Nicks wife or girlfriend is a nice person, stable, beautiful with gentle kids, she works and keeps those kids well, love how they calmly all sat at the table to have a meal, I wish you guys the best❤
This is why on the job training and companies participating in second chance employment for non-violent offenders is so important and should be apart of ex-offender rehabilitation.

I've been to prison 5 times last stretch was 10 years. I've been out now for 25 years and married for 24 and almost own my own house. State took me away from my parents at age 16
If I can do it, so can they!

Just what I was thinking. It broke my heart watching him fill out 3 job applications a day and getting nowhere. So demoralising and he seems like a nice guy who just made some bad choices.
He gave me an idea w the basketball. Lol he's creative.
Transition center helped me out a lot .I thank God for all the chances.Been home over 5 years,with remodeling business.

Yeah, that's the same thing I was thinking and they're practically twins they look so much alike. Hanging with his ole UNC will be good for both of them. God bless them and keep them together as a loving family

These guys need more than a job. They need to be born again in the name of Jesus. I knew several people who had good jobs , but they sold drugs on the side. There are some that can be the president of the United States and still be a crook. A job does not make you a good person. Obeying the word of God made me better.

The family has to give him time to process from a world of incarceration to the free world, He has to build up trust for the family its not easy, But Royal will make it!!
It's mostly definitely a process I stayed in the house my first two weeks home maybe a little longer than that and still to this day I don't like crowds my head is always on a swivel if you get too close to me I will back away I don't like anyone standing behind me or moving to fast around me

To the gentleman that just got out for serving a decade in prison his family have to give him time enough to process before he could really open up.
But she keeps having kids, not able to provide for the ones that she already has.

Royal should be a personal trainer
He would make a great personal trainer. He can communicate really well. He can motivate people. I hope that edge he has from prison can drop and he can be more open with his clients. It will take time and patience. It must be hard being in a constant state and struggle for survival and then have to leave it behind because people who haven’t been through it can get defensive, back off and not understand. He would be a great personal trainer with a range of people. From the young guys who want to be fit for sport or competition to people who may need workouts in the park or at home. He has an unusual experience and was able to get fit and strong. If a client said I can’t because of money he could use his experience to work around it for them or to motivate them that you don’t have to have the most expensive gym equipment or gym.
I praying and have faith for your young men.

It really doesn't people are going to be who they are regardless of how they are raised we got paster and people with power committing crimes just like other people and most of them grew up in two parents homes have never lived or witnessed poverty

She should have left that guy alone. He has no job skills and he seems like he is foolish. The only thing he knows how to do is to commit crimes. He just got out of jail and he is going to get her pregnant again. Then she will have to work 3 jobs because he is going back to prison most likely.
Not true my mom or dad have been to jail or even pulled over by the police nor have their parents but I have been to prison my sons are 19 and 21 and have yet been in any kind of trouble it's all on the individual

America could choose to learn from Norway about what they are doing differently to achieve the lowest recidivism rate in the whole world. They have made prison a rehabilitation system where they exercise humane treatment and programs to skill the inmates for re-entry back to society

That’s not our desire as a country our desire is to continue to enslave we think that black people are the only ones affected by a country built on slavery it’s literally the core value system here
I agree, America could very well choose to do better by its citizens in these cases, but purposely choose not to, because we reside in a terribly divided and broken society that does not believe in true justice and equality for all.

How can she work 16 hours a day 6 days a week and raise two boys? Someone else is with the kids MOST if not all of the time.
Monetize rehabilitation centers and schools, not prisons... things will change

@@happylifegrace4674 if more funding was offered for rehabilitation programs, especially for the youth and drug addicted persons, there is a much higher chance of them being reintegrated into society. Many women also are in prison for relational situations, that can be addressed with domestic violence counseling. Those with mental health issues need therapy and medication, not lengthy incarceration. Isolation, violence and exposure actually make mental health worse. Rehabilitation programs should have components of education, training, therapy and family involvement.. Right now people are just being warehoused and enslaved with no real intent for long term reintroduction into society. Its destroying people, dismantling families and robbing societies of potential. There is a place for incaceration for safety purposes, but doubt its being used properly. Question is whether there is real motivation for change

My son has been to prison since he was 16 years old first time was a dwi and no driver license then the rest of the rest are from driving on suspended or revoked and he's 44 years old. He tried getting jobs and once he said he had been incarcerated they would turn him down. He would lie on the application and as soon as they check and find out that he was incarcerated they would said that they were not hiring anymore. The government needs to open some factories for the guys that get out of prison that would be better for them. Instead the government spends money on global warming and other things that doesn't help anyone. It's sad situation
Jail is big business. The system promotes recidivism. They exclude x jail people from jobs so they can lock them up again. I think the system makes $60,000 a year for each prisoner. Many face permanent homelessness and poverty. Legal self employment. Like dog grooming, barber, clean up , car washer and detailer......
Karl is great. That's so important, a strong male good example. Show them a better way.

Can the men leaving prison be connected with organizations that can help then with starting a business and creating a new lifestyle.
it would have been good for Lisa Lang, to have went to finland and some parts of Europe where residinism, is not at high rate people rarely go back, because their system is ran differently, that would have been a better way of looking at this problem

How did Nick’s court date go?
First of all, my mother was a single parent of 4 kids 3 girls and 1 boy none of us went to prison despite living in poverty. These guys made the choice to do the crime stop using excuses!

Everyone's situation is not the same did your mom have a job some of these guys and girls are helping pay Bills because their moms are single parents and weren't as responsible as your mom was so they have to take up the slack when it's winter and there no heat in the house what are you going to do or you come home from school and there's no lights on no hot water to shower some people ask for help and rely on others and some people are going to make it happen im glad you're family didn't go through any of this peace and love
American can help you go far or it can take you darker places you got have faith while being black human being
