One arm choke hold just goes to show how insanely strong this man is. Normally anyone would have to use 2 arms. This man alone his grip is like a cobra with either arm where he grabs you and it’s just suffocating. Insane.
Choke holds aren’t performed with 2 hands for the sake of strength. It’s a technique. Yeah, he could most definitely crush your windpipe with that one forearm, but an experienced grappler would use both arms to secure a choke that would put you to sleep in a matter of seconds and not just attempt to obliterate your neck. In a street fight, Devon would absolutely kill someone with that choke. But in a sanctioned match? Anyone with experience would slap that shit aside with ease.
