I read the first two books and watched the first two movies and neither was good as the stories got very repetitive very quickly. The issue that I had was that Harry Styles was already sexualized as a teenager and a story where the author(a grown woman, mind you) takes advantage of that aspect. I have nothing against fan fiction in general as there are plenty of well-written fanfics out there. The ones where celebrities are involved are a mixed bag, some are good(mostly the Selena Quintanilla ones) while everything else goes beyond the parasocial relationship that becomes extreme.
Yes, he definitely was 17-18 when Anna was a 24 year old writing about him and that was the biggest problem fans had. And yes the celebrity fanfics can definitely get strange and creepy, especially during that time when manips were popular!
@@KeliforniamediaThat's not true when she wrote the story. She was 23 and he was 19. So he wasn't a team. Once you hit eighteen, you're no longer a teenager.
@@christina93d5 Oh you're right he was 19 in 2013 when they were written. Technically, nineteen is still considered the last year of your teen years even if he's considered a legal adult. Nonetheless, the backlash that the author received was related to the age gap & the fact that he was still quite young!
@@Keliforniamedia Well, she wasn't that much older than him. She was 23. People should focus on that woman from X factor who took advantage of him when she was in her 30s and he was 17.
@@christina93d5 oh mannn there's a lot of uncovered stuff from One Direction days that people seem to have forgotten. Same thing with Liam when he was only a teenager and sang in front of one of the judges, Cheryl Cole, whom he has a child with now. She's 10 years older than him and met him when he was 14 on X Factor. Crazy stuff!
Your vids are super underrated
Thank you so much!!
