purchase from you perhaps ? It's very inspiring that you also do your own versions of songs and these are requested by couples even by MP3, do you have any videos with advice for fellow guitarists? Cheers 👍🏻
Hi Tone Ranger, yes you can buy the tab for Allo Allo and others by following this link paulthorntonguitar.com/music-shop I don't have videos with advice although I do have a couple of tutorial videos for some of my arrangements if you have a look further back on my channel
Curious hows it going? Was thinking about getting into doing this, but then I read it's like $50 an hour or like $300 bucks a gig. That's not a lot of money considering the entire vibe and everything depends on you to perform. Is this accurate?

You opening with that song took my heart right out of my chest ❤ love it thank you
Need a full version of all these songs now! This was great! Subbed!
Thanks Daniel. There are full or at least longer versions of most of them further back in my channel
Beautiful, Paul!
You should post a longer version of Here Comes the Sun! Love your version of that one! So talented!!
There is a longer version somewhere. Check my videos 😉
Can you make another one of these! Would love to hear more!
I certainly can. Any requests?
Brilliant!

Yes the absolute nerve of people choosing songs that they like for their own weddings! Will they, for once, just think of the drunk guy at the back?

Any chance you can do a video breakdown on your rendition of 1000 years? That sounded great.
I’m in the USA I’d love for you to play live for my wedding . Or pay you for your song I love the sound it reminds me of my grandma
I’ve never been to the US but I’d love to go. Whereabouts are you?

Will you please help me! I love your Thinking Out Loud Cover. My sister wants me to learn it for her wedding. Is there anyway to view a tutorial?
There is tab available to buy on my website www.paulthorntonguitar.com/music-shop and I also do online zoom lessons if you need any further pointers

Fantastic playing mate, have you got tabs or a tutorial for Here Comes The Sun somewhere? :)
Thanks Cameron. I don’t actually but I may do just that in the next few days…

How much do you charge?
I’m not a guitar player. Why did you switch guitars for the Pachelbel Canon?
Nylon strings suit classical a little more and I just prefer playing it on that guitar too
