His accent I feel is closer to the southern counties in England, such as Hampshire and Dorset (more towards the eastern side of it), as opposed to a London accent where if you are familiar with the Jamaican way of saying things, you'll understand what I mean. Though if I met him in person I probably would've thought he was born and raised here.
The minute I listened to him talk, I know he must have lived in Australia with the derivative Cockney accent (London/South area). People who have never lived in the UK, wouldn’t know what British accent sounds like because there is NO Such thing as “British Accent”. You could listen to Scottish people talk, and you would never associate their accent with “British”. Geordy, Liverpudlian, Mancunian, Yorkshire, Brummie, they don’t talk like that, and it won’t be associated with a “British” accent for people who have never lived in the UK long enough to have their ear fully “trained”. So to say that this man speaks in “British accent” is very shallow, to say the least.
It's just a broad term used to describe any accent from that particular region, by people who cannot name the specific accent. Everyone knows that there are regional accents within the UK, America, Australia and every other large country. If you were to hear an African speak English, and someone were to ask you where you thought the person's from, you might say they're from Africa because they have somewhat of an "African accent" but because you're not entirely sure which country specifically, you wouldn't be able to pinpoint the exact accent. The whole world loves the various accents from the UK, is it really that horrible to use the term "British accent"?
As an English 🏴 person I can hear the Australian🇦🇺 accent in him. Thats not an English 🏴 accent. It sounds foced to sound like middle class suburban England 🏴. He does however have a good grasp on the English language and hes very easy to understand. I'm also confused as there is no British 🇬🇧 accent. There's many different accents that come from different parts of the three countries on the island 🏝️. There are many English 🏴 accents and then there are Scottish 🏴 and Welsh 🏴 accents by the fact they choose to continue speaking our language but there's no single British 🇬🇧 accent.
What is an accent but simply the courage to speak? We could be given a thousand years to live to learn to speak just like them, but have you ever wondered why they spoke like that in the first place? Every Indonesian on that program has a bule accent😂
Wow, he’s got a proper accent of East London
The guy lived overseas in an English speaking country with probably people from different parts of the world so its good but not impressive... Had he never been out of bali and still sounds like that it would be impressive but yea 7/10 its good ...
British got too many accents. There is cockney accent, Lancashire accent,, Yorkshire accent, Brummie, Geordie or Scouse accents. In total there are 56 accents. What are you guys proud of? The word mate is also used in England. It is not only in Australia.
generally people who speak English in Indonesia either with local or american/canadian accent. so to hear an Indoensian speak with so called Brits accent make them amazed. i've never been to UK at all but i caught real Brits use various accents, e.g. Jamie Oliver vs Daniel Craig vs heston Blumenthal.
He also said "TV", when the brits usually call it Telly. This guy just wants to be viral in a country full of people easily fancied with these kind of things.
@@Sir3gar I did not finish watching his video. You are right. Here British people don't say TV but they say telly. Those who gave him thumbs up possible ( they are from Indonesia) because they don't know and did not notice words by words he says was correct or incorrect. I don't know why the presenters were easily be tricked by him?
@@himmel2436 oh I see. I live in England UK so I knew straight away when I heard what he was saying in british accent. That's why I was saying British got too many accents.
@@pacificoceania5828 the presenters are typical indonesians. Here in indonesia, people are easily fascinated with low standard quality of things, due to the low standard quality of education, lazy culture and less exposure to other people's life dynamics in other countries.
Genius ❤
I am intrested of listening his story. And my personal opinion that he has a good ability to speak british accent. Not only that but I am still carious to find his channel. Someone here can show me about that?

I am American and I speak with a British accent
"Sometimes my genius is almost frightening." -Jeremy Clarkson
I know first hand if you live with someone long enough, that person will kind of pick up your accent. I am an American, my wife is Indonesian, and her accent sounds like mine. I also know someone else, a guy from England who is married to an Indonesian and she also has a british accent when she speaks English.
I have lived in Australia for more than 20 years but my accent is still Sundanese hahaaa..
Utk anak anak sekarang kyknya niru accent British, Indian or Singlish udah easy banget oleh mereka anak anak yg sekolah di sekolah Bilingual. Anak anak saya umur 13 dan 7 thn bisa melakukan nya dengan mudah
I've been living in uk for 25 yrs but still don't speak with British accent🤣 because I think it's not important as long as you can converse with other people properly
Based on experiences. Indonesian people are better in pronounce English than European or even Asia Countries, especially for Javanese.
As an Indonesian who used to live and work in oz he sound much more like oz in my ear. Specially with the sOoooouuu or Nooooouuu 😆
Nice conversation
I have been living in Ireland for years but my accent still Sundanese accent😅
Irish accent also sounds really good.
i follow him on his instagram, but mostly we talk Javanese 😄
I can speak Malay with British accent
Woow I envy your British Accent 👌
Wow,,
Amazing British accent! I couldn’t make it up and I have been speaking British English for decades! 😂
We are funny people in this world. I speak Javanese with a medok East Java accent. I am American
He's my TikTok friend lol, we used to do live together last year 😂
Just when I thought it couldn't get any more impressive, he blew my mind with the Hindi lmao
Don't try to imitate accent it won't sound right or good, it's weird. Spanish, german, american, japanese, arabian or anyone from any country they speak english with their accent. It's never a problem.
Indonesian 🇮🇩 accent is very more American 🇺🇸 or Canadian 🇨🇦 accent, not like a British accent
Anyone can do a voice impression or imatation. 😂😂😂 you dun have to stay in a certain place to get that accent
Right... and i think you just spew a lot of bullshit right there 😂
His English accent is good for someone who’s never been here. Btw, there’s no such a ‘British accent’. We have English, Scot, Welsh, Northern, Southern, Cockney accents, etc. Oh, I’m an Indonesian who live here in England and I just want to give you a bit more of information about many different accents here in the UK:)
Nah if you go outside England the world only knows British accent no such things as cockney outside England 😂😂😂
Thanks for the information.
alreet mate !
He has an Australian mixed et a British accent
It is not britt, it is aussie.
it is brits
teeeeny bit aussie, cool!
Nah dude, Aussie is the part of Brit colonizer, which means another variation
I can’t believe they had a whole 20 min segment on this 😂
Hmmm. It's funny 🤣
Aksennya mirip guru saya yg orang Scotland 😀
Some people just like to pronounce things properly when they learn a language
Crazy crossover😂
His accent is good by Indonesian standards, but it’s not proper British English. If you want to hear someone from Southeast Asia speak near-perfect British English, watch an interview with Lea Salonga from the Philippines. Yes, she took the role of Miss Saigon, so she must have travelled a lot to Britain, but even before that role, she already spoke near-perfect RP English.
Hey Steve!
British Farmer With Indonesian Accent
I’am from Malaysia and I speak English I could have the British accent if I wanted to but it feels so weird and funny besides everyone is going to ask me where the hell did I got the accent from .. I have been to the UK but not long enough to pick up the accent 🤣🤣🤣
