- Hi everyone!!
This week's video is our Scottish Highlands and Islands road trip. We did a quick 3 night tour of Oban, Mull and Glencoe. It was SO cool. We've never done van life before and we loved it. There's a full van tour from 3-7 mins on the video. It was our first family holiday as a three as we took Winnie with us which was so fun!

I’m so excited! We are going to Scotland this summer in a camper for three weeks with our two dogs! I can’t wait! This video makes me even more excited🤩

As someone from oban this was an eye opener just as where we live
Champagne with Fish & Chip....a couple after our own hearts 😆 Scotland is the best, we recorded our road trip last year on our channel too, what a dreamy place! FYI best fish & chips we have ever had was just over the bridge onto the Isle of Skye 🤤
ahhh I love Skye! Sounds great! and how good is bubbles with fired food yum!!
Wow! We where on Mull in September for 6 days and the only money we spent was £5 in a honestly box the other 5 day we park for free, try downloading park for the night , i do wildlife photography i got the sea eagles and as a bonus we saw and photographed the northern lights. Glad you guy's enjoyed it! Its a great island 🏝 😊😊😊

Just came back from our own trip to Oban, Mull and Glencoe/Fort William after our trip home to Portugal was cancelled once again :(
Nevertheless, I just wanted to let you know that it was inspired by you and this vlog, we rented a VW camper van too and used your google maps guide to explore!
Thank you so much for sharing your trip, we had a wonderful time after this whole uncertainty of Covid. Loved being surrounded by nature and the amazing sceneries ❤️ we spent 2 nights (3 full days) in mull and 2 nights in Glencoe exploring. I would highly recommend visiting and will be back for sure.

Those roads seem like never end, lovely couple, they feel this world just their own, perhaps. I must continue my study first in this country then find my heart and our campervan then travel some parts of this earth. Awesome 🌐♥️

If you are doing it again then can I recommend getting the ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway, tour Lewis then head down to Harris, google Luskentyre beach 😍

When I was working at a tour operator in London, I used to sell these locations to my clients. They are absolutely stunning, I can’t wait for the world to be normal again and be able to travel...

OH MYYYY... Firstly biting into that fried scollop, I was salivating.... all those muscles for £2. INCREDIBLE. Looked like you both had an incredible trip and the camper van is amazing....

the OTHER way of doing this is to get the ferry over from Oban, do your exploring around Mull, then get the Fishnish ferry to the Ardnamurchan peninsula, drive up to the Corran Ferry (no booking required for either ferry - just queue) which takes you to just south of Fort William. You can then drive all the way down through Glencoe.
Cool video.. I went camping in that campsite in Glencoe a couple of years ago in the summer with my kids and we loved it.. also what a beautiful drive through the mountains scenery is awesome.. happy new year from Glasgow
I've often wondered who lives in those little houses in the absolute middle of nowhere, I'd have to go and knock on the door, I wouldn't be able to help myself. Great Video, Beautiful Scenery.

I'm currently planning a roadtrip to oban, glencoe and loch lomond. I am so excited now. Definitely going to the Oban chippy. Sadly we aren't going to mull but did you happen to see many places/smokehouses to buy fresh fish, meat, bread etc in Oban? Was hoping to stock up there! X
so cool! yes the Oban chippy is so fab. Ooohyes id say grab your fresh fish at the green shack at the ferry but couldn't tell you about a butchers or bakery etc as we didnt stay long there x

Hi Jess, just deciding on what Campervan to hire for a week in Scotland - a VW transporter or a bigger motorhome with shower and toilet... have you experience driving both? Worried the motorhome will be to big! Thanks :) And really enjoyed the vid you guys did X :)
Really enjoiyed your Vlog and how refreshing to see visitors that eat meat, I thought the only visitors we got were Vegans judging by all the other Vlogs. Glad you enjoyed the fish too

Aamzing!! Have fun. Yes we prebooked them all. I would do it because you don’t want to worry about not getting a spot for the night. They’re very flexible with arrival times x

Scotland is the best, like the people who live there must be so trusting for the pay yourself with no staff around, u can tell not much theifed and violence goes on there

Hi you two , great vlog , please Google this if it helps , there is no traffic order making no camping signs or no overnight sleeping legal . In other words you can camp wherever you like within reason . Stay safe .

You can't just potter off for a walk in the highlands = you need to be aware where you are and what you're doing, otherwise, you put your's & other's lives at risk. In the video when driving through Glencoe, Jess indicates the hills on the left- these join up to a serious ridgeline, the Aonach Eagach, a serious grade 2 scramble not to be taken lightly.
Camera shake is really distracting.
I am from Oban, I hate people who come here in campervan's! They have no respect for the locals on the roads...

Nice video, however, this is Campervaning = holiday trip in a campervan staying at camping sites. Van Life = living in a van - permanently or semi permanently usually with off grid capability
