I'm not the biggest Taylor Swift fan, but I do respect her and her craft/perseverance. When this song came out, she was the laughing stock and the poster child for "ew you listen to taylor swift? You're a teenage girl". That was the attitude towards her back then - and look at the performers now. Mostly grown men playing her music solemnly and with respect to her artistry. Amazing progress :)
This just proves that taylor has always been an amazing and talented artist but media didn't wanted a talented artist to flourish but she is like a falcon, always rising from the ashes and proving that she is indeed very very talented, skillfull musician, songwriter and singer.

Listening to TS must be cool for you and in your region but you / or your country's people might have that kinda perspective for local artist or some genre or even for international artist . For eg in my country people might feel ashamed of listening folk song or songs like baby from Justin Bieber. The only thing I want to convey here is it's jus unnecessary hate or disgust people carry at certain times phase for various reasons or for a while span for certain genre which is jus bullshit.
You know what I mean. I may not be that articulate to convay what I want to say but this is jus disgusting dumb act when people poke at other for their choice of music . I don't like this but I do / was / am part of this afterall sometimes judging people out of nowhere . It's kinda complex. Bit when we grow up things like these will not matter and we become mature in understanding these sort of thing but we may display that sort of dumb shit here and there in some form .

People won’t take her seriously because of some of her lyrics. If she entirely became her Folklore/Evermore lyricist then composers would respect her more but some of her lyrics hide her talent, like Midnights were her worst yet, so they probably just see her as a country/pop star now rather than a composer/musician.

I did not expect the impact of this song to hit my heart so strongly. I am overwhelmed with the emotions this is pulling out of me. Wasn't a huge Swift fan before I started dating my fiance. Then I met her and everything changed and now I'm getting ready to marry the love of my life. Hearing this sounds like the first time I met her. Our first date. The first time we kissed. When we moved in together. When I proposed and she said yes. This is all of those happy moments and more condensed into almost 4 minutes of audible bliss.
