Love you Pete!, the other guys are new for me personally, I found the channel during the 2019-2020 season. Have missed you ever since you went to TV. There's definitely been a lack of true Quality discussion, analysis, and debate around the Lakers and NBA basketball as a whole. So hope you guys know you're appreciated and severely needed in the basketball discussion space. 🙏
If it were an option, would you have traded dlo and rui plus draft capital for jerami grant then guarantee Trent the starting 2 spot? Then it's reaves Trent grant lebron ad in the starting 5
Well, this was disappointing. When Buha "reported" about the player-options, his misinformation spread throughout the fan-base like wildfire. I don't think I've ever heard people bitch so much about minimum contracts ever in my 20+ years of NBA fandom. The player-options don't matter. At best, there is a small pro and con to them. The con is that they take up a roster spot unless you want to salary dump them for probably a SRP. Just as a reminder, the Nuggets gave the Lakers 3 SRPs for Thomas Bryant. SRPs are not that hard to get. The pro is that they have a small contract to use as a salary matching tool as a 1st apron team. In the new CBA, because of the necessity of using a 3rd team as a salary buffer to get trades done between 1st apron teams, the small salaries matter. If this was a newly signed minimum, they wouldn't have been able to trade them until December. The new CBA does limit how many minimum salaries can be aggregated in deals packaging 3 or more players for 1. But, I don't think that's really a problem in most deals. The Lakers have enough contracts of varying sizes to get salaries to match close enough in most cases to allow for a single minimum to close the gap. As for the Lakers being unwilling to let go of guys like Knecht and Max, I don't think they've been reluctant to let go of their "wins" in the past. I mean, Caruso's departure is a painful reminder of this. I think it's the reality that under the new CBA, you need high value contracts and some of the highest value contracts you can get are rookie deals. I'm sure that if there was a great value deal for Reaves, they would've considered it. But, per dollar, there aren't a lot of players who are better than Reaves that he could be traded for.
At this rate who’s actually taking this lakers team seriously? Nepotism up and down the ranks. An aging allstar and number two player just happy to have one ring. A rookie headcoach and a front office built to do whatever it takes to keep clutch sports and LeBron happy. I think LeBron is an amazing talent but the way he wrecks franchise was worth it when he was winning hardware, but it’s been a minute since this team got close to a ring.
You will never convince me that Harrison and Darius are not the same person. This was the ultimate Spider-Man meme pod
I'm upset you beat me to this post.
Harrison sounds like evil Darius
i'm glad i'm not going crazy!
I’m so glad I’m not the only person
I'm over the moon with all these LFR drops! This is the best news ever.
Good to hear this version of the LFR pod again. This is what we Laker fans want.
Love the uptick in podcast episodes!
My 3 fav lakers podcasters 🙌🏽
Any good GM Can shed a roster spot when needed. That’s not a viable excuse for Pelinka
Pelinka has pretty much checkmated himself with this roster

WE HAVE BEEN GRACED BY THE GIRAFFES PRESENCE
lakers handing out player options like oprah handing out free cars to her guests 😂

Sounds horrible
Need my man Harrison Faigen on more pods
Gary Trent is a steadier Maluk Beasley. He fits better in Mil in my opinion.
Darius saved the pod.
Harrison sounds like I expected him to does that make sense haha
Lakers Film Room 💎🖖🏾👽

Cam Reddish the only guy from Klutch..This is due to Robs being unable to handle the job

WHOS WHO?! 😂
Trent had less than 2 assists in almost 30 minutes. Don't need him.
The Klutch Lakers...
Klutch is a perfect excuse to hide behind for Pelinka. Hilarious to me

U just don’t like lebron and there’s nothing he would do on court that would change ur mind.
@@marc8008 I didn’t say anything that wasn’t true though did I?
Most Laker fans are so braindead 😂
if it's down to playing time for GTJ, i don't see how he's getting more in mke than la😂
