I love her reaction screaming after the first cut! And Tyra was thinking, little do you know i'm going to cut a lot more than that off! Muwahhhh. She freaked out after the second cut and I would too! She had no idea how short Tyra was cutting it and I doubt she would have agreed if she knew. Poor girl going from beautiful long stand out hair to looking like every one else blending in with the crowd, all for cheap entertainment and some styling tools and a 4day holiday. Well I guess some people pay money to get all their hair chopped so it could be much worse ;)
Normally I would like a good haircut transformation but I will say that having waist length or longer hair is just as good as having short hair because both stand out from the crowd of shoulder/ armpit length and both require more maintenance. I think she should have kept it after the first cut, bu tit looks like she committed herself before the show of else it wouldn't have been as dramatic for the people watching (eg Entertainment!) I hope she persisted in growing it back.
Poor girl lost all that length at once. She had to know what she was getting into. It looks awesome though, and it will take forever to get that length again. Welcome to the world of ordinary.
She didn't need to cut all that hair their are really nice synthetic wigs any recovering kid would love to have but at least the prizes are pretty great
