  • @RedefineLiving
    @RedefineLiving 5 лет назад +4

Hard work. They make a shovel bit for those as well as an asphalt bit that would work good also. You can sometimes find them used for cheep in the rental department of the big box store and local rental yard. The benefit of having 2 bits is you can use the second to dig out the first when it gets stuck. I have a hammer like that, I love it. 60lb Bosch 💪

Bro. top of finish floor elevation,
    subtract floor joist
subtract 1/4'' per foot total distance from fathest fixture from septic tank.
example. 50' from house to tank is 12 1/2'' fall
    2x12 joist is 12''
so the inlet has to be 24 1/2'' center of pipe from finish floor elevation

Hi there, I am new to your channel, I was watching an older video on Jar of Poetry, Jace Jacobs, and he had a shout out for you. Since, I too have a homestead I subscribed. I don't show much of my homestead because I focus the homestead on my friend's channel Nova Supernova because it is his land. We have 11 acres and are in the middle of a rebuild. Nova spent 30 hours on a tractor making a new road for our homestead. We are going on an European vacation and will be posting that soon, leaving December 26. We won't work on the homestead again until spring. We are going to make our own wood for our homestead so all the logs we have down now will be used when we get our mill. Plus we use a tractor to dig, we have an escalator for that. Just an update from one homestead to another, nice to meet you.

You should have gotten 3 tools with the jack hammer
The point for breaking concrete and asphalt...
(tip 1 do not punch holes though concrete or asphalt..
(you will stick the tool like you just did) instead hit the material a few blows then move a few inches again and again and again... Back and forth...
You are creating a fracture line..
It will break on that line without sticking your tool)
Tool #2 the chisel ... Never had much use to it...
Tool # 3. The clay spade app 3-4 inch or more at the bottom
(tip on use the clay spade....
    Once you have a hole...
Turn your back toward where your trench (?) is headed..
Now from the top about 4 inches away from the hole go straight down the height of the chisel wide part and lean back on the hammer and pop the part into the hole/trench..(personally when I get my hammer ... I'll get an extra clay spade, and in not to Rocky soil,..
Weld a 6 inch wide maybe 6-8 inch 1/2 inch plate to it
Then maybe 6 inch deep pops
(What ever the hammer will handle ) don't get carried away and try to take 6 inch or more bits.. backwards. )
That should help with your job

Oh yeah, you may want to slap a little grease on the chisel before slapping it in the beast. I love mine. It is so awesome to see, we have the exact set up without even knowing.

How far are the pipes from the bottom inside the barrel?

Are you asking how far from the bottom are the inlet pipes, or the pipes on the inside of the barrel?
