Well done kids. This is the most important part of the game. Sportsmanship. Win or lose, both of you guys won our hearts.

Their parents should be super proud. These kids behave better than most adults at a baseball game. Isaiah is my hero! What an amazing act of kindness from a young man with a huge heart!

That is awesome. It used to be the pitcher and the person he hit would always shake, but it’s not done anymore kids are instructed to stay in position. Too bad, it’s always nice to be able to apologize and show each other a little sportsmanship.

It's interesting that these kids can remember that it's "just a ballgame", but most adults can't. It's supposed to be fun. If you're so rabidly obsessed with any team that you can't enjoy watching them even when they lose, then you are taking it way too seriously, and need to reevaluate your priorities. It's just a ballgame, people...

Don't belittle this by categorizing it as sportsmanship.
Sportsmanship is a balloon, what this fine young man did is a rocketship.

I don't understand why Shelton didn't come immediatly to this guy to look if he is okay and help him. Instead the victim comforts him

So nice and touching. But why they saying his name is Kaiden Shelton when there's another news video and the runner who hugs him calls him "Bob", unless that's also his name or nickname?

No doubt, one of the greatest moments ever. I hope someone in the MLB sends these 2 to the World Series. How bout throwing out the opening pitch and catch? Let 'em wear their LL uniforms. Prediction: America will melt.

We don't know if the young men involved were Christian. We do know that they showed immense kindness and respect for one another. And we're all the better for it. Their win should be our goal.
