Props to the dude who ran the last pass!
Way to stay in the game!
Also thanks to the track for letting him run past time
Finally a brotha doing race week 19:30
PFI Speed stays killing it with all their builds. Plus they're growing more and more of a presence on these drag and drives. So awesome!!!
They are the best. Brent is a gem
Blane and now the chill trailer guys are a staple to race week. Handing out otter pops in 100 degrees. That’s awesome!
Do You intend to state that Blayne Stark and those that perform trailer burnouts are shown regularly during these 1320videos of Drag&Drive Events ?
Actually Blayne, along with his father Tom Stark, mother Elena, and sister Macyela have been regular participants within RMRW for many years as family, all in their 1957 Chevy Wagon with a a V-8, 4 spd manual transmission,
The 1320video crew have many of their 'favorites' shown, especially those that repeat, are unique, following the leaders within the quicker classes, etc., if You have noticed. In previous years they seem to show many more participants within the event during the week too.
All The Best, Sincerely
@newtonfirefly3584 I think you way overthought that bro
Ya and blain has gotten a huge head and is super cringe now . Trying to be one of the cool guys . Thank god Doug cook isn’t there that’s when he gets impossible to watch .
@@coltontaylor4572 Yes, Taylor Cotton, YOu have confirmed You clearly, obviously lack thinking through properly, correctly. Good Luck.
Love watching race week during the summer, awesome builds and some really cool people 🔥
*Same here just hate knowing I'm waiting for parts while watching* 😂😂
Gotta love our Aussie brothers !
We all need to keep an eye out for Blaine when he gets a little older cause I have a good feeling that he's gonna be an absolute beast behind the wheel of a race car
The chill trailer boys bombing up to Kyle, opening the cooler for himbto grap a pop then ripping out was just perfect
Thanks 1320 for the beauty coverage of these race weeks. Love from New Zealand.
Let's go PFI those guys are great
@39:05 - PEAK DRAG N DRIVE
Damn it I love these events! Here's to having my own ride to jump in one of these next racing season...
And Kyle just completely failing to read the room, "that's hilarious, hahaha".
This event is just fantastic! Great to see Dane and the Maliboom.
Loving the little battles especially Blaine nd Austin they are the future and what better hands to be in ' 2 great kids fair play and thanks 1320 once again top of the pops.
thanks for the hard work on raceweek.
OMG 1320 for presidency ❤️🤘😎
PFI Team is FLYIN ! Let's Gooooo ! :)
Great video as usual gents!
Real help that young lady is well back in the race again love it❤❤❤❤
Those a/c guys are straight legends. Pulling up with music blasting and a cooler full of freezies was the funniest thing ever 😂
Excellent coverage fellas Trinidad in d house 🇹🇹
Man I need to go one of these years.. looks absolutely amazing
Great video guys. Thanks!
Thx for the coverage TEAM!!!!
Keep the Fred free videos coming! Awesome job guys!
Lol all of your comments are about Fred. Seems like you loooove him!
Killer boys. Keep up the great job
7:08 That is a proper Grand National
18:58 A giant turbo with a a D-stroke 6L is the way to go
Just saw the family that races the gold S-10 with the camper on the back.
Glad to see the kids racing again.
Killin it boys/girls 👊
I love that little kid and the Mustang both of them actually
In Colorado, we say "narrows" instead of "twisties"
Great video
I wish to experience these things someday myself
Make sure you all shake Jim's hand when you go to his castle. Hes gonna freak out when you all roll in there. Wish I had known ahead of time I would've driven to the castle. Its less then 2 hours from me. Ive been there many times and love chatting with Jim
I thought that was Tom and Noise complaint at 38:22. I got excited lol
The only thing that has made this years special, special, is the the guy that spent 1/4 of the money on a Ford 300 powered Chevy wagon that is effectively a half a second slower than the guys spending ridiculous amounts of money on N/a (no nitrous either) big blocks or turbo small blocks.
@a group where we all pretend to be Fuds
what at Great perch to film silver camero from!! nice work kyle.
16:42 The tradition of expressing your time slip as the seconds then the first two places after the decimal as the number of 1/100th and then "with a" the 1/1000th all started because most scoreboards show only two places after the decimal. His time was a "ten-thirteen with a...three".
Thanks for the coverage! It sucks no cleetus or Alex Taylor
Cleeter and the boys, and Finnegan keep breaking everything. 🤦
Unbelievable!
13 years old, driving an 8 second twin turbo G8... that's awesome 😂😂
Darwin Award to the parents.
Love the Raceweek Content❤
Doesnt feel like race week without Fred
Yeah, Wth Kyle? When are you going to put 'some skin in the game'?! We ALL Want to See That!! 🙏
Man that RWD impala is so cool
That red camaro at the beginning looks exactly like the one I had in 2019 before I got rid of it minus the side skirt! I wonder 🤔
Would be cool if there was a race week through the pacific northwest. Would be one of the nicest drives.
Everyone would get pulled over by CHP and get states reffed and impounded
I've got good news, there is! This is the first year, it's called the redwood rally and I'll be competing in my Magnum 👍 it takes place at the end of September and I agree with you that the drive portions are going to be epic!
@@ReignitedAuto Nice. Good to know. Maybe next year I'll get in on it depending on the cost involved
Can't recall the camera man's name ( I should know ) but at 2:48 he is climbing the cliff face for the perfect shot.
Guy loves it.
All the power to him 👍
That DA and temp also mean less aero drag
99° sounds a lot better than 114° we'll be getting here Yuma AZ next week😪
I keep seeing that old Suburban in the background... Can you tell us about it?
“ the Wilson way” lol, love race week.
Those fucking goons handing out pop sicles remind me of theo von and riff raff lolol i love it
That box chevy, went 8.88 with a 388 with an 88mm turbo. I swear if the truck is an 88 running 88 octane fuel in 88 degree weather and the guy driving has $88 bucks in his wallet I'm gonna shit 88 bricks.
I want to know more about this build as it's very similar to mine. engine/turbo wise. Anyone know if there's a buildsheet somewhere for full specs?
I'd rather finish my 68 C10 & go next next year. Thanks for the video, it's awesome.
My favorite part of these drag and drive videos are the drives themselves, seeing the route and breakdowns are the best
eddy needs to look at that rear end somethings not right with it cuz even yesterdays video i noticed it looked like the rear was shaking badly
I want hear more bout that 4.8 crank in 6.0 that’s Honda terms 1.8 ls crank in 1.8 gsr block slams for cheap boost
Cam needs to put more heat on those tires!
South Park .....respect my authoritor.....😂😂😂😂😂
That white dodge Dakota should run bottom 8s I'd think
With losing Bandimere later this year, I wonder what will RMRW do for next year?
Grand Junction Colorado has a drag strip you guys should add that into rocky mountain race week I feel its to short with just 3 tracks!
I’ve heard that for insurance reasons they tracks they race at need to have concrete walls. Steel guard rails can be dangerous.
They still have 5 track days.
Kearney, Bandimere, Pueblo, Pueblo again, and back to Kearney.
Hopefully Great Bend will be back in operation next year, because they’re gonna loose Bandimere. Which is gonna make these tracks nearly impossible.
@@philb5593 It does seem strange for this event to not have Great Bend, KS this year, thus twice in Pueblo. It does seem they could have arrange another track in the region though.
As for the Bandimere Raceway in Denver area closing, if You have seen the video posted on PFI Speed with the first PSCA Race 2023, Brent has the track owner interview recorded. The owner provides some important information, including knowing in advance about the closure, arranged, planned for another location. He does not state any specifics with the location, nor time frame. Perhaps by viewing it, You will gain a sense of what he is stating as i did.
All The Best, Sincerely
@@newtonfirefly3584 Great Bend is not holding races this season because of the bumps in the new race track. Last I knew they were in a fight with the contractor on who will pay for the fix.
I am aware that the owners of Bandimere are planning a new track, however there’s a strong possibility that next year RMRW will not have a track in the Denver area to race at.
There aren’t many tracks in this area than can support an event like this. Unless you compromise safety or settle for 1/8 mile
@@philb5593 Phil B , thank You for the additional details about the condition with Great Bend Raceway. Had seen Kyle [1320video] mention the track is currently having the a new surface done with expectations with it completed before RW 2.0. All The Best, Sincerely
What are you doing on a contest right now
Omg this track has the best views ever !!! Which state is this in Colorado?
Yes, this is Pueblo, Colorado.
@@thatrealba place is fukn beautiful
👏👏👏
Hey I was there lol
I’m not sure but in the pictures right at the end of the video it looks like that 67 Mustang had a Chevy motor in it, anybody know for sure
It's a Ford 351 with a Vortech blower 1966 mustang
@@roberttomich1279 that’s a nice combo thank you
was that 4:95 pass to the 1/8th or the full quarter?
The 1/8th
Awesome
Could the juniors parents not like keep a draggy or stop watch on them? Or would that be considered cheating 😂
Any driver can have the use of such devices in their vehicles during the racing, as in any other event. Sincerely
Kyle just casually costing at 6k rpm in someone else's car...
I think that’s a new world record for fastest k24 stock head … I believe it was 9.3
Are You stating about the ET Brent Leivestad, PFI Speed achieved with his K-24, Turbo, AWD "Freedom Civic" ? If You check again and the posted results chart, You will see that he had 9.34 sec. Day 1 in Kearney, NE, 9.35 sec. Day 2 at Bandimere, Denver , CO, 9.065 sec. @ 150.70 MPH [(9:07- 9:19-:22]
If You know, Brent managed 8.54 sec ET at Bandimere during PSCA in June with this "Freedom Civic", K-24, Turbo, AWD to the Semi-Finals, but resulted in some engine damage including the timing chain tensioner, as several other engines within PFI Speed have experienced in recent months; then swapped that K-24, with stock camshafts, etc. before RMRW, then as You know about the damage to the head on Day 1, swap with a stock head.
Sincerely

@@jkfonyi correct JK Fonyl . You do not have a clue ! Good Luck
Spot out to the 13yr with mom. Twin turbos rippin an 8.3.. keep pushin buddy! YNWA!!!
Why does the heat make the cars not want to hook? The whole reason for a burnout is to get heat in the tires so that they hook. If the tires are hot and the track is hot should the cars hook up even better?
To much heat causes it to become "not a good surface" some say slimy
You want the surface to be tacky, but too much heat makes it slimy, as was said.
I think if the big turbo v8 grand national wouldve done a bigger burnout it mightve hooked better that first pass.. 🙄🤦♂️
Once again a big shout out to all the turbo cars also a big shout out to Jason number one overall to run a 7.41 at this altitude is absolutely nuts Definitely got to have some power to do that at this altitude
🔥🔥
Interesting how they run a 8.59 first pass! Can’t they have the computer control the horsepower as they progress down track?
Yes, Terry, there are many ways to use computer control to affect the engine performance, also transmission, etc, if the vehicle has an ECU-PCM/ECM, TCU/TCM.
The use, setup, etc. is dependant upon the users' knowledge, access, sensors, etc.
If You see the discussion with Clay Millican and his Crew Chief in his videos, You may get some idea of the controls, details they have, use along with others as Bren & Jaime - PFI Speed, Kevin Smith - KSR, Dick Anderson&Luis-FuelTech etc.
All The Best, Sincerely
I am pretty sure delay boxes and other automated means to dial in a time are illegal. Otherwise just changing boost or timing is guessing . Hence why it can take a couple passes to figure it out .
@@jkfonyi JK Fonyl, clearly You do not know the rules within these Drag&Drive Events along with NHRA/IHARA/PDRA/No-Prep/etc. Drag racing events either.
Certainly auch automation including delay boxes, trans-brakes,, etc. are permitted and commonly used within 'bracket racing' in all events. You also clearly lack the basic knowledge with ECU-ECM-PCM, computer setting, adjustment, proper engine operation, etc.
perhaps You have some rudimentary ideas, concepts, within computers, programming, applications, usage, and perhaps some aspects within vehicles. If You desire to actually develop the proper knowledge, ideas, concepts, principles, also the actual rules involved You can achieve these too.
Thus You won't have to 'Guess', propose, assume, presume or such either.
Good Luck
YESSSIRRR
Props to the last guy in with the blue mustang....and the track for letting him run.
Dang, looks like Hert forgot his hood pins again 😂
Come on Blaine. I can’t wait till next year and keep watching this young man get faster and faster
Tom Eickhorst, if you have been following Blayne Stark during these Drag&Drive Events along with him on his channel [Blaynes Therapy (his junior dragster)] You will see that Blayne had already well developed driving, racing skills added to his mechanical, fabrication, building. Blayne already drives, races quicker than they allow in this "Junior Street" class.
@@newtonfirefly3584hey thats cool, I'm going to look up that channel. Thanks.
You should've let the kid finish his kidney stone story. Did he survive?
Fred?
Kyle casually having a tractor trailer fly by 5 ft away and not even flinching😂
Where's Tom's rhinoplasty?
1000miles im sure you could do all tracks in new zealand twice within 1000 miles lol and potentially in 2 days
Where's the link to win the tow behind car lift
@1320video
Yeee
Honda Harvey is exactly what I think Tom Bailey would look like driving an import.
Logging truck "NO ATTEMPT!" trailer burnout. What a stick-in-the MUD. "Dueces" Pine hauler. Your outta here
I love gnx
I really wish the entire SRC team would run Rocky Mtn Race Week. All 6 or 7 of them..
"Count Drag-ula", 1 burnout, 2 burnouts, 3 burnouts, ah, ah, ahhhhhh...
gotta keep the raceweek videos an hour plus cmon now!!
Thats a cool impala, but the super rare factory rear wheel drive impala.
Patrick Van Hoesen, if You heard Kyle describe that RWD Impala, he stated the vehicle was swapped from FWD into RWD. There was a similar one during Sick Summer along with an Oldsmobile RWD swapped as the NASCAR had. All The Best, Sincerely
HI ALL
So looks like stock standed is LS TWIN TURBSKI'S bigger the better or go home lol thx boys so why are we seeing 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile how does that work ?
Seem that You need to look more closely, precisely, broader, extensively too.
Most classes run 1/4 mile.
14.0, 13.0, 12.0, 11.0, 10.0, 9.0, 8.5, outlaw, ultimate radial, stick shift, n/a big block, n/a small block, gasser, pro street, unlimited, and bikes all run 1/4 mile.
Rowdy radial and jr street are the only classes that run 1/8
Couldn't afford a 408 Mopar because r3s and w9s aren't cheap. Bulletproof tho
Turbos make everything easier for this race, to go real fast and have good driving. I give it to the na, nitrous ,or sc cars
💙💙💙💙💙
