    I believe Max is a starter in a 3& D role. He’s a great rebounder, quick feet and can defend the quicker guards without fouling too much. He’s only getting better and stronger. Offensively, he’s league average or above since being drafted. That will get better with consistent minutes.. most importantly as Lebron old ass isn’t getting back in transition having a 6’6 Sg who plays defense will help in limiting opponents transition scoring

      Bring back Dlo and pair him with Max in the starting 5.Offense should give him the green light to create his offense in the mid range.The lakers have struggled rebounding the ball last season but Ham cut him out of the rotation entirely when he was very good positioning himself for a rebound,lol.He can also play the dunker's spot at times.Move AR to the bench.

      Max looked great as long as he wasn't asked to run the offense. Ham kept trying to use him against Max's strengths and then likely because of it didn't play him.

    • @anthonynguyen2920
      @anthonynguyen2920 Месяц назад

      Is this a joke? Do u actually watch games? Max can run the offense? So far, Max has not even shown he can consistently beat his man one on one for a “straight line” dribble. His handle is even under average for a shooting guard and you think that is better than AR?!? He looks and plays very timid out there. There are some things that sometimes work for him, shooting spot up corner threes, guarding some quick guards. I agree that he needs more time, BUT to prove himself that he belongs to the rotation, NOT to solidify his “already good” skills like some of these over hyped fans on here stated. Max is 6’5, not 6’6, but he looks and plays shorter than that cuz I u notice he has short arms (standing reach of 8.6 which is not long for a 6’5, AR has 8’5!. He is not athletic like some of you hyper fans claim. For a 6’5, he is average or under, his vertical of 32 inches is in the same territory with that of AR. I compare his physical parameter with AR cuz we all know AR is known to be a less physical talent in the NBA. It actually is evidential in games that Max had trouble finishing inside over tall defenders and most of his dunks were 2 hands with not much leap. Max does have good agility and quick lateral so that enable him to defend certain guards well.

    Vando was their best perimeter defender by far. Reddish was second. Christie was about an average perimeter defender, similar to Prince, and arguably not better than Reaves. Vincent too, has been an excellent perimeter defender when healthy. And, of course, LeBron can still turn it on when he feels like it.. Christie often looked like their best option on perimeter defense, because of injuries to the other guys, and because he usually matched up against opponent bench and role players. He looked good on D for the same reason why Reaves looked good in HIS second season, match-ups and a lack of game tape. Christie does have the physical tools to be an elite defender though. But more of his upside is on offense.
    The best option to get Christie minutes might actually be to move on from D-lo and move Reaves to point guard, where he showed massive improvement last season. A starting backcourt of Reaves and Christie could be one of the better guard tandems for the next several years, if they keep putting in work.
